LG refusing to honour extended warranty.

Have an LG washer dryer that is showing an outlet fault (due to a small cotton glove blocking the outlet). LG refuse to help as they say it’s not a manufacturing fault!! How is it possible not to be a fault when it allows items to get sucked into the outlet?!!!!

POST VENDITA DISASTROSO

Comprata una lavatrice lg,dopo un mese perdita di acqua,qui inizia il calcario assistenza,chiamo lg Italia prendono in carico il problema dicendomi che verrò richiamato dal tecnico di zona entro massimo 48 ore,richiamo passate le 48 ore visto nessuna chiamata ricevuta e mi danno il numero diretto tecnico riemoca,mi risponde dicendomi che i tecnici sono fuori per un corso e non sapeva quando sarebbero ritornati,faccio presente il disservizio totale,prendono appuntamento per il giorno successivo alle 16 per poi richiamarmi e posticiparlo alle 18,vediamo e speriamo risolvano almeno il problema celermente.POST VENDITA DISASTROSO

DONT EVER BUY LG

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience with LG has been bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others.

We purchased an LG stove that malfunctioned after just one year of use. One year. For a major kitchen appliance, that is completely unacceptable. This isn't our first disappointing experience with LG either — we've owned LG TVs in the past that also broke down within a few years, well before you'd expect any major appliance or electronics to fail.

What made everything worse was dealing with their customer service. Getting a resolution was nearly impossible. They bounce you from person to person, no one takes ownership of the issue, and follow-ups go unanswered. It honestly feels like a deliberate strategy to wear customers down until they give up. In our case, it worked — not because we were satisfied, but because we ran out of patience.

LG products are expensive, and customers deserve both quality and accountability. We received neither. We will not be purchasing LG products again, and I would strongly caution anyone else considering them to think twice.

Whatever you do don't buy LG

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy ANYTHING LG. We made the mistake of getting all LG products for our kitchen and a washer and dryer. In less that 5 years, the stove broke and the microwave. They wanted over $600 to repair one burner so we just got a new one but got a completely different brand. The customer service is infuriating and their warranties are a joke. They will "cover the part" but you can't just get the part and fix it yourself or get your own technician. You have to get the part through their chosen technician and the labor starts at $350. Save yourself money and frustration and avoid LG at all costs. The microwave broke too and we had the same issues. We will replace the part, but you have to pay for labor( which is more money than just getting a new microwave). Also, within a year of having the microwave, the lights began flickering on the time display and you can't see any of the settings. We stayed at an Airbnb that had the same microwave, and guess what? Same problem. They have garbage products and are just stealing from people.

Actually I had no real experience

Actually I had no real experience . I called Costco as I was supposed to . I purchased the appliance there . They said LG would contact me to set up a service appt . LG sent me an email saying I had an appt on 4/20 " in the morning " . There was no phone number even given to call them . It did say the technicians name and there was a link you could click to contact him . It was just a place to leave a message . I got
One of those automated responses and doubt I hear anything else . This is not a good day for the appt. I honestly have never heard of this way of setting up a service appointment and I have had tons . Called Costco and the woman there had to call them and change it .

Televisor Lg con poca calidad

Hace un mes he adquirido un televisor Lg y tras estos días de uso, estoy muy insatisfecho, el producto es muy inferior a la publicidad que anuncian, especialmente en lo relativo a negros puros, ya que no se corresponden en absoluto con la experiencia real. A pesar de haber revisado configuraciones y optimizado la conexión por cable, el resultado sigue siendo muy inferior a lo que cabría esperar de un producto de estas características y precio. He llamado a atención al cliente y mi experiencia es muy negativa con su servicio, donde no he recibido la asistencia necesaria tras múltiples intentos de contacto.

Die LG ThinQ App ist Sozialismus

Die LG ThinQ App für Waschmaschinen und Waschtrockner ist purer DDR Sozialismus.
Egal welches Programm man wählt: Fast alle Zusatzoptionen sind permanent gesperrt. Die Fernsteuerung funktioniert zudem nur, wenn man jedes Mal manuell einen Knopf an der Maschine drückt – das macht die ‚Smart‘-Funktionen völlig sinnlos.
Ich war immer ein großer Fan von LG-Haushaltsgeräten, aber mit der Serie 7 und der ThinQ App ist das vorbei. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit, dass man als Kunde Vorwäsche, Temperatur oder Dampf nicht frei in jedem Programm selber wählen kann. LG ist für mich eine absolute Katastrophe; durch diese Einschränkungen werde ich nie wieder LG-Geräte kaufen. Ab jetzt LG Boykott!

