Totally sucks in comparison to other products which are out there. Not user friendly and very limited functionality. It’s complicating rather than facilitating things. I can’t believe how a CEO can get away with such a product. The board is asleep, but there will be a day of reckoning for this company.
Complete crap
Complete crap, all numbers are automated and provide zero help for urgent matters. Frustrating process trying to get through to receive real help, especially for paying customers. Wasted over 50mins waiting, agent was completely useless and as a result was rooted back to switchboard. So angry...
Buying Micrsoft 365
Buying Micrsoft 365 - somehow it managed to provide me with 12 licenses instead of 1. So 12 times the price. Only realised this after the payment was taken because they bill on the day of payment.
Contacted the customer service - only available in US, so only contactable late in the day and costly to phone. Instead of helping me to cancel, they insisted I buy another single licence product in order to allow the cancellation to proceed. And then passed it off as if they were doing me a favour by refunding on what I had already paid - but it has become clear that in fact it was just a refund on the remainder of the coming month, now I have the invoice that came three weeks later. I cannot believe how much money they have had from me for nothing.
Finally, cannot get the product to work properly across 2 laptops in One Drive.
Do not recommend purchasing 365 - going back to one device installation which works out so much cheaper and more reliable to use.
The most unreliable and buggy application ever!
This is the second time I've been spending days to make a presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint and all of a sudden the file does not open saying that the file is corrupted!
It's like they're trying to make it difficult for you
If you don't keep your device on the internet 24/7 it keeps asking for authentication. Absolute rubbish, and the programs themselves (Microsoft word especially) are BAD if you go any deeper than surface level. The only reason I persist is because I'm too deep in, but please just save yourselves and get anything else.

Google is just so much better. Microsoft asks me to do a million billion authentications all the time. I can't duplicate documents or share them without it locking them. It is by far the worst software I have ever used. It has wasted so much of my time and it makes my daily experience on my laptop and phone worse.

as already stated microsoft only talks to business customers on the telephone domestic customers are left to the useless on line support which is over complicated doesnt direct or help customers that are not computer literate. i some how stumbled on to my solution to my issue by chance. being locked out of my account i deleted microsoft re installed it and bingo! after weeks of changing passwords and other log in issues i notice also microsoft has a new look since last time i used it.

Ich habe das neue Outlook ausprobiert. Dann habe ich mich - um keine Werbung in meinem Postfach sehen zu müssen dazu hinreißen lassen das 365 Basic Paket zu nehmen - die 100GB Cloudspeicher via OneDrive hielt ich für eine gute Idee. Doch nun Problem eins. Ich konnte nicht alle Ordner so einstellen wie ich es wollte (manche Optionen waren einfach Ausgegraut und nicht anwählbar. Somit wurde der Desktop mit allen meinen Geräten Synchronisiert - ABER auch nicht vollständig und teilweise wurden Verknüfpungen einfach von meinem Desktop bei meinem Hauptrechner gelöscht (wtf oO?) Zudem Sind nach der Deaktivierung von Onedrive (für mich absolut unbrauchbar) all meine Daten im Dokumenten Ordner verschwunden (WTF oO?) Zum glück hatte ich ein Backup angelegt. Dieser Service von MS ist nach meiner Erfahrung nicht ausreichend zu konfigurieren, sondern auch noch dadurch unbrauchbar, da einfach alle Daten die auf dem Gerät beim Start der Synchronisierung vorhanden waren nach dem Deaktivieren gelöscht sind. Was für ein Ramsch, der ohne Backup einen echten Schaden angerichtet hätte. Ich rate allen die wirklich wichtige Daten haben vom nutzen dieses Services ab.
Had a problem to activate office 2021
Had a problem to activate office 2021, so tried to call them in the Netherlands, then I was directed to a website, but it was to quick and then they asked if I want to receive a SMS, bur before I could answer the message couldn't accept anymore. So I tried to call back and then they repeat the name of the wbsite, but you cannot hear if they say AKA.NS or AKA.MS so trey to call back 20 times but always not clear pronounciation.. Don't lose your time with them. The whole team should make only party somewhere. You could stop to buy from them and stop calling. Only when there is no telephone ringing more there they will understand that they are in bankruptcy and I will gratualate them. Very bad performance and as I see I am not alone!
Office 365 is a contract with the Devil
Buying Office 365 is like a contract with the devil... once you are registered MS Office owns your computer and there is nothing you can do about it. Even you cancel your subscription and uninstall all of it; it is still there; and one drive still prevents you from saving your files where you want. It is a nightmare... a fraud, a con game. Don't fall for it... BTW it also messes with your local registries.
Awful product
Awful product. It keeps on wanting to run auto-checks for updates - even when you're in the middle of important tasks. And then when you try to stop it, it just launches again and once again tries to run auto-checks for updates. It even stops you shutting down to run a check for updates. Worse decision I ever made.

