Great service! fast, efficient and amicable!

After using newyorkgrocery for several months, I am generally satisfied. The orders are usually delivered on time, and the drivers are invariably friendly.

However, more than once--today, for instance--items have been missing from my order, or the wrong items have been sent. I hope these matters can be corrected in the future.

Also, almost every time I order, I receive a polite phone call from newyorkgrocery telling me several items I ordered are not available. I know that keeping an inventory is not simple, and maybe this sort of thing can't be avoided, but it is annoying.

On a grade system, I would give newyorkgrocery a B+.

Very prompt delivery and everything was very fresh. Will definitely order again.

I wrote a glowing review of NYCG because my first two orders for beer - which were needed in a pinch for drop-in company - came promptly with very cold beer. Well, 20 minutes after I posted that review, my delivery came and the beer was very warm, practically hot. I emailed customer support and the rep said that next time you want cold beer you should tell us first. That's like saying if you want your ice cream cold, instead of melted, you should let us know. Oof. From 5 stars to 3. I will give it one more try but if this is how things will go, I'd give it 1 star.

NYGrocery is great. They are quick, efficient and easily communicate any discrepancies with the order. I order beer from them all the time (for my office). I can't speak for their groceries but as far as drinks I've never been disappointed.

Awesome grocery delivery, and quick same day delivery and large selection of items. Please can you get gluten free bread, ener-g light tapioca gluten free bread, is a great one, I'd order a million, and Powerade Zero, grape, or Vitamin Water Zero, lemonade, that would be great I'd order a bunch! Thank you, will order again for sure, definitely try it!

New York Grocery is a fast go-to service for our office needs on a weekly basis. Their turnaround on delivery times are prompt and expeditious. However, sometimes their products selections are limited and fresh produce are sparse. At times, when fresh fruit is delivered, it doesn't always come as pictured - our last batch of pears and bananas were a tad rotten and seemed bruised from transit.

My event was for the same day of delivery and I only received a portion of my order because there weren't enough of the items to fulfill my order. I was advised that there is no inventory conducted in products and therefore they never know what is actually available. In my opinion, for a service that provides same day delivery they should know what is and is not available prior to confirming the purchase. Very unsatisfied!!!

Super fast responses on the online chat, they ran out of some items so called to tell me what substitutes they would provide ( very polite and helpful Indian gentleman who gave fabulous n quick service ) . This is a great option to fresh direct - quicker n good prices too
