I was not interested after our initial profile assessment call earlier in the day that was actually a sales pitch and hung up. He called back twice more after and I ignored. I was getting ready for bed and he called me at almost 11pm! I said “it’s 10:43pm” and he said “I KNOW”. I said I AM NOT INTERESTED, STOP CALLING ME! So that better be the last time I hear from “Vic”. Absolutely ridiculous and completely disrespectful.

NCSA has been such a blessing to me and my family these last couple years. It makes the journey to college recruiting so much easier and it takes so much pressure of my family. The staff is top notch and most have already been in a young players shoes so they can relate so well. My personal coach, Ben Breazeale, played college baseball for Wake Forest so he knows what it takes to play D1 Baseball, and he has been incredible helping me through every step of my own career.

We didnt use the program, daughter got picked up on her own from a university. Will not cancel contract. Even going through a bankruptcy.

The guys do a great job helping the kids my age with colleges.

Coach Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful as my son navigates his senior year. Gave my family some great next steps.

My son set up an account with NCSA to get some basic information about their program. They scheduled a meeting call to go over the basics. One of their sales associates, self identified as a coach gave us a very general overview of the system (heavily influenced by the services of their highest tier plan - casually acting as these services are standard).
A lot of the services they offer for a paid premium are available for free from my son’s school or club programs.
Their website profiles do act as a sort of one stop shop for organizing his progress towards recruitment.
The coach heavily leaned on making it sound like my son was already a top candidate for all the best schools, even though he hadn’t really mentioned much about his skill set at that point. He was very friendly and acted genuinely interested in helping out. That is until the conversation turned toward payment.
He asked us to put the phone on mute while we discussed what price tier we were willing to pay tonight.
By the way, when my wife had called to ask a few basic questions at the beginning, she was informed that the entry cost was around $200. While we skimmed the price points, we noticed that most of the services he had mentioned were only available for the highest tier. The lowest costing tier was $1,399. We got back on the phone with the coach and indicated that we weren’t ready to make a decision tonight and that we were just trying to understand their services. His demeanor changed a bit and tried to make it sound like we weren’t interested in helping our son. Once he understood that we weren’t committing to a payment tonight, he just said something like get back to them, and just hung up the call without even saying thanks or bye.
He went from being so friendly and really interested in helping my son to just hanging up. It was quite shocking how he ended it.
It was very clear after evaluating the conversation that they were only interested in making a sale as quickly as possible, and not really interested in helping. We never indicated that we would pay at all, just that it wasn’t tonight. No follow up and no offer to help us make a decision coming up. He was just done with us.
Very slimy tactics.

Please do not sign up for this. In my total of 3 years using this service, I only got emails from 3 college coaches. Besides, every single week I get calls from the NCSA "recruiters" pitching me on buying their multi-thousand dollar premium thing that doesn't even guarantee appointments with college coaches. Besides, my email is now just flooded with constant emails from NCSA and colleges that I was never even interested in.

NCSA has been so easy and awesome to use. We have gained access to multiple opportunities for college camps and coaches. Coach Cory has been amazing. He helps keep us focused and not over think.

Coach Brady is always there for us with his expert advice and guidance- we are beyond grateful!

While by definition it can't be considered a "scam", morally it's no different. The salesman made it seem like there was no other way for my student to get into college sports without it, and when I said that I was in between jobs and wasn't sure I could afford it, he pressured me to get the lowest paid tier. It's been a year and all the payments have been paid, and we've received 4 messages from coaches from middle of nowhere states. And my student doesn't even play sports anymore because the coach quit! NCSA refuses to give a refund and has been known to be incredibly hostile towards those who ask for one. It breaks my heart to know organizations like this prey on families like ours, and there is nothing we can do. I could have used that $1500 for his college fund instead...

My daughter warned me not to subscribe to this service. (She is a high school wrestler.) She stated that the free subscription is all she needed. Unfortunately, I did not listen to her. If you subscribe, and pay month to month, you are locked in for the full year. They will offer you an early discount if you want to unsubscribe, but it will still leave you on the hook for about $1500.00. You have been warned.

NCSA is a great platform to get your foot in the door of all recruiting. You have unlimited access to get to any coach, and help is always there when you need it.

