It is heartwarming to be able to support others around the world who are building their lives. I sense the equality in the human spirit. It is also humbling to realise that any complaint I have about my own life circumstances is nothing more than self indulgence! Yet is is ok to have a grumble from time to time just not to wallow it it! -) Kiva reminds me of the Grace in my life and how important it is to share that Grace as it is given.

I appreciate the updates on the loans I make and I like being able to choose who I loan to. It feels great to be helping people help themselves in a dignified way. And the website makes it very easy for me to reloan the funds when they are paid back.

Kiva is an incredible platform for microlending. Helping people to be self-sustaining through economic opportunity is one of the best gifts you can give. I lend regularly and donate to Kiva to help them sustain this tremendous work around the globe.

I found Kiva 15 or so years ago, i was looking for a way to assist motivated people who had no access to other funding sources. Kiva is excellent at this. Most weeks I make one $25 loan, the cost to me of foregoing one restaurant dinner. It has changed people's lives. Now the interest repayments fund the new loans as a virtuous circle.

I love to read of the aspiration and ambition of people, and of their successes. There have been a few fails along the way, but not many, and not significant. I have failed at times too, so I empathise.

Mostly the outcomes are positive.

Selecting lenders has taught me much about my own values.

Kiva lets me get to know the people I'm lending to by telling me their stories. They are from every corner of the world and that gives me a little insight into places I have known little about. It makes the world a smaller, friendlier place.

I've been using Kiva since 2014. It's been a very positive experience. They periodically offer incentives to double your impact, and allow repaid funds to be "rolled over" to fund new microloans. You can filter potential borrowers to focus on causes, countries, or populations you prefer. They email updates when you receive repayments so you can see your impact on borrowers' lives. I highly recommend Kiva to all those who want to make a difference.

I have been making loans to Kiva for over 5 years (my first loan was a Christmas gift certificate from my brother). I have now made over 15 loans to borrowers in 10 different countries. My original loan has been repaid and then relent multiple times and I have added more loan amounts as well.

Like how they show how much money that person has raised, how much more they need and what they need the money for.

Kiva is an awesome organization that lets people contribute in smaller amounts, yet still truly assist others in need to help themselves. I've contributed to Kiva for many years and it is my favority charity.

Kiva makes it easy to donate to those in need all over the world. I feel they truly make a difference! You also get to track your donations and see how you've made a difference.

I love the ease of being able to look for people I want to loan money to and to then send the money. It's a very simple yet effective way of helping others.

I've been on the site for years and have seen many good things. Parents should give their children seed money to invest in others on Kiva. They just might learn the power of helping those less fortunate.

I have been a sponsor for at least 8 years. During this time I have had very few individuals default on their loans. KIVA has an excellent system of checks and balances. I like that they involve local organizations in the vetting process. It is important to me to support marginalized individuals and communities, especially women and eco- friendly projects. I whole heartedly endorse KIVA and their partners.

I like that it's not a handout, it's a loan that gets paid back. I can redirect the repaid amounts back into other loans.
