When doing my assessment online, the system on there end crashed and deleted everything I had answered in my exam! This happened TWICE! i called & emailed they said they would get the problem solved for me, 2 days later they emailed me saying I will have to pay for the ENTIRE course again if I wanted to pass. Which is ridiculous. As it wasn’t my fault the system crashed.

It was a great time of study and the materials were informative and well presented, I really enjoyed my time studying the ICA course. Hopefully, I'll take up a new challenge by registering for a different course or the advance of that which was completed. Thank you for the support and clear information provided.

I enjoyed every aspect of the course ranging from course material to the excellent customer services provided by every member of staff whom I came into contact with either by email, telephone or during the interactive lecture session. I look forward to complete the advanced level stage of my course.

Excellent compliance-course and everything related to it both for beginners and professionals with experience.

The course proved relevant from the moment the working manuals were up loaded, to the last minutes of the final assessment interview. I was able to implement the learning immediately during the progression of the learning, which demonstrated the practical value of its subject content. The tutors were all excellent, with insightful opinions/perspectives - providing further avenues for research and enhancing the articulation of the subject matter.
Having continued access to the online virtual classes proved very useful - with a very simple and user friendly portal.
Guidance notes and additional reading references also opened up a new web of research paths.
The Admin staff were also very helpful and responsive.
Cannot over emphasize just how good the course was and I would recommend anyone in the industry to take the opportunity to sign up for it.

I can only say good things about this program! I'm glad to have taken it and I do feel like my my knowledge of everything Compliance has improved after this course.

There's only one thing that I'd suggest and is to improve the review times of the tests, waiting for more than a month seems a little excessive. But overall, just great!

Overall the course for the Ad Cert in Reg Compliance was useful and the content was sufficiently educational, but the seminars were basically reading the course materials aloud.

Furthermore, the assignment questions were fairly vague and a significant number of students were confused about what to include in their answers. The feedback students received to queries was not helpful and did not provide clarity which is required for a course which costs £2k plus.

The online learning possibility provides flexibility to professionals already having a hectic times. The training is well structured with a simple but really resourceful course guide. The links provided for additional reading in the guide are excellent for deepening knowledge in the anti-corruption area. The additional reading provides all necessary material which an anti-corruption professional would otherwise have to research extensively before studying. The case examples provide a practical overview of anti-corruption. The podcasts which come with the programme make it lively. The ICA programme also allows mock/self-assessment at any point, which allows the student for a proper evaluation before taking the final assessment.As a whole, I would rate the content of the ICA Specialist Certificate in Anti-Corruption Programme as insightful. Applying the principles learned in the programme lies on the student. I would highly recommend it to professionals in the AC field.

Very clear and interesting learning material. Online help is available if needed. I recommend the Certificate of Compliance for anyone who wants to get in touch with the subject.

I have joined one of ICA Advance courses and it was an eye opener to wide array of opportunities to learn and grow.

Really disappointing experience on the International Diploma for Anti Money Laundering. Would advise to save the almost £4k course fee and go elsewhere, because you do not get the content, teaching, or support you would expect.

Firstly, the course is mostly self-lead, meaning that you are referring to a (frequently outdated) course manual. This is supplemented by four virtual classroom sessions that are high-level summaries of these relevant chapters. When asked in-depth questions about particular subject matters, tutors would often defer and give generalised responses. There is the sense that most of the teaching staff, whilst experienced, are not able to confidently talk from experience. Most of the content you pay for can be found online for free. I'm not sure where the course fees go.

The most disappointing aspect of the course was the marking and the inconsistency of the grading used for students. I was on a cohort that had students of varying experience, both academically and professional, and was surprised at how many shared the same experience as me. The diploma is promoted as the equivalent of a final-year undergraduate degree, however the marking does not reflect this at all.

Our cohort were often perplexed at some of the individual feedback given in the marking, with being penalised for not mentioning topics which were not relevant to the question asked. There's conflicting advice given - the documented guidance advises you to answer the question, and not bring in irrelevant topics to your responses, but often myself and fellow students were penalised for not providing enough breadth, when we had focused in-depth on the specific question asked (which is what you're expected to do at undergraduate level).

This issue was raised so frequently across my cohort that the president of the ICA booked a session with us to discuss the matter. The tone of this conversation was unsettling - though he meant well, his advice was often contradictory (answer the precise question and keep your work succinct, but also make sure you go to lengths to define basic terms which take up your word count). The underlying message was to really tackle the question asked and give an engaged response - just like at degree level. When challenged by a PHD student on the course that the marking feedback did not match the quality or consistency of an undergraduate course, the president did not take this on board. At points the conversation became quite heated, and there were a lot of interjections on both sides. Not really something you'd expect to see happen on an online course.

Some of the marking issues were identified by the exam board, and students were awarded a five mark boost on one of the papers due to a vague exam question. However, further results feedback followed the same pattern. At this point, it became clear to me that attempting to follow any piece of advice would not lead to a definite outcome.

What's concerning is that it's a 9 month course, but you're very rarely asked for feedback on your course experience. It's only at the end of the course that you're asked to fill in a feedback form, and at this point, you're unlikely to give anything very precise. I get the sense that most of my cohort aired frustration in some form, but there's a worrying unwillingness to do anything substantial about it.

Overall, if you feel obliged to pay £4k to get this course on your CV, go ahead. If you're looking for a genuinely engaging learning environment, look elsewhere.

Some useful content but the resources were poorly written and structured making it difficult to take it on board. The exam (and mock) also contained wrong answers and there was lack of clarity in other questions.

Did my diploma in financial crime prevention before the pandemic and it was fantastic. Really great course, excellent resources and very bright and engaging teachers. Would highly recommend.

My company bought me two courses together but in course login part I could not see documents and materials which I want to prepare to exam.

CRM do not reply me back and also do not solve my problem.

Overall, a positive experience. The online discussions were useful. Course material is easy to understand. Clear communication from ICA and regular updates on technical issues when the platform was switched. Prompt responses to questions as well.
Would appreciate if a pdf version of the course notes were available so that it can be read offline. Had some issues loading the small flip cards or "hotspots" which could have easily be done in dot points in pdf format.
