Exemplary service and knowledgeable at all times!

Great service from start to finish. Got a call straight away after placing the order online to confirm the dates of when items were expected in so I could plan collection.

Nice and helpful. Bike built well and use the best finance company. Phoned actually to try and get the bike out the door the next morning after ordering the night before!

Only slight downfall is parcel force suddenly appearing at the doorstep without any updates from parcel force side - glad I was in (nothing to do with leisure lakes tho)

Bought my Whyte ebike, it wasn’t checked correctly in shop. Had to be returned within a week. Have had countless and on going issues. Sent numerous emails only to be ignored. Countless trips back to the Cheltenham store, wasted time and money. Then was was told the manufacturer would be in contact. Still nothing to this day.
Awful customer support

I bought my new MTB from the Cheltenham store recently, and the customer service was mixed but mostly good. I phoned up to order my new bike, and that all went really well, a very helpful salesman (named John, I think) offered a 12.5% discount on any accessories I bought with my new MTB. This was appreciated and is similar to what most bike shops offer to do. Unfortunately, when I visited the store to collect my bike, I had to deal with another member of staff and not the guy who took my phone order. It was here that things deteriorated somewhat. The salesman refused to honour the 12.5% discount, mumbling something he charged my slightly below the RRP on some Shimano clip-less and full price in a Bontrager Elite Cage and Camelbak Podium Bottle. I was going to get a few more bits and bobs for my new steed, but decided against it on principal. So the store lost out in the long run, as it has also put me off buying anything from them in the future!

Anyway, the bike was set up perfectly and has been a joy to ride. I took for its first service at my local Trek store, so that's something else Leisure Lakes Bikes in Cheltenham, will miss out in the future. It might be small change to them, but if a few customers feel the same as me, it's their profit margin that takes a hit....
