So far so good
So far so good! Ordering my garden table and chairs online was simple and lots of choice. Delivery has been quick and lots of updates, which is great. Kieran and Phil who delivered and built the table and chairs were polite and very helpful. My table and chair set up look so nice, i really look forward to some nice weather to use them. Highley recommend this Kingsley and Smythe.

Excellent purchase experience and service. from Kingsley Smythe.
Purchased a Regal teak extendable table, 6 chairs complete with cushions winding parasol and cover in March 2026.
The table and chairs are excellent quality couldn't ask for anything better at the price which was very competitive. The same applies to the additional accessories. Excellent service from the office. Had a couple of queries which were quickly answered on the phone. Nice to speak to people that know what they are talking about!
When it came to delivery - again excellent service from Darren and Barry.
Overall a very smooth experience - thanks!

I have been extremely impressed with Kingsley Smythe. From the point of ordering to delivery their service has been exceptional - their team is very knowledgeable and responsive. I'm thoroughly impressed with this company from start to finish. I ordered the 8-seater extendable bundle set directly from Lee at the sales office, and the customer service exceeded all my expectations. Barry, Dan, and Kieran were professional and efficient with the setup and delivery, keeping me updated throughout the day. Despite the bad weather conditions, they installed the furniture and removed the waste without a hitch. The furniture itself is beautiful, and I'm really happy with both the quality and the service. Excellent delivery process
Just had a parasol delivered, good price and smooth ordering process
What has stood out was the delivery process, updates all the way as they made their way up the country. Surprised that the team offered to put it together, sadly couldn’t take them up on the offer as it’s going up to our lodge in the lakes when the weather improves! They kindly said if we struggle putting it together to phone them and they’ll talk us through the process. This is excellent customer service and as a result I won’t hesitate in using them again!

Poor quality furniture, extremely rude customer service
I purchased a garden set in May, and when it arrived, the chairs and table were damaged and cracked. The delivery team gave me a replacement set from their stock on the van, telling me that it’s "pretty normal" for their sets to get damaged during shipping since they source them from overseas.
A few weeks later, the furniture started to degrade , with the chairs splitting. I reached out to customer service, Laura was incredibly rude and patronizing. She was unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue, even when I asked for someone to come out and inspect the table. My requests were ignored, and I was repeatedly told this was just "natural weathering of wood," despite the fact that the deterioration happened in just a couple of weeks. I’ve owned high-quality wooden garden furniture in the past that has lasted for years, so I know this isn’t typical wear and tear. The reason I bought this set was to get a larger garden table, and I’ve tried to resolve this issue in good faith with both Lee and Laura. However, my requests for a replacement set or an inspection have been declined, and they’ve only offered replacement chairs. And due to the failure of this, I have requested a full refund and collection of this not fit for purpose garden set which has been refused and I have had zero contact from them since.

We would like to reassure readers that the furniture supplied was inspected both visually and in person, and was confirmed to be structurally sound. The changes you describe relate to the natural weathering process of teak, which is a natural hardwood and will alter in appearance when exposed to outdoor conditions. This process does not affect the strength or performance of the furniture and was explained at the time of purchase and again when you contacted us.
Despite no manufacturing fault being identified, we offered replacement chairs as a goodwill gesture and arranged an on-site visit to review the furniture. We have also continued to offer further support in an effort to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
While we understand that this outcome has not met your expectations, we have acted in line with our responsibilities and in accordance with consumer legislation. We remain willing to assist with the replacement items already offered and to carry out a final complimentary inspection for peace of mind.
We take all feedback seriously and are committed to providing high-quality products and fair, transparent customer service.
