I was impressed with the efficiency, professionalism and speed that my case was dealt with Ola Leslie Solicitors did an excellent job.

I’ve sent 3 emails in the last month checking on the progress of the purchase of a shared ownership property. I asked what actions are still outstanding.
No response to my emails since 9 June.
I tried calling but could not get through. I was asked to leave my name and number for a call-back which I still have not received (I called 2 days ago).
Could someone please give me an update?

I received an email stating that the initial consultation fee was £300 + VAT, so I asked how long the consultation would be. The assistant (Mark) replied to say he cannot give a specific time and cannot speak on behalf of everyone in the firm. This is fine, however a sufficient response would have been that he would enquire and get back to me with a rough estimation for the duration of the consultation. I then replied to say a 10 minute or 1 hour consultation would determine whether the price is reasonable. I'm still waiting on a reply since the 31st March. The lack of initiative to ask about something as simple as the duration of an initial consultation and lack of urgency in regards to email communication does not represent the firm in a good light.

A nightmare experience from start to finish. Tardy, disorganised, poor internal and customer comms, Even now, three months after the completion I have cause to chase and correspond.

It’s supposed to finished in one month but they took four months to complete. Also I paid the stamp duty but they didn’t paid to HMRC.I found out when I received the letter from HMRC. I forwarded the letter to them, then they were saying I made mistake on completion statement so I have to clear. They found out after one month. Until they couldn’t. I sent so many email but no response. Finally what ever the balance they deducted and paid the stamp duty. I received second letter from HMRC with the interest. I bother to contact them. So paid by my self. So I won’t recommend. I disappointed with their service.

You were saying ,you try to contact me several times. But it’s not true. You didn’t contact me until I send the HMRC letter.Because you didn’t know you made a mistake. After one month I received letter from HMRC saying that which haven’t paid the SDLT. I have the proof.That time also I was tried to contact you but I couldn’t able to.When I forwarded the letter to you and my broker then, you said I owe you some money. Why it’s took that much time to find out. You didn’t do your duty I mean pay the SDLT. All on my email. At least you should pay the SDLT and your request me. What ever I owe you or you should inform to me before the HMRC letter.It’s would not that much issue. It’s not my fault to you took that much time. Because Bridging loan would not take this much time.when you took this much time , you know seller how many times try to pull off.if they pull off , who is going to lose the money. Not you is in it? You should contact me and apologies for your fault.
It will finished smoothly. But remember you didn’t do that.
