Due my next PRP in a few weeks time and I can see the improvements since the last. Each time I've been all the staff are friendly and approachable if I have questions.

From the get go I was made to feel very welcome and at ease. Everything was explained perfectly and the procedure was ALOT more easy going than I had first imagined. If you are even debating the thought of getting a hair transplant I would say don’t think about it, DO IT. And would 100% reccomend KSL to anyone!

Very friendly nurse instantly put my mind at rest and proceeded with the anaesthetic version of RP injections. The fact that the nurse was the same as the one for my earlier treatment was also reassuring.

I had my hair transplant done recently and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was incredibly professional and very mindful of any anxieties. They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made the whole process feel basically painless. I also really appreciated the payment plan, which was zero interest and very accessible. Highly recommend to anyone considering the procedure. I want to give a special shout out to the two wonderful female technicians in Manchester who made my experience just that extra special.

I’ll keep my story relatively brief.
I have been considering a hair transplant and, like many people looking into the procedure, I have found myself confronted by an overwhelming number of companies advertising heavily through Instagram and other social media platforms. One of the companies I contacted was KSL, which advertises clinics in Bristol, Manchester, Kent and other locations, giving the impression that treatment is available relatively locally.
I submitted an enquiry specifically requesting a consultation at the Bristol clinic. I subsequently discovered, however, that the surgical procedures themselves are carried out at their Manchester and Kent locations. Bristol appears to be used for consultations rather than for the actual surgery.

After submitting my enquiry, I received a call from KSL. When I returned the call, I was initially greeted by an AI receptionist. Unfortunately, the conversation was clunky and the system did not appear to recognise who I was, despite my having already submitted my personal details and requested a Bristol consultation.
After several minutes, I was transferred to a real person. During the wait, I was presented with a considerable amount of promotional material about KSL's FUE results and celebrity associations. At a point where I was looking for reassurance and straightforward medical information, this felt more like marketing than consultation.

Red Flag One: The Initial Contact
Having already submitted an online enquiry, I would have expected the person or system contacting me to know who I was and why I had made contact.
Instead, the AI appeared to have no knowledge of my enquiry or my request for a consultation in Bristol. Eventually, I had to be passed to a human receptionist.
For something as significant as elective surgery, that first contact did not inspire confidence.

Red Flag Two: The Telephone Consultation
When the receptionist answered, there was so much background noise that I initially struggled to hear what she was saying, including her name. It sounded like a very busy, open-plan call-centre environment.
She explained that FUE stood for Follicular Unit Excision, but when I began asking more detailed questions, I did not feel I was receiving the level of information I needed to make an informed decision.
I asked whether I could meet a surgeon at the Bristol consultation. I was told that this was not possible because the surgeons operate from Manchester and Kent. Instead, I would meet a "hair expert".
That terminology concerned me.
I am familiar with the hair industry, and the description "hair expert" can cover a very wide range of experience and qualifications. What I wanted to understand was whether the person assessing me would have the clinical and surgical knowledge necessary to determine whether I was a suitable candidate, assess my donor area and scalp condition, discuss realistic graft numbers, and explain what could reasonably be achieved surgically.
If the person carrying out the consultation is neither the surgeon nor someone directly involved in performing the treatment, I would want to know precisely what their qualifications are and what clinical authority they have to advise me.

Red Flag Three: Pricing and Graft Numbers
I was told there were essentially two price points depending upon the surface area requiring treatment, with the cost being somewhere around £6,500.
I was also told that the maximum number of grafts was approximately 2,600.
This raised another question for me. If there is a fixed maximum number of grafts, then simply describing the pricing according to the "surface area" being treated seemed overly simplistic.
Hair transplantation surely involves considerably more than measuring an area of scalp. Donor density, hair calibre, existing hair loss, future hair loss, scalp condition, graft survival, hairline design and the number of viable follicles available all seem highly relevant.
I was also told that approximately 80% of transplanted hairs were expected to be successful and that, if this figure was not achieved, the procedure would be repeated without charge.
Again, rather than reassuring me, this raised further questions that I felt should have been answered by someone with clinical or surgical expertise.

