Avoid putting your money or your property under the 'management' of Newton Fallowell. This company has mismanaged, manipulated and outright lied to us, the renters and the owners of our home for years.
They will smile as they take your £££ and then accuse you of being impolite for observing and mentioning their shady business practices.
We have been dealing with this company for more than 3 years...

Absolute Joke
Quite honestly the manager at the Bourne branch is the most unprofessional individual I have ever met in my life. The service of fully managing my property resulted in them breaching the contract and left me thousands of pounds out of pocket. His arrogant attitude towards my house being destroyed by the tenants which he placed in my house led to me loosing my livelihood is astounding. How do you sleep at night, let me guess you still get tucked in bed with yr teddy bear where as people like me loose sleep over how to fix a problem you created. Avoid like the plague….

I dealt with Charlotte and her team recently at the Ashby de la Zouch office. Broken promises, lies and a horrific attitude. Her team were dismissive, ignorant and rude. Avoid. I went over the road and found people much better, and spoke to me like a human. Charlotte is a liar, and tried to blame my husband to save herself. I am genuinely shocked at her behaviour and attitude. This is not my first time dealing with Newton Fallowell and on both occasions I have found them to be unprofessional.

Absolutely awful experience from the bloxwich office and I really wish I had looked at the feedback first.

They were happy to take a holding deposit immediately from me upon viewing and said should I fail the credit check which I told them I would. They would look at a guarantor.

They didn’t even attempt this and just told me it’s a no.

For two weeks now I have been chasing and chasing to get our holding fee returned. And being told excuse after excuse from Sophie and still no refund.

This is while I’m going through as section 21 no fault eviction and already highly stressed and money is so tight!

Absolutely terrible

All staff very helpful. Veiwing of properties no problem even when only wanted to measure a few things. Always available to help and even pushed the solicitors along to keep move going. Debbie always on there back to help us move quick. Many thanks to all team even helping with paper work when we had no access to internet and printing.Would highly recomend Skegness site.

Very poor service from Lichfield branch. Still waiting for a holding fee refund after receiving none of the follow up forms to sign or fill in. Terrible communications with agent never being available to speak to and replies to emails extremely sporadic..obviously I have a full paper trail. Didn't want to go down the route of leaving a poor review but I'm at a loss at this point as I'm getting nowhere in trying to discuss the matter.

Extremely slow and poor communication. Dealing with the Peterborough office and it's just a nightmare. They do not get back to you and as a customer, we are constantly chasing them only to receive a blurred response. Frustrating experience

Awful experience wasted our time.

We moved to our forever home on the 23rd of May, and will not be able to thank Amy and Nick from the Wellington branch enough. Amy went above and beyond for us, from her polite manner and communication on a daily basis and her support. You do an amazing job Amy and really care Thank you again

It has taken several phone calls to book a viewing to see a property???? Are they that keen to sell??? No feedback after several calls I made for a return call. Not professional Peterborough Werrington!!!!!!!!!!!!

bought a house from them. they claimed they had the keys. when i went to their office to collect them ( a visit made by appointment) the keys were not there. almost a month later i have no keys. I cant get into their office- it is 200 miles away from me- and they refuse to leave the keys at the property or to post them.said its not their probem. completely shameful bunch at brigg, lincs. avoid at alll costs.

Syston Branch:

I cannot recommend this branch highly enough. Zak Toomassi and his team were consistently transparent throughout the selling of my property. I was assigned a sales progressor (Natalie) who regularly kept me up to date. I feel it’s only morally correct that I rate my experience as a 5 star service.

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Newton Fallowell Syston in Leicester .
We felt pressured to accept a reduced offer and received repeated calls to my wife despite raising concerns. One agent even messaged us saying we’d “lose a lot more” if we didn’t accept an offer — and demanded we apologise to another staff member. We’ve raised this with Head Office and The Property Ombudsman. Not a service we’d recommend.

I noticed a glowing review was posted , naming the exact individuals involved in my complaint. While everyone’s experience may differ, I stand by what I’ve written and am sharing this to ensure transparency for others considering this branch.

Newton Fallowell Mansfield.

If you’re renting, don’t even bother trying.
You can tell that it’s a hassle for them and they’d rather not be showing people around or booking viewings for rental properties.

I’ve been enquiring with this team about flats for a good few weeks. Explaining my situation, providing all details they require, hitting all criteria regarding rental rules etc.
I finally got a viewing for a property that I really liked.
Completely affordable, I was a single tenant, perfect references, working professional, don’t smoke, no kids. No pets.

Was the first to view. Said I’d take it, and I was determined in my offer and questions regarding how we proceed.

She told me to email the person who booked the viewing. I said “it was you” and she proceeded to tell me to email her and it will go straight through to the office (even though she’d told me she was off the next day) how is an email directed to her specifically going to get read. I did what she said.

I called in today and was told the property had gone. No call, no communication. It was so easy to figure out that actually my interest, emails and offer weren’t even communicated with the landlord because it had gone the day that the lady wasn’t even in work.

Why wouldn’t you not say “I’m not in tomorrow so email blah blah” considering she knew I didn’t want to lose it.

And I bet you, they get some right dosser in the property. And people wonder why renting is in such a mess.

Newton Fallowell try so hard to pretend they’re all relaxed and different. No stress.
I don’t think that’s the case, I think they’re just incompetent and unorganised.

Newton & Fallowell burton on Trent highly recommend. Very professional polite went above and beyond and always returned my phone calls . Happy to help with any issues all staff helpful and would try and resolve any problems. Can not thank Mark Patterson enough for sticking with us and being very professional through out thank you to all staff .

Newton Fallowell peterborough do not get back to you with any enquiries you make regarding a property. I have been chasing them for over 2 weeks for a viewing but they are not responding. Poor seller who thinks newton fallowell are marketing their property, do not know they don't get back to people interested in their property. I would not want to sell through them

Just do not trust them as they will push you to every extent to buy property. I was dealing with Loughborough branch. I almost had withdrew from the property I was buying but they assured me that the transaction will be taken care and I won't have issue as the property was not registered and a probate property. But finally the delays and their false assurances helped me to withdraw (although I lost some money). At the end they won't take any responsibility and only blame you for your decisions that you made after trusting them.
