Bradley Carr led an expert friendly team to sand and polish the floor boards throughout my whole house, including the stairs. The work took a week. Brad had met me beforehand to explain the processes and answer questions. The house looks stunning. The floors glow and reflect the light so the house looks larger and airy. Thank you to Brad and his team for.

Unreliable and inefficient. Had someone come over and was promised a quote. Over a week later and nothing. Followed up with the company a couple of times and still nothing. Such a waste of time!

Dear Puja,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration and that you found our service unreliable or inefficient. At Mr Sander®, we’re dedicated to delivering exceptional care and quality, and it’s disheartening that your experience has led to this review.
For clarity, after your initial contact, we reached out promptly, visited your property, and addressed a complex flooring challenge with a bespoke solution. We even offered a discounted price and top-tier service to make it work for you. Despite our efforts, you felt the cost remained too high and chose an alternative—perhaps carpet or something else—which we respect as your decision. In the end, we completed no work, made no profit, and were left with only this negative review, which feels a touch unfair given the lengths we went to on your behalf.
We’re a business built on fairness and customer satisfaction, and we’d hate for this to be the final word on our interaction. We’d welcome the chance to understand how we could have better met your expectations. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at 020 7381 9408 or office@mrsander.co.uk to discuss this further—we’d be keen to explore how we can address your concerns and learn from this.
Puja, we gave our all to support you, and though it didn’t result in the outcome we’d hoped for, we remain committed to our clients and to upholding the standards we’re known for. Thank you for your candour, and we hope to find a way forward together.
Kind regards,

Very professional team.
Great job, Brad, Stephan & Marco.
The guys arrived spot on time as arranged, told us exactly what was about to be done and the results to expect.
They moved all the furniture and set about their work without delay.
They didn't stop until they could put our bed back so we could sleep that night.
The next morning back they came spot on time and started on the last two rooms.
The house has been transformed and we are proud to open the front door again.
Thank you guys for a very professional and pleasant experience.
We can heartily recommend Brad and his team, they do what it says on the tin.

Very impressed
I was told I would be impressed and the floor would look like new and that is absolutely true on both counts! I love the result.
When I was getting quotes for the job, Mr Sander was the only company to book a viewing of the space and the floor.
Ivan arrived on time, explained the whole process and answered all my questions and concerns. Communication was excellent and he even picked up and dropped the keys to my house.
I would high recommend Ivan to anyone living around Crystal Palace - a 10 on the satisfaction scale.

I didn’t actually use them but …
Their website quotes pricing for sanding and varnishing as “from £24 per sq metre”. The quote they gave me was around £57 per sq metre. When i queried the difference i was told the lower price was for larger scale commercial work. So I didnt use them.

Svar fra Mr Sander®
Dear Martin,
Thank you for your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that you felt misled about our pricing, and as Managing Director of Mr Sander®, I’d like to set the record straight with the clarity and transparency we pride ourselves on.
To begin, I must respectfully note that your review—stating you “didn’t actually use them”—is accurate in that we didn’t proceed with your project, but it doesn’t fully reflect the efforts we made on your behalf. We reached out to you multiple times, arranged a free visit to your property, and carefully assessed your needs. We measured your space (correcting your initial 90 square metre estimate to 79 square metres in your favour), discussed logistics, and offered tailored solutions—including both full-service and DIY options—to suit your preferences. All of this was provided at no cost or obligation, as is our standard practice.
Regarding the pricing, our website lists “from £24 per square metre” as a starting point for larger-scale commercial projects, which we’re upfront about when circumstances differ. Your quote of £57 per square metre reflected the specific complexities of your job—working around furniture, staging the work across multiple visits, and allowing for drying times—which we explained in detail during our conversations. We’re confident this rate remains competitive for the bespoke service offered, but we understand it may not have aligned with your budget. Ultimately, you chose a different path, which we respect, though it’s disappointing that this has resulted in a review suggesting a lack of transparency when we strove to be anything but.
Martin, we’re not in the business of pressuring clients or cutting corners—our goal is to deliver exceptional value and quality. Despite your decision not to proceed, we contacted you repeatedly to ensure you had every opportunity to explore our proposals. That we’ve ended up with no work and a review that feels a tad off the mark is a shame, but your perspective matters to us. If you’d reconsider, or simply wish to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me personally at 020 7381 9408 or anthony@mrsander.co.uk. We’d welcome the chance to address any lingering concerns.
Thank you for your input—it drives us to keep refining what we do. I wish you the best with your project, wherever it’s taken you.
Kind regards,
Anthony Miller

Great result, quick and efficient team. Thanks!
Contacted Mr Sander via their website and quickly got a text from Brad who arranged an initial visit the next day. The quote was about the same as another supplier, so I went with it. He came with the team and equipment the following Monday and the job was done by midday Tuesday. I'd been thinking I might need to replace my flat's engineered wood floors, but Brad and the team made them look almost as good as new - there were some quite bad scratches and black stains but theyre all gone.