My Decision: By this point, none of my communication with KSL had given me the assurances that I was looking for. Quite the opposite: each stage had raised another question. I therefore decided not to proceed with a consultation. My ten pence worth is this. A hair transplant is surgery. It is also something many of us approach emotionally because the prospect of restoring lost hair can be enormously appealing. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO MORE SPACE LEFT TO COMPLETE MY REVIEW :(

After considering a transplant for a number of months I took the plunge and booked in for a consultation at KSL Manchester. Steve on the day talked me throughly through all the options and I was so impressed I booked in for surgery. Charlie the patient co-ordinator kept in touch numerous times before my surgery day to make sure I knew exactly what to expect, as well as getting my a lovely M&S lunch on the day of my surgery. On the day itself, I was a bit anxious, but needn’t have been. The friendliness, professionalism and kindness of the team were brilliant. I met Dr.Zeeshan who talked me through the procedure and designed my hairline, ensuring I was happy with it all before going through to start the surgery. The procedure itself was painless and Dr.Zeeshan and his team made me feel completely at ease. Follow up after care has been really good with regular check ins during the initial 2 weeks post surgery and I’ve got my first PRP session booked in for next month. Can’t wait to get some confidence back and see my new hair come through over the next year. Cannot recommend KSL and the team at the Manchester clinic enough. Best decision I’ve made in years

I had my hair transplant for my front corners around 7 days ago. Whilst the recovery has been tough (like for any clinical procedure) my experience with the KSL clinic has been excellent. I had been researching hair transplant for years and a couple of years ago I found KSL through my own research and then eventually through referrals of people I knew (3 in total). I knew I would not mind the cost if it was done properly and with a trustworthy team (instead of going to a random clinic in Turkey).
The consultation team are very knowledgeable and can answer all questions about how to maximise the success of the procedure.
After you book it, they will share the pre-op and post-op instructions which are incredibly clear and if you follow them you are golden.
The day of the procedure the staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Dr. Nishal explained every step of the way and respected my opinion, specially when drawing the hairline. He was very thorough, triple-checking everything, and he and the nurses were very careful that I was comfortable all the way.
I am really forward to my results and will update my review once they are more visible!

I’m coming up to a year of PRP treatment with KSL and have always been made to feel most welcome and comfortable. They’ve definitely mastered the art of making it as painless as possible. Would strongly recommend.

Third PRP session at KSL with Louise. Always polite and great to talk to whilst undergoing the treatment. Won’t lie, it does still sting no matter your experience but it’s only a few times a year for good results.

Everyone helped me to feel at ease throughout the process and I am very excited to see the results.

From the moment I walked into KSL Clinic Salford, I knew I was in safe hands. The whole experience was incredibly professional, seamless and efficient from start to finish. Everything was so well organised, and at no point was I left wondering what was happening next. The team constantly kept me informed throughout the day, explaining each stage of the procedure and always checking that I was comfortable and okay. Those small touches really make such a big difference and show how much they genuinely care about their patients.

A huge thank you to Dr Zeeshan. His knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail are outstanding. You can immediately tell that he is exceptionally skilled at what he does, and his confidence and expertise put me completely at ease throughout the procedure.

I’d also like to give a special thank you to Sai, Varut and Sabrina and Rut. Their skill, care and dedication were evident throughout the day. They worked incredibly hard, were always reassuring, and treated me with kindness and respect from beginning to end. They should all be extremely proud of the work they do, and the same goes for the rest of the team, who were fantastic. I would love to reach out and ask about there role as it seems like a very interesting job!

A big thank you as well to Charlie on reception. She is so welcoming, down to earth and brilliant with people. She made me feel relaxed from the moment I arrived, and the follow-up calls afterwards have been a lovely touch that really shows the level of care KSL provides doesn’t end when you leave the clinic.

I’m only on day two of my recovery, so it’s still very early, but I’m already really happy with how my new hairline looks and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience so far. I genuinely couldn’t recommend KSL Clinic Salford highly enough. Thank you to everyone involved for making what could have been a nerve-racking experience feel so smooth, reassuring and positive.

The whole team fiza, dr matee literally every single person has been so helpful and supportive. Highly recommend this to anyone considering a hair transplant or any hair procedures. Had my PRP session today with Louise. I also saw Brooke and another member of staff who as always were friendly and professional whilst making me feel relaxed . Louise talked me through the procedure , told me my options and again make me feel relaxed . We had a lovely chat while she did the procedure and it was done with no pain at all , she advised me on the after care and was very professional. all in all I would recommend KSL all of there staff are lovely and it was a great experience X

The day of the transplant i was made very welcome and everything was explained to me which relaxed me greatly. The 3 people who worked on my transplant were friendly and professional.

A massive thank you to KSL Clinic in Kent. My consultation with Sam was brilliant, he was completely honest about the process and what to actually expect, no sugar coating.
The coordination team were fantastic, everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and on the day Dr Zeeshan and his team were amazing. They put me completely at ease, had a laugh and joke with me throughout, and just made the whole thing feel relaxed rather than clinical.
Honestly the procedure itself was easy, I listened to music, dozed off for a bit, and didn't feel any pain at all. The aftercare has been just as good, they're genuinely reachable whenever you need them. I'm 8 days post surgery now and really happy with how things are progressing.
If you're on the fence about getting a hair transplant, don't overthink it, go with KSL. I looked around a lot before deciding and I'm really glad I ended up here.