First of all, All the good reviews here are done by NCSA not by real people, I played in the top soccer league and thought it would be easier to sign my son up through them so I wouldn't have to handle all the paperwork myself; however, I want to point out that this company isn't a recruiter—they don't actually do anything. They charge $3,000 for a membership just so people can use the website, while the parents have to do all the work. When I received the first call, it was a man trying to schedule an appointment to talk; he was very insistent and wouldn't let me get a word in, so I agreed just to find out what it was about. The next day, a woman called; she was aggressive and pushed me to take the call. When I told her I was already aware of the schedule, she got angry and hung up on me. When I received the call, the man started speaking; when I asked what it was all about, he told me I had to pay for a membership before he could tell me more. He said my son needed a nutritionist and a psychologist. I am a retired professional soccer player. Usually, when a recruiter speaks to players, they tell them which teams have openings; however, this company doesn't know if a player will actually be signed by a team. When I asked, I was told I had to pay for a membership to contact coaches myself—since the company only provides access to the website—and that no further information would be given until I paid for the membership. I asked if he knew anything about soccer; he claimed he played and had been recruited through this site, playing the same position as my son. When I asked what position that was, he asked me what position your son plays? I told him, and he replied that it was the same one. This person knew nothing about soccer.
Then he told me that when my son turns 25, he could go see if he could turn professional; I told him that was too old to try to become a professional—there’s a professional soccer team two hours away, and he could go to the Portland Timbers academy. He kept insisting that it was better to go with his company because there were more opportunities. This person wouldn't let me speak; whenever he asked me something, he wouldn't let me answer, and he ignored almost everything I said.
This company isn't really what it claims to be.

I just want to provide some feedback. Now that we’re really in the recruiting process and been with NCSA for 2+ years, I must say I actually feel like I was scammed by NCSA. We bought the VIP package and have to fight to get time with our new coach because he has 1000+ clients to deal with. There is nothing proactive done by NCSA coaching in terms of personal attentiveness or guidance. There are no check ins so whatever our son is doing, he’s doing it on own. I am definitely doing more for my son’s recruiting process than NCSA is. Everything is canned and automated from NCSA with solicitation from IMG. We also get the feeling that there is no genuine care for having our son or players recruited.
As a high school coach of 16 years, I decided to give NCSA a try for my son... Right now it’s not something I would recommend to any of my players.

This is golf and coming from the student athlete perspective so I can’t speak for all perspective and sports. I truly think NCSA for golf is probably the biggest scam for recruiting. If you just want to be on a team and don’t care what school it is then it may be for you. But if you purchase the NCSA plan to reach a mid-decent d1 level it is completely pointless and unhelpful. Me and my parents purchased the highest membership and thought it was gonna help me get into the best school I can but it didn’t. To make it quick, the NCSA coach is pretty active during first month however after that he kinda ghosts you. I promise you to anyone reading this NCSA will not get you into the best school you can get to, it will just get you into a school and honestly, emailing and contacting a coach on your own is much better and you will see more meaningful results then just Ncsa. One plus is the find your college feature lots basically a way to filter out all schools through criteria’s like division, tuition, location, and anything relating to that. But that comes with the free version. So to sum it up, don’t spend a dime it’s completely useless and a scam.

Our recruiting coach, Michael Pannone, was knowledgeable and responsive. We needed a concise, curated list of camps and he came through with some great ones. He also suggested colleges we'd not even known about, and met with us regularly to address our thoughts and concerns. We're so grateful to Coach Pannone for his expertise.

Horrible horrible service!!! They said we could cancel at any time and then when I went to cancel they said over $500 to cancel. I never signed the document they said I signed. Family of low income parents, my husband had a heart attack recently they are horrble.

With all of the changes in college recruiting I wanted to make sure we had all of the help we could get. I do not regret our MVP membership with NCSA. We have regular zoom meetings with Coach Mike and get tasks to complete before the next meeting. This keeps us on track and we have the ability to text questions or schedule a follow up if we are having trouble along the way. I believe we are getting way more college attention with NCSA in our corner. The videos and workshops are invaluable as well. We started in 7th or 8th grade with a one time fee and I definitely feel like it was money well spent. NCSA is not just saving me time, they’re saving my sanity!
