Ahmed to the rescue
Just a quick note to commend an employee I had the pleasure of speaking with quite recently. With a number of weddings coming up next year I've been desperately looking for a nice outfit as there will be many people attending whom I havn't seen in some time and am keen to impress! Not only did Ahmed assist me; he inquired as to where the weddings would be (one is in Spain) , what date they were to ensure the outfit was seasonal and even gave multiple options and styles. I originally intended for the one suit for all but have been so spoilt for choice have decided to branch out of my comfort zone and opt for a few trendier numbers! He was kind and professional and I really felt he went above and beyond the call of duty. Now if he could only help me in finding a date! But I think even Ahmed might struggle with that one...

I recently placed an order with Opumo and was waiting on a couple of items to arrive. After contacting the support team, I found out that these two items were in fact out of stock and a member of the Opumo team had e-mailed to make me aware and offer an alternative. Due to the inconvenience, Ahmed very kindly added some store credit to my account. When it came to returning my unwanted items, I realised that the nearest FedEx dropoff point was nearly 100km away. Because of this, Ahmed arranged for a FedEx driver to collect the parcel from my home address. Massive thanks to Ahmed for his fantastic customer service!

My email request for instructions for return was quickly dealt with by Pauline, it was followed up by Olya. Check the site, but buy directly from the producer instead!
This site only works if you don't have to do a return. If you do, be ready for the most laborious, painful and slow process to get your money back. Opumo forces you to return the products directly to the producers, making your responsibility to check that the products arrived in each place correctly before processing any refunds. In my case, I bought 6 different products from different producers and returned 5. So I had to monitor the delivery for each one of them, in multiple parts of the globe. Very nice site, horrible service.

The reason why customers shop at OPUMO and return time and time again is that we've built up a reputation of cutting through the noise of online shopping- finding amazing brands and carefully curating selections of the very best products from each brand on one checkout easy to use checkout.
However, we're sorry to say that in this instance it looks like our service let you down. I understand that you had a conversation with one of our founders where your input was invaluable and we have since altered our returns policy and now only send out one label per order so that all items can be retuned to the same address- for free!

All was well in the end!
I wanted an Aarke Carbonator and Opumo were the only company I could find that would deliver to Jersey so I was delighted to place an order. Unfortunately their swedish suppliers messed up the delivery address and it was sent to France. However, Opumo tracked it down and arranged for another delivery, plus bottles to match (as these also went astray!), and they all eventually turned up a month or so from my placing the original order. It was very disappointing that this happened ( and not Opumo's fault, although reading other reviews this does seem to happen a fair bit) but I was happy with Opumo's helpful attitude and their action to resolve the problem and all turned out well in the end. I really like their selection of goods and the way it is presented and I'm sure I will order more from them in the future

Recently bought a pair of jak royals... So there was an initial hiccup as it got caught at customs... However the team were very helpful, and for once communicated via email through the process to let me know what was happening and refunded me the express delivery.... Would recommend the platform. As for the trainers, so far really chuffed, going to need to walk them in though.
