iRG Repair Group is an independent network of vehicle accident repair centres and bodyshops serving customers across South Wales and Herefordshire. Our locations are in Cardiff, Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend, Newport and Hereford. Reviews on this Trustpilot profile may relate to customer experiences at any of these six iRG repair centres. We repair accident-damaged cars, vans and light commercial vehicles for private motorists, insurance companies, fleet operators and business customers. From minor dents, scratches and paint damage to extensive body and structural repairs, our trained technicians use modern equipment and approved repair methods to restore vehicles safely and professionally. Our Cardiff centre is approved for Stellantis brands—including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Leapmotor, Peugeot and Vauxhall—as well as BYD and Volkswagen Group vehicles. Hereford is approved for Ford and BYD repairs, while Merthyr Tydfil is a Nissan-approved accident repair centre. Bridgend is an NFU Mutual Select Repairer, and Pontypridd specialises in accident and body repairs for vans and light commercial vehicles. Services available across our network include vehicle accident and body repairs, insurance repairs, diagnostics, aluminium and fibreglass repairs, four-wheel alignment, tyre replacement, alloy wheel refurbishment, glass replacement and express same-day repairs. Available services and manufacturer approvals vary by location. Our teams aim to make the repair process as straightforward as possible, keeping customers informed from the initial assessment through to completion. Car Repair.

Had my car repaired after an accident. People were very professional and kept me informed on a daily basis. Picked up my car without any hesitation. Very efficient when I picked up my car.

Very helpful people

Very helpful people. This is the second time I have used IRG and I would recommend them to anyone. They do a great job !!

Absolutely shocking experience!

My car went here from my insurance company after someone had crashed their car into the back of mine while I was stationary. The back bumper had all snapped off and there was a horrible squeaking noise and cluncking noise.Everything went smooth I had a courtesy car arranged the next day by enterprise and 3 days later irg picked up my car. 3 weeks later I had a phone call to say the car was done. Went to go pick it up and the back bumper was my old back bumper that had noticeably been rammed back onto the car, the bumper was not on properly at all and that was very noticeable! It also still had scratches all over the back so it was quite obvious they hadn’t even painted the scratches! That squeaking and clunking that the car was deemed dangerous to drive over was also still there! So we took the car back. Spoke to the manager who claimed the back bumper had a clip put on to the bumper to hold it in place (it looked absolutely awful) and we exclaimed about the squeaking and cluncking noise as that was really worrying me and I’m pregnant bear in mind! I then have a call a week later to say the whole back bumper had to be replaced due to all the clips being snapped. SO WHY WAS MY CAR HANDED BACK TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Moving on, I then pick it up the second time after they’d finally fixed the bumper and resprayed the car. Low and behold the squeaking noise is still there and had not been addressed at all! They didn’t even speak to me about any of the repairs. Just let the poor reception lady deal with it who was very friendly and helpful may I add.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a garage! For an accident and damages that were not my fault! My car is now back in a trusted garage of my choice having to have new shock absorbers as they had snapped and a brand new reverse light as not even that was checked! My car is still out of use and broke after it coming to this company for repairs all paid for my by insurance and they couldn’t even be bothered to fix it or communicate with me! Just a warning to all those who they are likely to take for granted to those who are either younger or don’t know much about cars. The stuff they tried to get away with and would’ve if I didn’t take my step dad with me! Absolutely disgusting

Excellent car repairers

Excellent car repairers . Fantastic paint work .Helpful, polite . Open till 6pm . Best I’ve seen for insurance work having only had this one major accident.
Thank-you so much for being there for me when my mobility Insurance wasn’t .

IRG did a great job repairing my car

IRG did a great job repairing my car, including paintwork and a tyre replacement. They were quick, communicative, and professional throughout. My car looks as good as new—highly recommended!
