Unfortunately we made a decision to go with Portico to sell our flat. 2 years later we still haven’t sold it.
We are not sure ourselves why we sticked with them for so long, as there was nothing pro active done from their side.

Difficult to get a quick response to emails.
For the viewings we had, it looked like we had a trainee coming to show our property.
Hardly any constructive feedback after viewings. If we did get any it was almost like a standard reply.
No strategy change from their side or ideas to take a different approach, it really felt they weren’t reslly interested. I guess we need to look at ourselves as well for sticking with them for this long ..

I have been with Portico (previously Outlook) for over 10 years. I found the lettings department very efficient and professional....special mention to Simon Castle, who has been amazing and always went the extra mile. I have just sold the property and again the professionalism has been exceptional. Imdaad Surroop, my sales agent, was extremely helpful, proactive, encouraging, always going beyond expectations and persistent throughout what was a very challenging process. He is a real asset to portico. I will recommend Portico any day. Thank you!!

Imdaad and Salil did a great job finding us a buyer,, keeping the communication channels open between all parties, and chasing people when needed throughout the sale process. They have excellent knowledge of the local area and competitive rates of commission. Highly recommended.

Really good marketing and great at getting people through the door. We had 3 or 4 offers after the first full day of viewing! The move manager was great at chasing the other party where required. At certain times it has been difficult to get in contact as the office phone is not always answered. But overall a positive experience and an agency I would definitely recommend to sell or buy through!

I was reluctant to use an estate agent but Ammer was an absolute gem. He was SO helpful not only with the sale of my flat but with the purchase of another property. He regularly went the extra mile to give me good advice, find out information for me, or support me in liaising with other parties. He was also honest and helped me to make the right choice of buyer for me which I really appreciated. I am so grateful for all the courtesy calls, check-ins, and support. He is a real asset in the Outlook team.

Just moved in to a new property. The process was quick and straightforward. The team I was dealing with (Hoe Street office, mainly Gergana) were very responsive and quick to help out when needed, even on weekends. We even got a 'moving day' gift box, which was a nice touch. Would recommend working with them!

We dealt with Ammer in the walthamstow branch. He’s local, very knowledgeable and understands the local market very well.

We went to him following a bad experience with a large local competitor.
He was approachable, organised and efficient. He matched us to a suitable buyer.

Everything on our purchase went smoothly.

I’d recommend Ammer to anyone looking to sell their property.

Outlook property management team (Stratford) has been very poor in responding to the requests and handle requests to address problems related to the flats they charge full fees to manage. Well, they are good at delaying and playing balls around, pretending they were doing the work but in fact did not and is constantly failing to communicate to both the tenants and landlords in timely manner. Poor value for money.

I am very happy with Outlook and the legal team how they handled the sale of my property. Quick response with any questions and professional advice. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Would give 0 if I could. All the estate agents and landlords care about is money, and trying to get as much out of you as possible. Claiming for normal wear and tear or damage that was there when we moved in. Worst case of unprofessionalism I’ve ever experienced. Have asked for a complaints email as I want to take this further and of course have heard nothing

Outlook were very responsive, with the selling manager being very responsive and colleagues engaging and knowing the case when the manager was away

I would give 0 star.This company is terrible.I am really shocked with costumer service.Four month trying to solve my issues with them and every person which I spoked was lying including company director(not sure if I spoke with him or someone pretend ). Health and safety issues for them is nothing!!!

I would have given them 0 stars if possible. Reading the other reviews I'm not the only person who hasn't received the deposit back. They are still holding my deposit since I left the property in March and I have never had an update from all my emails or phone calls. I have taken legal actions and asking for a compensation too because they have caused me personal issues.
I can only advice: STAY AWAY From them if you don't want to waste your money and time!

I had nearly all contact with Mr Amer Haroon of Outlook from the local branch at walthamstow. He was a great support to us and always got back to us soon when called on the phone whenever he was not aviable.We also appreciated his advice on matters we could not understand regarding the sale.

Worst agency ever, plz do not deal with them, very unprofessional, when it comes to bond release they didn’t even answer your phone calls, or didn’t reply for your email or messages, scammers, i got a very bad experience with them, they didn’t pay back my bond

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS STATE AGENT. ALL IS FINE UNTIL YOU NEED YOUR DEPOSIT BACK, WHEN YOU ARE CONNED INTO PAYING FOR THINGS THAT SHOULD BE WEAR AND TEAR. I MOVED OUT OF A PROPERTY END OF JANUARY, WHICH I LEFT IN A VERY GOOD CONDITION, AND IM BEING CHARGED FOR SILLY THINGS LIKE A DIRTY CHAIR PAD THEY PAID FOR CLEANING AND IT WAS NOT CLEANED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED - AND THE ITEM WAS NOT EVEN ASSESSED IN THE CHECK OUT REPORT. THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THE CLEANING FEE....
THEY TAKE WEEKS BETWEEN EACH UPDATE.... ITS NOW APRIL AND IM WIHTOUT MY DEPOSIT. HAVING TO ASK SUPPORT FROM DEPOSIT PROTECTION SCHEME TO DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS..

I already wrote 2 bad reviews. However, this agency is objectively so bad that it deserves another one. I don't take any pleasure in making a complain and I do it only when I have a valid reason to. Let me tell you what happened this time, and you will decide for yourselves.
Last Saturday (6 days ago), the electric shower in the only bathroom of the flat started leaking. There is a continuos stream of water coming out from the bottom part of the electric panel. If you turn on the shower, the stream becomes a waterfall. We all understand how dangerous and urgent something like this is, right? Not Outlook Properties. Forget the physical agency. Totally useless. We can't contact the landlady either. Their very unefficient policy says to go to their website and open a ticket to report the issue. According to what the website says, they will answer you in a window time that varies according to the level of emergency. Again, we all agreed how urgent the issue is right? They came back to us after 3 days (Monday). The person in charge said she was on annual leave and just came back. Meaning that the emergency level is totally irrelevant to them. If your house is burning down, and the person in charge is on annual leave, just watch the house burning down, because there will be nobody looking after it. We had to wait until Thursday for them to send somebody (5 days). Two guys came, I guess a plumber and a electrician. They said the issue is really urgent and also really dangerous. They told us to switch off the shower completely and don't even go near to it. A bad water leakage inside an electric panel is something that should be taken seriously right? Not for Outlook Properties. The guys reported the situation to the agency the same day, highlighting the urgency and the hazards. The unefficient agency process now lies on the fact that the agency has to pass the report to the landlady, she has to approve it, and maybe only then, they can send the guys back to replace the deathly dangerous shower that at the moment we can't use. Today is Friday, six days have passed. No contact or anything from the agency. We asked them for an update and they simply ignored us. Tomorrow is the weekend. We can't use the shower not to be electrocuted. We had to keep it completely off to avoid electrical fire.
People, please, we all know how stressing housing is in general, and also in particular in London. This agency has a very unefficient system, they don't care about legal and safety standards, they are not able to deal with landlords in a proper and fair way for the tenants. I do understand they care only about money over everything else (including the law and people's safety), but there is a limit and if you are so bad people will go away and you will eventually lose money in the long term. Please, don't put yourselves in terrible situations because of them. There are many many other better agencies everywhere in London. Do not use Outlook Properties EVER, or you will suffer and regret it badly. Tell everybody. I certainly do.

Our journey with outlook has been great and good service. Ammer has been extremely helpful with the sale. LBWF needs to up their game in the time they take to do the searches but overall we are very happy with outlook estate agent’s.
