I cannot speak highly enough of the service and support I received from Rachael Burrows, York. The selling process had many curve balls, all of which were out of our control, but Rachael carefully explained and communicated with me every step of the way. Her caring and supportive approach made this much easier and we got there in the end!
I would definitely recommend Rachel and her team.

Every aspect of the service provided by Hannah and Louise was great, from first meeting Hannah (on the strong recommendation of friends) to the completion of my property sale, with great speed and efficiency, at a fair price for their excellent service. They were very respectful and listened carefully, but were also very clear with their advice. Neither pushy nor deferential, simply outstanding professionals in a well run professional company.

If you are considering Knights for family law, then please consider another firm.

If you do use them and are allocated Mel Loxley, please ask for someone else.

Loxley represents my father in law in a divorce and has bled him dry. She continues to rack up enormous bills which he can't afford and has made him sign something which gives Knights first dibs on his divorce settlement which means he will end up with very little.

None of this would be my business except today Loxley wrote to a third party and made a series of false and defamatory allegations against me even thought I am not a party to proceedings. I'm aware that some lawyers use dirty tactics but this was a bit extreme. I will be following up Loxley's unprofessional conduct with her firm but quite frankly I am disgusted by her behaviour and it's not the first time she has pulled this sort of stunt.

Jeannie Anderson-Price from the Nottingham branch handled the conveyancing services relating to the sale of our property and the purchase of another. We found Jeannie very professional, and always on top of the game. She attended to our queries very promptly and clearly, and was always at the other end of the phone if we needed her. Jeannie guided us through the whole process very efficiently and we found her very easy to work with. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeannie.

The team at Knights have been fantastic. They made the difficult experience of selling my late parents' house very straightforward. They were clear and professional from the start. I always felt informed and in control of the situation. When I didn't understand something they answered any queries quickly and with clarity. I can fully recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

A top class service from Knights for my Mum's house sale. Joanne Robinson, supported by Lucy McKenna, were brilliant from beginning to end - very responsive, understanding of our circumstances and proactive and thorough in their communications. The Knights fee was higher than other quotes I received but Joanne was open and transparent about this and took the time to explain why (namely that they take on limited cases so that they can provide a better service). She put me at ease from day one which is why I decided to appoint them. The exceptional service absolutely justified the premium, and I would strongly recommend Knights (specifically Joanne) to anyone selling a property.

I can't speak highly enough of the services provided by Knights, particularly by Lauren Rose and Linda Gregory, who handled my case with exceptional professionalism.

Previous experience with other property solicitors had been far from positive to say the least, but Lauren and Linda were brilliant throughout. They kept me up to date with all key priorities, the progress that was being made, and were always open and responsive to my questions, which as a first time buyer, was a huge help and put my mind at ease throughout the whole process.

I can't recomment Knights enough for anyone who is purchasing a property, and if you have the pleasure of working with Lauren and/or Linda, you're in for a treat.

From personal experience, I recommend you DO NOT instruct this firm. For me, it was ruthless, uncaring, error-prone, case-damaging, ignored instructions, rapidly blew my £25k budget, billed me circa double my budget, then threatened to sue me for its extortionate overcharging. It bills for every second, even for its own severely damaging errors. My opinion is to AVOID like the Plague!

Jamie and his assistant, Susie, were friendly, helpful and completely efficient in their dealings with us when we sold our house recently. We could not have wished for better solicitors.

Very simple process, no messing around everything was done perfectly

Linda and Jaspreet recently completed a conveyance, a little more complex than a normal sale involving an LPA and partial disclosure. The counterparty were difficult to say the least, in this situation having one solid fixed point is critical. Knowing I had a person like Linda involved reassured me I had the best chance of resolving problems that can appear during a sale. Withall the uncertainty in a property transaction having a person who can respond promptly is critical. Once again many thanks Linda/Jaspreet.

I can highly recommend Jamie Noel who helped us through a tricky sale in a professional and friendly manner. Communication with him was easy and efficient and I had every confidence in him bringing the process to a successful conclusion. I would very happily work with him again.

We used Knights for both the sale and purchase of our properties. Whilst our journey was not smooth with a slow market and buyers pulling out last minute, Knights were exceptional, they were patient, dilligent and preoffesional.

We had a very small window to then complete when a deal came available and the excellant work of Kimberly, Lucy and the team, was second to none, we made the very tight deadline and was able to get funds moved early to ensure a hassle free and smooth move in day, completing at 1030 am, a great time im surecwe can all agree for home sales.

I would absolutely use Knights and recommend them to anyome, as i stated we were from no fault of our own, problerm clients with deal changes and ever changeing windows of completion, not once did Kimberly or Lucy faulter or complain, and completed ahead of time, excellant service.

I can only comment on Charlotte Ridgway from Knights Oxford (though I believe she travels to multiple branches). Charlotte is incredible, she goes above and beyond, is professional, vastly knowledgeable, efficient and the speed of addressing what needs to be done and ability to act in your best interest is phenomenal. This was a somewhat complex house sale and I really didn't need to worry about anything, I absolutely did not need to call or chase things, Charlotte was 'on it'. I was in hospital and struggling, Charlotte came to the hospital to help with paperwork and to help move things along more quickly and easily. I was deeply touched by this. I couldn't recommend her more highly. Her paralegal Courtney Hobson was also highly efficient and always charming to correspond with. Charlotte is a consummate professional and extremely good at what she does, full of integrity and an all round lovely human being. A total asset to Knights.
