50 years in business, Munster Joinery is now among the largest manufacturers of energy efficient windows and doors in Europe. Founded in 1973, the company has grown year on year, with the continuous development of new products, materials and processes. With operations in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom, the company has a 960,000sq ft. production facility on an eighty acre site in Ballydesmond with another 360,000 sq ft on a 28 acre site at Wellesbourne in the UK. We serve the Irish, UK and international markets. We use cutting edge technology to offer our customers eco friendly products. We provide the ultimate in thermal efficiency with several products meeting Passive House standards. Our PassiV uPVC, AluClad and Aluminium ranges have been certified as Passive House suitable components by the Passive House Institute in Germany. At Munster Joinery we recognise the increasing importance of waste management and recycling in the joinery industry. We have a dedicated ‘waste management and recycling’ division. As a company we are fully self reliant in dealing with all waste and packaging products and all recyclable materials on site. We have also developed an integrated approach to resource efficiency to ensure the most effective use of natural resources. We are conscious of the need to reduce our carbon footprint and manage our natural resources effectively. Our production facility in Ballydesmond gets much of it’s day to day power needs from 2 wind turbines with an electrical output of 4.2 megawatts and a Biomass steam turbine with an electrical output of 2.8 megawatts. The wind turbines are capable of powering 2,260 homes annually. The installation will easily achieve annual savings of over 9,000 tonnes of carbon emissions showing Munster Joinery’s commitment to protecting our environment.

Our window glass cracked due to thermal expansion during the recent heatwave. We contacted the company, and they responded promptly by sending Carl to our home. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to inspect the issue thoroughly. He clearly explained the science behind what had happened, replaced the damaged window efficiently, and also gave us helpful tips on how to reduce the chances of it happening again. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Aaron was brilliant

Aaron was brilliant. Phoned night before to agree time, arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and skilled at adjusting our windows so they opened and closed smoothly ( and no mess either). Without asking, he also did a check on other windows and patio doors and did the adjustment needed. Brilliant experience. Thank you. DR.

Avoid, Poor Quality.

We bought a house through Wharfedale Homes and they used Munster Joinery for windows and doors. We identified a problem with natural effloresence etching marks in the aluminium powder coated frames on the bifold doors. Munster refused to repair or replace, the doors were just over a year old. Poor quality. Not fit for purpose. Basically their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. We would advise avoiding this company and going elsewhere for your windows and doors.

Superb service

The technician, a guy called James turned up on time and fully equipped to do the job which was to replace a burst glass unit. He was so careful not to let the glass shatter and even just checked the doors were aligned properly to check it was right and not straining the glass. He was quick, efficient and very mindful that he was working in somebody's home. A credit to your business. Thanks for such excellent service I will be sure to recommend Munster when ever anyone i know needs similar services

We had Munster complete the windows on…

We had Munster complete the windows on our self build project in Mayo.
We were assigned Tommy Gallagher as our Rep and from the first conversation we were delighted. He came out and did a walk through of the house with us, gave us options and his recommendations with pros/cons of each.
We knew then we did not need to look anywhere else, and he had our windows fitted in just under 5 weeks. We were sceptical of delivery timelines as we had heard some companies can be 8/10 weeks but again, he shocked us!
We are now working through minor snag lists with Tommy and Stephen and they could not be more responsive.
Highly recommend