I have always checked my bank twice a day as I am old and am a rail pain. Now its 3 times.
Oh and im cancelling the £1.99 per month which I started recently with Microsoft.

Worse mistake the business made
I signed up to the business for our 3 laptops, I tried to set it up, main laptop was set up pretty ok. I the rest of my days going back and forth trying to get help with online chat, could never get them working and on the account. still trying as I write this is pure frustration with the accessibility and ease of this online system, I read reviews, and seemed ok, but when I have tried to set it up and get sorted for our small business, a complete mistake and wish I never started down this road. In the process, after it has stuffed 1 laptop with the changed I was told to do that I rebooted it from scratch and going to try brand new again. I highly recommend anyone thinking about it, do some homework and chat with some people first as it really really is NOT user friendly at all to set up any more than one system. extremely difficult. Currently looking at other options as simply cant get the help to get our systems working correctly. and for a small business not having IT it criples us every day we keep trying to sort it and get it right. still cant remove personal accounts, keeps diverting back to personal accounts and will not allow the business accounts to be installed. really difficult to work with Microsoft products in total. and lack of support and knowledge.
Spell checking works really good (no)
I tried to optimize word's spell checker. After a lot of changes like reset my PC language settings or playing with the options in the word left to right, after a couple of restart nothing changed. After some research i was able to find some help.
Very poor customer services
Very poor customer services. Microsoft has grown to be the biggest company in the world and consequently does not care about small customers.
They recently added 2 factor authentication without contacting the administrator. Users are being kept without access to their account.
Scam
Scam, i get more trash emails, than i did before , customer service, is a joke save yourself money, you block them but they keep coming back again and again,I would give minus starts if i could
Don't bother subscribing to Microsoft. They ignore you and refuse to acknowledge or register COMPLAINTS but still take money off your card when told they no longer have consent to do so.

You have failed to take into account that your invoice no longer has my Spanish Tax ID number on it and as such is not acceptable in Spain as an allowable invoice. I can not offset my costs for a legitimate Buisness expense and you are being incompetent and or obstructive by failing to address or acknowledge this issue which is what I am complaining about.
You have failed to deal with this in a timely manner and despite my requesting it be lodged as a complaint you have failed to do so and this ought to have been passed to a manger or the accounting team for someone to make a sensible and pragmatic decision. (ignored)

I have tried several times to get this issue looked at but the complaint and service aspect is repeatedly ignored and I am being fobbed off by being told I have removed my own tax number. How have I managed to change your invoice completely including in its design and layout?

Sehr guter Preis, sehr schneller und professioneller Kundendienst. Es dauert keine paar Stunden nach der Eröffnung eines Servicetickets und schon werde ich von einem Techniker zurückgerufen. Das Problem wird dann per Fernwartung gelöst. Danke Microsoft!
Microsoft products are no longer user-friendly.
I have been using Microsoft products since 1980. Ever since MS realized that they are late to search engine and mobile supremacy, not only they keep introducing new products and platforms but also keep making changes to almost all of their existing products on a daily basis. Windows and 365 platforms are a mess. UIs keep changing.
And now I am afraid that things are going to get even messier after OpenAI/Bing competition vs Google.
