I’m loving Move, wayy more than I thought I would… it’s been great for my lifestyle and I’ve definitely noticed a saving in how much I used to pay for fitness 😅
Really not sure what these recent reviews are based on and shame to see them as I’ve always had such a great experience with their team when I reach out they’re super helpful and always go above and beyond for anything you need. Would recommend to anyone, you guys are the best x

I wanted to book on a class & was directed to sign up to movegb for free to book. I did this and then was charged £1 for a 7 day trial. When I went onto my movegb account it stated I had subscribed to 3 day trial & my account would be upgraded in 3 days to a subscription of £13.99 a week. I only wanted to book on one class!!!!! Said I can cancel anytime by deactivating the account but no deactivate appears on the page. It’s a scam

Intentionally obtuse membership system that lacks information. Just spent a pound on a taster and then £24 on a membership only to find out I have to pay more to do the thing I bought it for. Each centre/activity should have a clear breakdown of what you pay with each tier with and without passes. I'm still not exactly sure how it works after buying.. how much do additional passes cost, does a discounted trip use passes? If I upgrade to get sessions for free will that then use passes. These are things you should be able to find out before buying and they should be layed out clearly. regardless the subscription is not particularly good value for money and I would be wary of buying.

They took £55 of my card after 7days of trial for £1, which should have been followed by only £1.99 per week as their AD stated, but what they did - they put me on most expensive plan per week and charged whatever they wanted ONLY 7 DAYS AFTER opening the account. I tried closing my account completely, but such option is nowhere to be found.

A few significant issues:
- Lack of activities (at least in Bristol). Lots of taster options (only gyms, yoga classes, and swimming pool), but that´s all. By the way, you can get a taster option for free in those places if you go in person, you don´t need movegb for that.
- They offer climbing activities, mountain biking, etc. but sometimes you cannot book through movegb (so it is pointless). In my case, I couldn´t book a climbing session through movegb, so I had to do it directly with the climbing place and of course, I couldn´t pay with my movegb wallet.
-If you put money in the wallet, and you cannot use it, they are not going to give it back to you (as stated in their Terms and condition).
-I cannot use the money in my wallet to pay my monthly membership.
-I cannot freeze my membership (there isn´t any option from the webpage for that, although they mention that is possible).
- They take a really long time to respond when you contact them and I never got a successful outcome.
-Another bad experience I had:
I got a membership in moveGB last August. I saw a paddleboarding experience and it was cheaper if I booked it from moveGB. I added money to my movegb wallet to pay for it. However, there was an issue with the booking system so I ended up paying directly at the place.

These guys provide such an amazing service… friendly and professional and go out of their way to help. Their app / booking system is fab and there are tonnes of classes to choose from! It makes it really easy to give new things a try and mix up your fitness routine!!

I booked on the trial to try to get back into a healthier lifestyle.
It worked!
I’m now signed upto the full subscription and do 3 session a week. I also do some tester sessions.
I’m loving it , I am so much happier and feel loads better than I did .
It’s saved me loads of money.

Terrible, terrible, terrible... avoid! I dont ever recall signing up, and cancelled my membership 6 months ago. Logging back in they have resued my card details without permission and continue to take money.
A complete scam and not to be trusted.

Very much a con.
Originally set up an account a while ago before getting injured and suspending my membership. I was informed I could restart my membership at a later date which I since have but due to everything else going on I am still yet to make it to any class or activity.
Even after the team confirmed to me that my account will not be charged after the renewal date on the 16th of August I have still been charged further.

Update: MoveGB got in touch with me following this to offer to waive the two weeks before the renewal date you have to cancel. The customer service was good so I have upped the score.
Used a few times over the years but has got progressively more tricksy with much less choice. The renewal date is after the date you can actually cancel from, always trying to get you an upgrade and makes it look like you are paying weekly when they take a whole month.

Have been using MoveGB for years and have always been impressed by the service.
After my circumstances changed and it made more sense to join a gym directly, their customer service team did everything they could to make the transition as easy as possible.
I haven't got anything other than positive things to say about them.
