I ordered a complete body test from Lifelab Testing and sent my sample as instructed. For weeks I was told on live chat that my sample was “in the lab” and results would be sent soon. After repeated follow-ups, I finally sent a formal email regarding not receiving results despite being nearly a month. They admitted that my sample had been mistakenly sent to their hair testing facility in Pakistan! They also said their blood testing lab has now closed and they can no longer provide my results which they never told me as I only found out through formally emailing a complaint myself.
Despite this being entirely their fault, they have refused to refund me because my purchase was over 90 days ago. I have had to postpone and eventually lose multiple doctors’ appointments while waiting for these results, which has caused a great deal of anxiety, stress, and wasted money. Paying £129 for a test that was never completed feels completely unfair, and the lack of sympathy or accountability has been extremely disappointing. Customer service has left my mental health declining massively, is this how customers are treated?
Employees should know the hours of operation. Use words like please and thank you. Have more staff. Very unprofessional. About 50 people lined up. When they opened they took people with appointments and kept us waiting

I ordered a test from LifeLab Testing. When it arrived I was shocked to see that nothing was what I had ordered. I received a Liver Function box, with a PSA test and info card inside. Neither of which are the tests I had ordered.
I jumped on to live chat, explained the problem and sent a picture, and was told I needed to send the kit back to them. They also said they’d send a replacement kit out to me ‘soon’. I requested it be sent next day delivery but they just said it would be ‘soon after the weekend’.
When asked for a return label they said I needed to pay for one myself. I explained that there was no way I was paying out of pocket because of their mistake. So they escalated it via email to a manager and now I have to wait days for their response.
I also requested the tracking info for the new package. They said I’d revive it via email once it’s been dispatched. Then the chat was ended.
Overall, awful quality control on order shipping and horrific customer service when there is an issue. I will update if and when I ever hear back from a manager.
Update-
Usman emailed me similarly to the reply below. I am pleased that the parcel no longer needs to be returned at my expense and that that a replacement test is being sent. However, I was assured the test would be with me ‘early’ this week ‘hopefully on Monday’. However it is now Tuesday evening and the package is not with Royal Mail yet according the the tracking number given.

Ordered a ovarian cancer test from this company delivery happened no problem but sadly the blood retrieval stabbies didn't work when I eventually did get some blood from my finger and tested it it wouldn't go up the test only to find out the test kit was missing a buffer solution to make the test work . I've tried to get on their website to make a complaint but it seems their website is not working and according to Google they are connected to phishing and the web address given by them on this site isn't live just takes me to a buy this domain I'm absolutely gutted no other way of complaining and waste of money for a dud test !

We sent in three test kits together and one of them still hasn’t come back with the results, and they are still saying they haven’t received it.

My 30 year old daughter introduced me to Lifelab after she had requested allergy and intolerance tests. She was impressed with the service. Within just over a week, I had ordered the test, received the test and received the results. Fabulous service! I'm already seeing improvements in my gut health based upon the allergy information and the ommission of those foods.

Avoid avoid avoid!Shocking service!!!
I took my bloods on the 29/02 (standard food intolerance test £72) heard nothing from them, kept nagging them and eventually in late July they admitted that they were now lost. Finally got a new blood kit, with an extra general allergy test. I completely the new tests on the 14/08 and waited and waited and waited.
Even more nagging needed!!!
Eventually got my food intolerance test results on the 02/10!!! But no result for the extra one they gave as way of apology?!
The whole experience was very, very poor and I would never recommend them to anyone ever!
I felt like I had been scammed and I’ve been left feeling very disappointed with very little explanation- they just don’t seem to care.
To add insult to injury the communication from the company is almost non existent.