Compré una lavadora hace 45 días aprox, no centrífugaba lo que debería a su máxima potencia. Por teléfono me atendieron muy bien, pero a la hora de solicitar el problema nada, no sé todavía en que parámetros se han fijado.
Después de un mes,he tenido que preguntar dos veces para que me dijesen algo.
Y no me han solucionado nada .
Si tienes un problema con esta marca no se hacen cargo.
Una pena!!! Con Balay esto no pasa.

I’m surprised LG is still in business as their products are low quality and their customer service is terrible. They sent me a defective monitor. I sent it back to them, per their instructions, and they have been giving me the run around for more than two months. Every time I call or follow up by email, they stall. They tell me they are waiting for an update from their managers. They tried to offer me a crappier, cheaper model. When I pointed out it was an inferior model, they said, “since you refused the replacement, we’ll only give you a credit.” So now they have my $500 and I have nothing. Total criminals.

Purchased an LG Electric Dryer (with matching washer) on July 13, 2024 from Home Depot. A little over 18 months of use and the drum rolllers have failed. A very disappointing produce. Just normal home use, too. Bye Bye, LG.

Réfrigérateur américain LG GSJ470DIDV – Défaut grave après 4 ans

Je souhaite partager mon expérience suite à une panne majeure sur ce réfrigérateur américain LG.

Après 4 ans d’utilisation normale, l’appareil présente un dysfonctionnement sérieux du congélateur (température instable entre -9°C et 0°C). Malgré les recommandations du SAV (arrêt complet de 48h) et l’intervention d’un technicien, le problème persiste.

Le diagnostic final est sans équivoque : compresseur hors service.

Il s’agit d’une panne lourde, anormale au regard de la durée de vie attendue d’un tel équipement (généralement 8 à 10 ans). Le coût de réparation étant très élevé, cela rend l’appareil économiquement irréparable.

Au regard de ces éléments, cette panne peut être assimilée à un défaut de fabrication ou à un vice caché, au sens de l’article 1641 du Code civil, dans la mesure où elle rend le produit impropre à son usage dans un délai anormalement court.

Je regrette profondément ce manque de fiabilité sur un appareil de cette gamme et invite les futurs acheteurs à la plus grande vigilance.

Dans l’attente d’une prise de position du fabricant concernant ce type de défaillance prématurée.

Ho acquistato un televisore, ha un evidente problema il pannello ho anche mostrato le foto che lo dimostrano ma per loro quello che è un evidente difetto di fabbrica rientra in un normale difetto del pannello. Hanno perso un cliente e dal mio punto di vista credibilità

If negative stars were possible

If negative stars were possible, LG Canada would not get even 1 star from me. Their customer service is a complete disgrace. Dealing with LG Canada was one of the most frustrating, incompetent, and infuriating experiences I have ever had with any company.

I made more than 20 calls to their customer service team, and not one of those calls produced any real help. Every time, I was told to wait or promised a callback within a day, and those callbacks never came. Their staff are not there to solve problems, they are there to waste your time, pass you around, and make a bad situation even worse.

I left detailed comments all over their portal, yet every time they contacted me, I had to repeat the same issue again from the beginning, as if nobody there could read, follow notes, or do the most basic part of their job. Their communication is beyond terrible. It is lazy, disorganized, and completely useless.

What should have been a simple return for an unopened item turned into a 4-month nightmare. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card company just to force progress and get my money back. That is how pathetic this process was. LG does not listen to customers, does not respect customers, and clearly does not care until money is involved. If they will not respond to reason, then hitting them financially is apparently the only language they understand.

My advice is simple: do not buy LG products. And if you insist on buying one, do not buy directly from LG, unless you are ready to deal with a customer service team that is shockingly incompetent and completely incapable of handling even the most basic issue properly. Dealing with LG Canada’s customer service is not just bad, it is a complete nightmare.

LETTERS ON FRONT WIPING AWAY ON WASHER!!! NEW

i called after buying a $4,000 set of front loaders, so top quality. after 1 year the words on the front of the washer are wiping away with just a micro fiber towel from laundry dust!!!!!!!! calling the company they said You pay us $400 and we will come replace it! i said how about a word vinyl that i can just lay over the top. if the words wipe completely off the washer is USELESS!!!!! Nope they want $400 How about that for choosing all the appliances in my house LG. Fool me once shame on you! NEVER AGAIN

I've had this fridge for about 3 years…

I've had this fridge for about 3 years now and had to completely replace the computer the compressor the ice has stopped working twice now including the ice balls which is no longer in warranty every time I've called It's been not a good experience as far as I'm concerned the refrigerators are garbage stay away!
