Easy

I ordered an item that was easy to order, that was priced competitively, and was delivered promptly. Kind of hard to ask for more.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

My complaint here isn't necessarily about the policies at MyPilotStore, but more about the customer service I received.

I ordered a headset adapter in September, used my default shipping address, and it got to my house with no problem. I ordered another one this December and somehow didn't notice that the system somehow defaulted to an old address. I noticed this when I got the email from them that they were preparing to ship the adapter.

I immediately contacted them, and they said that they couldn't change the address with USPS. I emailed back saying that "it shows that USPS doesn't even have possession of the package yet, is there any way it can be stopped, and if not, how did this happen? How did my old address become the default? I know it's on me to double check, 100%. But why would my new address be the default once and then a few months later switch back to the old address? Just trying to figure out how this happened."

I received a call from a rep named Ethan. His attitude was demeaning and arrogant. There was no "I'm sorry that this happened, let me see what we can do." It was "this is 100% your fault and we won't help you, too bad." Just generally poor customer service.

The icing on the cake was when I told him that I was going to try to reach out and have the people at that address do a return-to-sender, he said that they would incur a bill for that and charge it back to me, and that I should try to get in touch with them to pick it up since it was in the same city. I told him that this was likely not an option, and he snickered and said something like well that's your problem.

Overall, I get it. My bad for not double checking. But has customer service really become this? Consumers do not owe it to any company to give them patronage. The same adapters that I need are available elsewhere, at a lower price, and I'll be going there from now on.

I ordered bomber jackets for our 2…

I ordered bomber jackets for our 2 grandkids for Christmas. Was a little leary because of a few of the reviews. They arrived on time and these jackets did not disappoint! Good price. Well made. Very cool jackets. The look on their faces when they opened them, priceless!

Highly recommend

Jacket was shipped nicely in pastic with a hangar. Was soft right out of the box. Leather is very good quality. Zipper seems strong and good quality. Would highly recommend.

They charged me for shipping for THEIR PROBLEM

My first order with them was shipped and returned to them. The address on the order was fine, and there was no reason for the order to be returned by the shipper. I asked for a cancellation and refund, since I found the same thing elsewhere (Amazon) with two day shipping. It had already been more than a week for the order to be shipped and returned, and I didn't feel like waiting.

They canceled and refunded it, BUT they told me they would charge for shipping. There was no REASON AT ALL for this. It was not returned by the shipper for any fault of mine. The address was fine, and the shipper was clearly at fault. The address is a house, I have lived there for 25 years, and I get shipments all of the time.

This was my first order with them, and my last. It was for a minor product. I have zero trust in them now.
