UPDATE- Company is a fraud!!
So Logitravel continues to play games and give me the run around . I call and they can't help me, they tell me to email. I email and they just don't answer my questions but say they are looking into it. They would not even give me a rebooking .
I assumed that medical emergencies would be covered when I booked with a travel agency.
So thousands of dollars wasted and a lot of aggrevation. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Likewise, we must inform you that without prior insurance, most providers do not allow cancellations or refunds due to force majeure. When travel insurance is not included and is not additionally taken out, reasons for cancellation or change due to force majeure are not justified for reimbursement purposes, as the providers do not regard this as an exception, so we cannot ensure any successful modification or cancellation without penalties.
Still, we regret that management is not being agile and communication is not being as expected.

They lost my business.

I needed to speak with Logitravel today, as their system would not complete my online payment. I called at around 4:20pm only to be told very abruptly that they were closed. Their website clearly states that they close at 5pm. I immediately booked online with a competitor. Same product, same price, same personal details, same card. They lost my business, because they don’t deserve my business.

UPDATE: Logitravel’s response is a complete lie. I have the budget reference number time-stamped at 16:24 - well before their cut-off time. They also have a record of the call I made yesterday which supports this. I would not trust this outfit at all with your money. If they are prepared to lie on Trustpilot just think of what else they are capable of.

JUST DON'T

Melia hotels use Melia Escapes and in turn Logitravel to manage their package bookings.
We had and continue to have a nightmare with this so, I can only say, don’t use this service and the hotel package option.

Our booking was for a trip in May and we remain out of pocket by €105.51 and only have offer from Melia to address this, which was less than this and with no consideration or recompense of the impact caused.
Why would we accept less than we have had to pay ? Equally, I am shocked that this is the level of service that you would deem is acceptable and would aspire to.

As there are medical considerations and high anxiety around travelling, much is always planned and booked in advance to ensure smooth outcomes. It is fair that issues arise, but these should be managed much more professionally and these issues seem to be fully as a result of issues from Melia.

On arrival at the Lanzarote airport, we had a very speedy passage through customs and bag collection, which was great as there were flight delays – which often happen. We were essentially the first off the plane and through to collection. However, we could not find a driver for the agreed transfer. I called Melia and was informed they would check to see where the supplier was. A time later, I called again to seek an update and was told first that transfer information would have been sent to my WhatsApp. (That is a bit of an assumption that I would have WhatsApp – luckily I do). But there was and are no communications there. I was then told to go “upstairs” (which is for departures) and “someone” would tell us where transfers would be. I asked the info desk and apparently these are to the right of the building, but we asked all the people parked there and no-one had a clue what we were asking about.

I called Melia again and now was told that the transfer had been cancelled. No-one knows who and why, but the transfer was now not going to happen. I should take a taxi and this would be refunded at some point.
We joined the now VERY long queue and did eventually get to the hotel. But very much later than planned and we had to cancel our booked arrival dinner.

Given the issues , I was very concerned of any repeat for the return trip. I called Melia on a couple of occasions to confirm this and was offered reassurance that all would be well and it was repeatedly verified and an additional voucher sent with full details of the transfer. At 1400 on the day of departure, as this could not be checked earlier, I looked to validate the booking using the link, only to find this had been cancelled.
I called the provider, as instructed, and they informed us that the booking had been cancelled by the travel company, Melia Escapes. I guess you can imaging our further frustration. I arranged a local taxi to ensure we made the flight on time.

This email at customerservice.meliaescapes @ logitravelgroup works but you often get emails from customerservice @ logitravelgroup. which does not allow response to them, which adds to the frustration as you can imagine. However, if you call Melia Escapes customer service on +442030363706 then you get to a friendly and supportive team for the first call. But they can do nothing other than pass to the claims team, who NEVER respond / call back or seem to care and you cannot escalate to a manager, as they are “not there” or cannot be contacted and an often offered call back or email from “Maria Joel” (if that is the actual manager) simply does not materialise.

We are now moving towards September. I have called Melia on a weekly basis and still have no resolution.
BE AWARE, BE WARY AND FIND BETTER OPTIONS. Meila Escapes simply show no customer care at all.
I am shocked that this is the level of service that you would deem is acceptable and would aspire to.

Still waiting. Is ABTA my only recourse now ? How can logitravel offer such a poor level of service? Atrocious.

And now it’s September 2nd. Nothing.
I gave now raised this with ABTA and they are looking into it.

I think I now need to leave with ABTA unless there is reasonable intervention from logitravel in line with my earlier communications with them.

I am not sure the comments from Logitravel are recorded here but they are saying the ‘relevant team’ is now offering recompense now. I am unsure if the team commenting here believe the offer is a reasonable recompense and / or in line with my previous comments. I am happy to discuss that with them and they have my details. So please do reach out.

Until a reasonable offer is made I believe I need to leave this with the ABTA process as they have confirm they are investigating this matter.

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague. Absolute scammers. Customer service number plastered across the documentation goes to a different company who sell offices. Only possible means of communication are email or a WhatsApp chat. If you do manage to engage with anyone, they fob you off by saying another team is working on it. They drag this out until it becomes too late to do anything about it and you are hung out to dry. If you are thinking about booking with this company, don’t. If you already have, contact your bank and report fraud.

Absolute worst

Absolute worst, worst costumer service ever received. Ever. I booked a cruise. With a drinks package that served TAP WATER, TAAAAP WATER!! On the first day i contacted logitravel to get the package refunded ASAP. They advised to wait until the end of the cruise. Just at the end to be refused and ignored. Horrible treatment.

Iris was exceptional

I had a voucher that needed to be used until the end of this year, I got in touch with Logitravel they were helpful and kind as usual. Logi....good as usual...

We have booked with Iris before, and as before, she was on the ball. Checked where and when we wanted to go, then looked at discounts etc. Even spotted that MSC had missed our middle names on the club cards. All booked and very easily done, without any problems. I know if you need help they are there, and can sort things very quickly. Would recommend Logi travel.
