Iperius Backup Anmeldelser 

Je suis très content de Iperius Backup. J'ai pris hier matin une licence de sauvegarde à 199 euros, ça fonctionne très bien, quand nous avons besoin d'aide l'équipe du support est présent. Je recommande, bravo !

Software is full of bugs and flaws

It get's stuck during backup very often. Application does not have any retry mechanisms. You will not be notified about it even when you configure the maximum backup duration.

What you configure is not what is does. Having full + incremental backup does not really works as intended (or at least how it works in other software)

Most of the errors and logs are in Italian language not matter what you choose in interface.

Interface is very confusing. There are redundant backup options and it's not clear which one is leading. Take for example Hyper-V backup configuration. All settings are in the backup mode, but other settings in the main job are not really working correctly or applied at all.

Manual and guides are outdated and in most cases does not reflect latest version.

Backups speed is very sloooooow. If you have few GB it is fine. If you plan to backup more than 1TB don't use this tool. You will never get full speed of what your servers/storage can handle.

Support is useless. They will blame you and make excuses that also other "big players" make mistakes.
If you open a support ticket, it will be automatically closed after 10 days, even if it is waiting for their response!

if you get any problem with backup, support will tell you to run only one backup at a time "because if you run 2 jobs in parallel, unpredictable issues can occur"

If you send diagnostic logs, you can't review what they collect because archive is password protected. Support refuses to give you the archive password to review the data.

For few support cases they were asking for full server access without any reasonable explanation what they will do there. Tried to have TeamViewer or Anydesk session so that I spectate/record their work but they refused.

No refunds! Just don't ask for your money, you will not get it back.

I agree with all points mentioned in the review of "nikkitap".

In short: not for professional production use! Make yourself a favor, just pay bit more and go with another software which works properly.

The paid-for version needs improvement.
It's great, when it works, which it does solidly to on-site storage, but it fails far too frequently when backing up to Microsoft OneDrive for Business, and when it does, it provides no message about the error or the exception.
Support used to be rapid and thorough; my recent experience is that it is poor, verging on the absent: I have been told that Iperius has trouble with dots in folder names - which is completely permitted by all sources. I was also told "The only thing I can suppose is a permission issue." which is only one better than "Have you tried switching it off and back on again?"
If you're OK with the limitations of the free version, then it is worth every penny; my recent experiences of Iperius's support's reaction to unmessaged failures leads me to say that it does not qualify as a robust backup solution for businesses.

I am using the free version to back up to an USB stick.
It's brilliant and very easy to use
