WB Boiler
Went with JB Heating to get a new boiler sorted. They gave us a few options, from cheaper ones up to the more expensive stuff, and actually explained the differences properly. We ended up going for the Worcester Bosch 4000 (option 2) and the install went smooth, no issues at all. Big shoutout to the admin team as well – really helpful throughout. Really happy with everything.

To be fair, yeah – they do have a fixed price for a boiler clean at about £120, which is a bit dear compared to my old retired plumber. But saying that, these lot always pick up the phone and reply to emails, which makes a big difference.
Feels like you actually get looked after a bit and someone’s there to listen when you’ve got a moan 😂

Hourly Rate
They charge by the hour, which is actually alright if there’s not loads wrong with your system.
Last year I ended up paying for about 3 hours ‘cause it were a breakdown, but this year, now everything’s sorted, it only took an hour for a service.
Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for – proper decent, top service.
Little tip – make sure you’re in when the engineer comes so you can show ’em what you’ve noticed. Gives ’em a better idea what’s going on, otherwise they might just crack on with the one problem you’ve pointed out.

Stay clear of this company
Initial conversation and appointment was good. Issue rectified however a pipe was damaged whilst work was carried out which caused a bad leak and flood in the garage. This company refused to come and rectify the issue until i had paid £290 with no commitment to fix the issue caused free of charge. I had to get another company to rectify the issue. Claim form raised by them which i am contesting through court.

For clarity, this matter relates to work completed in October 2025, where the agreed service was carried out and invoiced. The account remained unpaid despite multiple attempts to resolve it directly, and the matter was referred through a formal legal process.
A County Court Judgment was issued in March 2026 confirming the payment was due.
We take all feedback seriously and always aim to resolve any issues fairly and professionally.

Perfect job! Excellent outfit. Came out to change the boiler. Agreed to do it at short notice because my brother had just come out of hospital. The whole operation from start to finish went smoothly. Charlie called today to service my Air Source Heat Pump. He let me know when he was on his way and arrived shortly after. He was pleasant and efficient. He explained what he had done and reported on the condition of the unit. Very satisfied

Excellent & professional service
Re Job 24570, Will's visit today was excellent. He was polite, patient, considerate, professional and kind in his dealings with me and the efficient way he carried out the boiler service.
He also went the extra mile by quickly checking out a noisy radiator for me and almost instantly resolving the problem.
I also need to compliment Emilie who I think made the booking on how efficient, polite and courteous she was in doing so.

Needed a service on our boiler
Needed a service on our boiler. Engineer came out and charged for the service but refused a certificate saying boiler needed 2 new parts. Fast forward 2 weeks, engineer came out again but said he had the wrong parts but company invoiced us £120ish pound for the labour! We disputed this and they said they would put a credit on file but they were just waiting on the parts STILL!
Rang for an update a couple of weeks later to be told we needed a special service certificate for moving house so it would be more expensive! Needless to say we have now gone elsewhere now but I would avoid this company at all costs!

Fantastic work done
I had an ASHP fitted 3 years ago that did not work from day 1. Thankfully JB Heating did a fantastic job of repairing my system and it is now working perfectly. I want personally thank you for doing a fantastic job on repairing my system which is working perfectly now. A special thanks to Gary and Jack who treated myself and my home with respect. I would definitely recommend that you use their services.
