Easy and convenient for our business and our clients!

LawPay makes it easy for clients to make payments securely online. It integrates with legal software. Ease of finding payments and matching to our deposits each month.

We are 1 attorney and 1 paralegal. We signed up for LawPay back in January 2022 and have never had an issue whether we have to get phone support, or online support. It is so easy for our clients as well.
And I think your fees are very reasonable and I would rather use this service than any other online payment provider, period! There are disounts often, for instance if you use Clio I think there is a discount. There are interesting and helpful seminars and CLEs as well.

Credit card fees are high. Other companies have much cheaper fees. Interface is otherwise good.

Very convenient and intuitive. It makes the sorting and collection of payment significantly easier.

When doing Zoom meetings, I have participants deposit payment for the reserved time into my trust account (unearned time can be refunded) before the scheduled mediation. Zoom is helpful for remote meetings; LawPay allows the mediation to go forward knowing the participants are serious and that payment will not be an issue.

Lawpay is a user friendly for attorneys and clients and has been hands down, the easiest, least aggravating platform I use in my practice.

It is easy to track the transactions, which account money went into, etc. It is easy for our office and our client's to use. I love it!

If there was to be one change, it would be the way it communicates with the bank so I understood some of the coding on my bank statement better.

The credit card and debit card fees are higher than the average. Affirm (client care) takes a long time to deposit funds into the account. The 5% fee charged by Affirm is very pricey.

Easy to work with.

We should have an option to also send the receipt via text (providing a number) not just email.

Law Pay understands attorneys requirements regarding trust funds. Most credit card processors are not aware that they can't deduct their fees from a trust account. My credit card transaction are always processed quickly. It is very easy to check whether a client has paid, just by logging into the portal. I am able to include a payment link on emails, correspondence etc., and my clients all love it. I even include a payment link stored as a text shortcut on my iPhone. When I type $$$ the client is sent the link! I have been using them for at least 5 years (pretty sure longer) and I could not be happier.

The search area does not work half the time. And it would be nice to search under reference name. Also the refund area does not work properly.

LawPay has made accepting credit card payments much easier and makes it less likely that there are mistakes in your accounting. I have only had to use help services once but they were very quick and helpful! Highly recommend...
