I love the brand, fit and quality. I hate their customer service and will only buy in retail in the future.
I placed an order and immediately realized I needed express shipping as I was ordering a gift for my son’s 20th birthday. I immediately contacted them.
They hadn’t read or understood my email. Not at all. Simply responded with “you can retire anything after it is delivered”
So I mailed back when I noticed this stupid response. But I was at work. It was 62 minutes later when I mailed. The customer service rep told me that it is past an hour and the order cannot be changed. Basically this tells me they have no time or desire to make things right for a customer.
That was at 9 am this morning. It is now 8 PM and the order hasn’t shipped.
Their customer service staff don’t care. So just buy in REI or Blanes or something. Some store you trust to take care of you.
Remember on line they take a huge margin. Maybe Their cost of goods is a quarter or less or sales price. When they sell to retailer they are selling in at 50 to 60%. They make less. So for the extra margin they earn selling direct you would think they would offer better service. But no. They don’t so they don’t deserve the extra margin.
I won’t order again and I have removed myself from their mailing list.

Once the order was placed, I remembered that this brand has to be sized up to a size that I never have to with other brands because it shrinks a lot after washing. I called the customer service number to change size, no answer even though the web site said it was open. You were only allowed to email which can take up to 3 days to answer to cancel the order, but only had 60 minutes to cancel. By the time the email came, I was told in a condescending way, it was too late to cancel and even though it had not gone out, it shipped three days later and now I owed $7.50 for the return. The items were sent back without opening and still waiting for a refund. Finally put a dispute on the charge with my credit card company. Now I have all this paperwork to fill out for the dispute. Customer service is horrible.
Durable, Comfortable, Super Functional
KUHL is one of my favorite clothing producers! I've been wearing this brand since I first found it in an REI in Chicago. Pants, shirts, hoodies, fleeces, and I recently snagged a BURR jacket- all top quality.
PRO TIP: Find an REI and go there to buy KUHL products- you can try them on and you will have zero customer service issues

I have 3 pair of kuhl revolvr pants
I have 3 pair of kuhl revolvr pants. I love them and have worn them out. I purchased 2 new pair of revolvr pants and they are mis sized. The pant waist is small and not correct. The new revolvr pant waist is not as described. Please note waist is 1" small. Kuhl has changed the configuration in an attempt to improve their product without closely monitoring specifications. Hips and waist are not accurate sizing. Bad for business Kuhl as I have supported your products for years. To top off the aggravation kuhl charges the buyer $7.50 return fee for their mistake in sizing. Not a matrix for building customer satisfaction and repeat business. You have certainly lost my business. Whom ever is in charge of Kuhl, take notice you are running your brand into the ground.
I bought 5 pair of the Revolvr style…
I bought 5 pair of the Revolvr style pants, I noticed some holes developing in random spots that were not consistent with normal wear. These pants are $110 a piece, I assumed with that price tag they would be durable and customer service would be exceptional. Unfortunately I was wrong on both counts. I contacted the company sent multiple pictures of the issues that were developing in less than a years time. Kuhl told me to send in my pants and they would decide whether it was a manufacturing or defective product. This would take up to five weeks. I responded by saying I would have nothing to wear to work if I sent them in, I live in Maine and winters are pretty cold to be wearing shorts to work most days. I asked if I could get a refund or discount for replacement and there was no response. I used to wear Carhartt but felt the materials were not as durable as they used to be and with the cost increasing I didn’t want to spend the extra money on a lesser quality product. I definitely would have been better off buying two pair of Carhartt to the one pair of Kuhl Revolvrs because the Carhartt always lasted at least a year or more and were half the cost. Don’t be fooled by a high price tag, do your research before you buy. Since my experience I have now seen that Kuhl reviews on average are 2 stars out of 5 and many being less than that.
Elastic waist coming apart
The shorts I got as a gift has an issue with the elastic seam coming apart. I would have thought this high stress area would be tested for durability, but apparently not.

Excellent service from KUHL UK customer service. MIke was supportive friendly and very helpful. Great to have a human being dealing with ‘human’ issues. Well done that man! If you need support this is an example of how it should be.

Kuhl outsider jacket is a joke cant withstand a light drizzle without leaking and wind cust right through it. Dont bother reaching out to customer service, your warranty expires whenever they deem so dont recommended buying anything from kuhl they do not stand behind their product.

Customer-paid shipping for online orders
From my experience, Kuhl has nice products, however, I probably will never buy online from them again. They are clear that returns are customer-paid, but given so many other companies cover shipping, and you can't return Kuhl products to stores like REI that carry the brand, I probably won't ever order online again. I recently ordered shorts that look exactly like a pair I own and love, so I thought it was low risk -- but the fit is totally different and the color isn't like the image online, so I have to do the return for $7.50. I won't repeat that mistake.
Very poor
Very poor, poor customer service. An item was defective and they made me pay to return it. I had to battle with customer service multiple times for them to take responsibility. I will never shop for Kuhl products again. Every time I contacted them, they didn’t know what I was talking about and never returned calls/ emails when they stated they would. :(
Order never received
I ordered 4 trousers off the website, paid, got the tracking number etc. - lots of updates from the tracking service, with the final update telling me that the package has been delivered. Unfortunately I did not receive the package at all. I can't get any feedback to any query on the courier company used - other than a generic reply saying that I need to contact the seller, which is proving impossible..
Poor Quality Products, dreadfull customer service
Their customer representative in the UK is probably the poorest I have ever come across and frankly rude.
It was not clear that their trouser I purchased would fade and discolour so badly, that I would end up looking like a tramp after the first wash.
Avoid, a complete waste of money.

So far, so good! I purchased two jackets—one for myself and one for my wife—and the shipping was impressively quick. We had already checked them out in-store but decided to order online because the floor model had a small snag.
Customer service has been excellent so far, and the quality of the jackets seems great. I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but our experience has been nothing but positive. For now, I’d say this is great gear and well worth considering!
Poor Quality - worse service!
Like the other reviews, I’ve bought several Kuhl brand products previously. My last purchase was a jacket which the sleeves started fraying after only a few months.
I forgot about it in my closet and when I took it out, this winter it got worse really quickly, and I took it in for warranty to a local retailer.
Since it was two months past warranty, they refused to help me. Citing that it was normal wear.
Kuhl makes very nice looking fashionable clothing. However the quality has gone downhill and I will be avoiding this brand in the future and advising others the same.
