Absolutely terrible customer service.
Ordered a bag (£100) and received a confirmation email. 8 days later I still hadn't had any news about when to expect the bag so I emailed customer service. Their auto reply promises they will TRY to get back to you in 2-4 working days, but DO NOT email again or you'll go to the bottom of the queue. Yesterday, I then got an email that my order was dispatched finally (10 days after the order date) including a royal mail tracking number. Then today, I have an email saying the item is out of stock and I'm getting a refund instead (which will take 10 working days). Still no reply to my original email. By the time I get the money back to order something else it'll be 4 weeks later... no offer of any compensation, discount on their website, terrible.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Incredibly overpriced delivery charge. Stated delivery within 3-5 days, two weeks later still not been dispatched.
Contacted customer service twice- no response. Contacted them over Facebook- no response.

Bag delivered was defective due to…
Bag delivered was defective due to discoloured materials. No return and replacement process so had to order a second bag and return original for refund. Confirmation of delivery of returned item from Royal Mail on 22nd November and have chased for refund but have still not accepted receipt or processed refund despite proof.
Avoid if you don’t want to be left out of pocket for their substandard quality

Ordered an item 21st November '24, still not received item. Sent an email and their response on 4th December was it's still in transit. Still not received item and it's 19th December! Would not recommend.
Expensive delivery charges
Eight pounds delivery charge for a small item. Highest delivery charge I have ever had for a small item sent from the UK.

It arrived yesterday and it is TINY.
I contacted customer service asking to exchange it and I was told
“No Exchanges or returns if the item was on sale”. It was.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to leave a zero-star rating. I purchased a purse from them 10 days ago (it was for my granddaughters birthday), and received confirmation email. The Royal Mail Tracking Number they supplied did not work, RM said there was "something wrong", but I waited a few days before sending them an email to ask where my order was (you have to email, because there's no way to speak to an actual person). I got a standard response to my email, which said that they would respond in 2-4 working days and also stated: " note that if follow up emails are sent before receiving our response, this will unfortunately push your request to the back of our queue.". So basically, they're saying that if you email again you'll be shoved to the back of the queue, so they want you to sit there and do nothing, in the hope that they'll reply to your email. So I waited 4 days, and I've had nothing from them - no email explanation and, most importantly, no purse (and my granddaughter's birthday has now long gone). Absolutely appalling customer service and, to be honest, I wish that I'd read other reviews before purchasing from them because if I had, then I certainly would not have bought anything from them. They are definitely a company who do not care about customer relations or customer care. I have now involved my Credit Card company and raised a dispute with them, so they'll be chasing M&N up.
Charged for Duplicate item and then for shipping to return it!
I ordered two different bags and have the receipt marked two items to prove it. I was sent three bags; one was a duplicate of one of the bags, and I was charged for all three. Customer service produced their own receipt saying I had ordered three items. I told them it was a mistake and showed them my order confirmation which listed two items. They would not pay for the return shipping ($12) of the duplicate item. They quibbled back and forth, arguing that it was a final sale item. I said, it does not matter if it is a final sale because I did not order two of the duplicated item to begin with and I am only returning the duplicate. To make matters worse, the item had also gone down in price since I ordered it (less than a week) and they did not even offer to credit me for the difference on the bag I kept.
I seldom have a problem with online orders and I do quite a bit of my shopping that way, but if ever I have had a problem in the past with a good company, they always err on the side of taking care of the customer. Not Matt and Nat! And so they've lost me and anyone I can steer to a different option. As of yet, I have not been refunded, but I will return to this site to post again if they do not refund it.

I bought a bag from MATT & NAT a month ago.
when I had my order confirmation. it was not show any information for delivery estimation date. I thought it will delivered in a week.
but the ordered item delivered in 2 days without any delivery info emails. also the delivery company(UPS) left the item in my condo vestibule, then somebody stole it before I knew this situation. the delivery person threw it at the vestibule door. didn't come inside and didn't contact me by an intercom.
I sent many emails to MATT & NAT for this situation. but they sent me emails that they are not take any responsibility for the delivery, then just contact UPS.
I was offended from MATT & NAT!!!!!
So, I sent many emails to UPS, they said that it will take 10 business day to investigate it. then I just got a email from UPS for the investigation, UPS said that they sent a result to MATT & NAT, so contact them!
It is so annoying and frustrated situation

Reason for product return was due to product quality. Because item was on sale, it was not returnable/exchangeable. No room for explanation as it was completely a manufacturer defect.
Film on sunglasses lifting
The film on the the sunglasses I ordered from here have started lifting in less than 4 months of owning them, causing what looks like huge grease marks all over the lenses which can't be wiped away. For the price I was expecting them to last a lot longer than 4 months. I've bought sunglasses for £10 that have lasted longer than this.

Very disappointed with this company
Very disappointed with this company. I have placed several orders and have a number of their vegan bags, most of which I am very pleased with. However one bag broke having been used a couple of times. I have contacted the company to arrange a replacement strap but unfortunately they are now ignoring my communications. Very disappointing awful customer service. I would recommend you avoid this company.

Mijn eerste (en laatste) ervaring met Matt&Nat was bijzonder negatief: de levering kon niet plaatsvinden omdat zogenaamd mijn huisnummer ontbrak. Ik had mijn huisnummer nochtans bij bestelling doorgegeven. Na heel wat mails zond men me de schoenen (opnieuw) toe, maar die bleken 2 maten te klein. Toen ik dat meldde en vroeg om me de kosten van terugzending terug te betalen, was het antwoord negatief. Ik heb dus heel wat tijd verloren met alle correspondentie en kreeg geen enkele compensatie voor de problemen. Wel integendeel, ik heb er financieel bij ingeboet.

Defective Shoes
Purchased Matt and Nat sneakers that I had been watching to go on sale after 6 months for a great price. After ONE day of wear (running errands around town) the uppers are pulling away from the soles and the colour is peeling off the uppers. So disappointed I thought this was a reputable brand. The store I purchased from is giving me a full refund but I’m so disappointed I absolutely love the style of the shoe but horrible quality.
