Generally can't be bothered to write reviews but this shop really scunnered me with their lack of simple understanding to issues they caused and felt I need to warn folk not to buy from them. so they don't get **** over by these 🤡

Excellent service from start to finish. Delivered within 2 days of ordering. Excellent quality. What more could you ask for. Thank you for the plates and great service.

Shocking customer service. Yup, wish I had read the reviews. Luckily fo rme they messed me around a week so I had a chance ot cancel the order. Shame they dont learn from these negative reviews!!

I ordered a set of custom 4D number plates from Nomplates, and they arrived after a week and a half. After installing them, just two days later the letters and numbers started falling off the backing plate. I found most of them scattered around the car park.

Because of this, I had to drive home without number plates for about half an hour, risking being stopped and fined by the police. I contacted Nomplates and told them I wanted a refund because I wasn’t willing to pay for number plates that start falling apart after just two days due to poor quality.

Unfortunately, they refused to give me a refund and only offered to send replacements. I do not recommend this company and I regret buying from them.

Ordered some for my motorcycle.. they look awesome fully customisable been on the bike for 1month.. no defects letters still there

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Nom Plates was so poor that I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, it was a huge disappointment.

Customer service was completely unresponsive and unhelpful. I tried multiple times to reach out regarding the issues with my order, but received no meaningful response—let alone an apology or offer to resolve the situation.

As for the product quality, it was shockingly bad. The plates arrived with air bubbles, scratches, an uneven and improper finish, and even permanent marker stains—which is completely unacceptable for a product that’s supposed to be professionally made.

To make matters worse, there is no refund policy, and the company takes no responsibility for their poor workmanship. I felt completely let down and cheated.

Avoid this company at all costs. You’re better off going elsewhere if you want a quality product and decent customer service.

I recently ordered registration plates from this company, and I'm utterly disgusted with both the product quality and the customer service. The plates arrived and were clearly made to an appallingly poor standard, with visible defects and shoddy craftsmanship.
When I contacted them to request a refund, I was met with outright refusal and, unbelievably, accused of damaging the plates myself! This is a completely false and insulting accusation. The owner of this company is an absolute jerk who clearly has no regard for customer satisfaction or even basic decency.
Save yourself the headache and the money. Do NOT buy anything from this business if you expect quality products or respectful treatment.

Just seen the bad reviews...I can only say my plates are boss, and I love them.

Ordered plates , they were reasonably cheap , £38 . They looked okay for the price but after a couple of days the letters were peeling. Got in touch through WhatsApp to sort the issue before leaving a review, very slow at responding. Eventually they came back to me with saying " they had a dodgy batch of "L" s " . Sent me out 2 L letters but no alignment tool which they said they'd send .
Poor service and poor quality . Avoid !!

Ordered plates on there very vague platform & paid £77 pounds for the them, i asked if there was a proof of the plates so I could see the spacing and see how they looked..?
The next day I was told to “explain that when you order”..?
I replied I had already ordered and was waiting for delivery…
I have never heard from them since: Despite emails to cancel the order because I don’t know whats going on.. I Still don’t…?
I have now ordered from a reputable company, no drama, no stress…
READ THE REVIEWS…! This the NOM for them.

I have received the number plates ..!
They are awful..! They Look like a primary school project, which is why I asked for a proof first, to see how they look BEFORE they made them..
The spacing is ridiculous, the font is just so wrong… and the “Laser Engraved” 🤦‍♂️ is so disproportionate !
I also ordered the uk flag emblems …they have to be made by a five year old, tops ..!
All of this could have been avoided by communication …!!!!!

I ordered a motorcycle plate didn’t tick all the fancy options thinking this get me a standard plate, received 4D. I used this to get me legally mobile while I ordered another from Nom (standard plate). Meanwhile the 4D lettering has fallen off and the standard plate has proven to be very brittle and cracked in half after a not much use.

Ordered on Tuesday received the auto email and since then I have not been able to get hold of them, I have tried phone, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. Prior to ordering they have answered questions on WhatsApp but now they seem to be silent once purchased. In the email they state 1day reply to emails but still nothing. Reading other reviews I can see this is normal for them but also quality may be an issue when/if I receive my number plate. With an advertised 1 day turn around others have waited 2 weeks this is not ideal.
Update 5th July A number has came off the plate already so will be changing to a new supplier with better reviews.

Plates took over 2 weeks to arrive.
Arrived damaged with no BSAU numbers and no sticky pads with them even though I ordered them.
Within 3 days of fitting the characters started peeling off.
Overall terrible customer service and terrible quality plates.

Ordered plates on a Thursday paid express delivery and they arrived Sunday. No great drama, but the issue is my order came short and no matter how you contact them, WhatsApp, Facebook or email they just ignore you so now I have had to pay out again to buy items I need to get the plates fitted.
Update - since leaving my review Nomplates have refunded my accessories in full.

Nothing after 2 weeks. Completely ignored all messages. I had to resort to a chargeback via the bank.

None of this is true, I received no reply to any of my messages. I even sent an enquiry message via their eBay to see if they’d reply. Lo and behold they did, then ignored me as soon as I explained who I was.
They even had the audacity to try and contest my chargeback claim.

I bought the negative plates, which I am more than happy with,good quality materials, no issues or problems with them, quick delivery, site easy to use. Gives my car acompletely different look and they look fab

I ordered two sets of 3D number plates with raised chrome borders, paying extra specifically for the chrome detailing. The plates arrived without the chrome borders, meaning they did not match the description or my order.

I contacted Nom Plates immediately through both email and WhatsApp.
Communication throughout was extremely poor — slow, unprofessional, and dismissive. I was offered a partial refund, which I refused, and eventually a vague offer to "modify" the plates, without any proper explanation or timeframe. At no point was a satisfactory resolution provided within the reasonable deadline I gave them.

When I requested a full refund under my consumer rights (as the goods were not as described), Nom Plates refused, incorrectly claiming that personalised goods are non-refundable even when made incorrectly.
This is completely inaccurate and a breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

I am now escalating the matter via my card provider for a full chargeback and reporting the company to Trading Standards.

The way a company handles mistakes says everything about their integrity — sadly, Nom Plates have shown exactly who they are.

Ordered 4d gel number plates.

Received the item on 28th December. Item arrived defective as the letters of the plate had double sided tape stuck to it.

Contacted Nomplates who advised me to go and use a hairdryer to take the glue off. Said to me that in the time I spent on the phone with him, I could have resolved the issue myself, not accepting any responsibility for the fact that it arrived to me with tape stuck to the letters.

I then accepted this and moved on. Tried to resolve the issue myself

4 months on, all the letters from the rear plate have come unstuck due to the substandard double sided pound shop tape the company has used. Contacted them 2 days ago and the only response I have received it, "was the plate on the car?"

The other reviews shows they are known for scamming people with sub standard quality and how they make no effort at all to resolve any issues apart from advising us to fix it yourself.

Really disappointed - advertised as having a 2 year warranty which is false. Less than a year of having them, two letters fell off my number plate. They preceded to sent me two letters in the post to stick on myself which is laughable really. Avoid!

Ordered what I thought would be good plates for my car and paid for extras. My order was wrong and all the extras missed out. On complaint of order I was told I can be sent the extra parts to fit myself. I asked for my money back and I’m now being ignored.
