Having bought and sold companies over the years, one recurring theme has been moving away from Moneris - and Merchant 1 has consistently been an easy win. I’ve worked directly with Calvin, and the level of service has been outstanding. He always answers my calls or gets back to me quickly… sometimes almost too quickly.

The savings to the bottom line are immediate. Transaction fees come down right away, the online portal (Converge) is far better and easier to work with, and a lot of the red tape and frustration I experienced with Moneris simply disappears.

At the end of the day, you get more service, a better platform, and lower fees. Hard to argue with that. Can’t say enough good things about Calvin and the team at Merchant 1.

The high level of support during the onboarding stage was exceptional. I was contacted by 2 representatives, Calvin and Sam, to explain the process and set up the tutorial. Once I was set up they were very helpful with my first few transactions. They made the process quick and easy. Since then I have had to change my bank account and Calvin took care of it the same day.
