Always great service and nice reception staff

After a massive disappointment trying to purchase a car online with a well-known, widely advertised company - Hey! How was I to know they would be so bad? See if you can guess who I'm writing about - I decided to look directly at dealers. I found a car, a Dacia Duster, that seemed to fit all the specs I was looking for. The only problem - I'm based in Essex, I was in Reading for work, and the Duster was in Kent. I decided to pursue it anyway and am really happy that I did. I made contact with a superb salesman, Rupert, who was extremely helpful. He explained everything concerning the vehicle, made all the aspects of the warranty and options clear, and even helped to tax the car for me online. Payment was easy and smooth. Obviously, I was still buying the vehicle without actually seeing it firsthand - and after my initial online experience was skeptical, and was new to owning a car again after a prolonged period - but Rupert made me feel assured that it would be a good purchase. He wasn't wrong. I love the car! I've been driving it for over a month now and have been more than pleased. As I was at a distance due to work, and available for only one day for home delivery to Essex, I was concerned about receiving the Duster but Rupert made it all possible. It was all delivered and signed over on that Friday morning. I can honestly say I am extremely impressed with Rupert and Marshams. Dealing with them has restored my shaken faith in car dealers and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with them again for any reason. Excellent purchase, and stellar customer service. I only wish they were based in Essex and not Kent! Thanks, Rupert, if you ever read this. I really appreciate all your help and patience. You are a star!

Bought another car from Marshams and traded in my old one Tyrone dealt with my purchase and I have to say he is really a top man when it comes to buying a car, very knowledgeable and certainly goes the extra mile to help.

I bought my car at the start of December 2022, great price so I swapped my old car & paid a little extra, thought I'd got a great deal. Couple weeks later the master cylinder needed changing, luckily under warranty so nothing out of my pocket. The service department has been 10/10, really good service & Georgia has been a diamond throughout. Couple weeks after the first problem another one arose, new turbo needed. Now I'm not a car guru but on an 18 plate Ford Focus with only 43,000 on it when I bought it, none of this should be happening. Its caused me so much inconvenience with work & moving things around to take my car in, I was given a courtesy car for 4/5 days again which has saved me. But to save all this stress I wish I had taken my mechanic with me when buying the car. They claimed a service had been done before the car went up for sale but when I paid £240 for one, nothing had been changed! Only to find out they only do a minor service which I was never told about when purchasing. All the problems have been sorted now & I still have 10 months left of my warranty so if anything else goes wrong its covered, as I said service department has been good as gold & communication great but overall experience with the car not great. Good place to buy but when buying just be careful or definitely take out premium warranty.

The whole process was smooth and very straight forward. Dealt with James, nice guy, very informative and made sure all boxes were ticked! Would definitely recommend!

Very courteous, helpful and prompt

Dropped my Jeep Cherokee off before Christmas as a non-starter not expecting it to be worked on till the new year, however they worked on it between Christmas and New Year and fixed it! Over the moon with the service and prices. Thanks to the workshop again for helping, and a special thanks to Georgia for arranging everything.

Very efficient service. Dropped my car in at 8.30am and it was MOT’d by 9.30! I was reminded of my appointment the night before which I thought was a good touch as I’d have probably forgot otherwise, so thank god for the text message. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and happy. Totally recommend this garage

I popped in on the off chance to get a bulb changed. They were very obliging and helped me as soon as a mechanic was available. Didn't have to wait long. Fantastic service would definitely use them again.
