I ordered a Fieno sweater and an Ara top on February 11th, 2026, after reading about them on Good On You, a website dedicated to rating the sustainability of clothing brands. Since Opera Campi pieces are made to order, they shipped about two weeks later. There was a bit of a delay in Italy at the San Pietro Mosezzo FedEx depot. Apparently many parcels enter a period of limbo there, based on searches I made on Reddit, so while a little frustrating, I was not overly concerned.

My order arrived in Canada on March 12th, and they were certainly worth the wait. The knitwear quality was superb. I have never worn 100% hemp knits before, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for timeless, versatile, and comfortable sweaters (to say nothing of Opera Campi's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and fair labour practices). The Fieno is satisfyingly chunky and can be dressed up or down, while the short sleeved Ara is quite elegant. I love how both pieces complement many wardrobe choices across seasons. My knitwear pieces up to now consist of alpaca, merino, and British wool, which require much more care and specific storage when not in use. Hemp knits are far less fussy to maintain and are a joy to wear.

I just want to note that the pieces did arrive smelling freshly laundered, and were quite fragrant. This could be an issue for those with chemical or fragrance sensitivities. After one delicate wash and air drying, the fragrance remained. Beatrice let me know that the fragrance comes from a natural laundry cleaner used for all their knits, but they were looking into a scent-free option.

All in all, I am very impressed with Opera Campi. If you are able to invest in their pieces, I encourage you to do so. You won't be disappointed.

Era da tempo che aspettavo di provare i capi di Opera Campi e ne ho avuto finalmente l'occasione al pop-up presso La Rinascente. Mi hanno subito colpita la qualità dei capi, la gentilezza e la passione dietro la scelta di un materiale così speciale come la canapa.
Ho molto apprezzato anche la possibilità di chiedere piccole modifiche per adattare al meglio le misure del capo alla propria taglia. Pienamente soddisfatta dei miei acquisti!

I have Opera Campi products I bought over 5 years ago and wear weekly. They are still practically perfect. Every new piece is as beautiful as it is comfortable, chic, and durable - not something you can say for most luxury clothing!

They contacted me about my measurements and produced a nice-fitting and warm turtleneck for me.
