Very good private 3-day car transfer service from Jaipur then on to Agra, Orccha and Khajuraho with stops where we wanted in the middle and full freedom to follow our own schedule. The driver was Vijay, very polite and responsible. The agency also provided good communications and competitive price.

My wife was recommended this company and Ramesh by a close friend who used them for their India tours last year. What a perfect recommendation! Our driver Monu was very experienced and took my family of four around Dehli, Jaipur, Fathepur Sikri and Agra, with various English speaking guides at these locations (pre-organised by Ramesh). Mr Ramesh was very professional from the beginning and responsive throughout. The whole Golden Triangle tour was well organised with guides in every place. Communication was not a problem as all the guides spoke good English.
Our driver Monu was with us for a whole week. He is an excellent driver who is very familiar with the local roads and places of interest. He was friendly and understood our needs very quickly. Monu speaks good English and he took wonderful care of us. We will gladly use this company again during our next trip to India.

Beware. Since writing this review, after seven weeks and admission of our suffering, IBCD provided a little more compensation and demanded I remove the entire review. ICBD threatened legal action if I did not remove the review. Showing no care about the impact of adding to the stress and suffering of my partner already admitted, Mr Meena then used private and personal emergency contact information to contact our family and made threats of legal action against their sister/daughter. This is a deeply concerning, unacceptable, upsetting, appalling breach of confidence and trust. It is unprofessional in the extreme and I asked the IBCD cease these communications to my partners sister (who has two small children). Instead Mr Meena (IBCD) ramped up stress on family and us by sending new multiple messages mentioning legal threats to my partners sister by using again the confidential emergency contact information given to IBCD. Then in an unstable concerning message, Mr Meena said that my partner told his driver she was leaving me!?
For IBCAD, a three day guided touring program was agreed for Delhi and Agra. The owner/manager Ramesh Meena from IBCAD was repeatedly advised and acknowledged the very great importance of this program being perfect as I was to propose to my partner. Mr Meene not only failed, but by admission did not appoint a guide on day 1 when we got a driver with poor English to take us to the most confronting Old Delhi and without guidance or advice, my partner suffered severe panic attacks. The driver dumped us in a car park and harassing crowd of beggars and aggressive people. He pointed to crowded steps saying go there to the mosque. No assistance with direction, entry or guidance for safety. We did not even know what we were seeing. This is not just appalling but insensitive..This absolutely appalling lack of attention and management continued as IBCAD let a driver be responsible for our guides, which he forgot to brief or send tour itinerary. When we picked up a guide they said the itinerary just handed to them was not possible. IBCAD approved the itinerary. We came close to missing the Taj Mahal having to rush on all stops or be too late for TM. My partner suffered from the panic attack for more than a week . What should be ring alarm bells is that this disregard that was known by IBCAD. They even managed to give the wrong advice on entry charges causing one particular situation of stress and conflict. IBCAD offered a meagre compensation less that $30 for a program of over $430 that was unsafe and undelivered, saying unbelievably, "they did not want to affect their profit". Ramesh states more compensation should be given, but when asked about this, he explains his profit margin !! I suggest you do not use India By Car And Driver (IBCAD) and find a professional guide (through the numerous websites) and they will arrange transport. Much less expensive and assured professional attention. If you read reviews and think that I am just complaining for no reason.....here is the email content I got from IBCAD.

You trusted me with what you clearly explained was a very special and meaningful journey, and I gave you my personal assurance that everything would be taken care of. I failed to live up to that promise. For that, I take full responsibility.
The first day in Old Delhi should never have unfolded the way it did. Sending you into such an intense environment without a professional guide—especially on your first day in India and after a long journey—was a serious mistake. I fully acknowledge how frightening and overwhelming that must have been, particularly for your partner, and I am deeply sorry for the panic and distress it caused. No guest should ever feel unsafe, unsupported, or abandoned in our care.
You are also right about the lack of preparation with the guides in Delhi and Agra. They should have been properly assigned, briefed, and fully aware of your itinerary well in advance. The confusion, rushing, and stress—especially surrounding such an important moment as visiting the Taj Mahal—were the direct result of our operational failures. Instead of a calm, memorable experience, you were put under pressure, and that is something I truly regret.
You are absolutely right—this is not how a professional organization should care for its guests.
I am sincerely sorry that my decisions, and the lack of oversight on my part, spoiled such an important part of your holiday and left you with a negative impression of India.
I also agree that this situation deserves more than the small amount currently withheld, and I am committed to discussing fair compensation with you.

Our family of 11 (2 grandparents, 4 adults, 5 grandkids) had an excellent experience using India by Car and Driver. Our driver / tour guide Monu was outstanding: friendly, helpful, and an excellent driver. The itinerary created by Ramesh was as also excellent, with outstanding hotels and great local tour guides for the various places we visited (Taj, Fatehpur Sikri, Ranthambore Nat'l Park, etc.) Ramesh also created our itinerary in Mumbai for 3 days.

All in all, India by Car and Driver provides excellent service. I would highly recommend using them!

From the initial advice / booking to drop off at the airport the whole experience was faultless

Very responsive and flexible for individual needs (e.g., some members of our group arriving later, needing to go earlier). Our driver was absolutely wonderful, drove very well and was super friendly. Would fully recommend!

We used India Car and Driver for our recent trip to the Golden Triangle in India. Without a doubt, they helped make our trip to India a success. They were recommended to us mr a friend who had used the service a few years ago. The owner Mr Ramesh is very prompt and organized. He communicates via WhatsApp and phone and is a pleasure to work with. We did not have any miscommunication or issues with transport during our visit. He even arranged a car and driver for us in Amritsar. For the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur trip we hired a tempo even though we were just 4 adults. It was in very good condition and spacious. Our chauffeur Mr Manmohan was one of the best drivers we have had. He is extremely polite, always on time and very helpful. He is a safe driver most importantly. He made our trip worry free and we are grateful. We highly recommend this car and driver service.

India Car and Driver provided us a perfect 15 day itinerary through Rajasthan and we could not be more pleased with our fabulous driver Nemi, the wonderful places we stayed and the sightseeing both on and off the tourist trail. First, the attention to detail and the always prompt response from Ramesh was spectacular. We travel a lot and Ramesh was the most attentive organizer we’ve worked with to customize our plans, our lodging suggestions and preferences.

Now the best part - Nemi, our driver and “team partner” made our trip amazing and such fun! First - extremely safe and patient driver, knew where everything was and showed us some off the beaten path surprises that were awesome! Plus a tremendous man who truly cared about our trip and was fun, kind, interesting and just a pleasure to ride with every day!

We are still gushing about our excellent trip and if you need a car and guide in Rajasthan- look no further. There truly is a reason the reviews are all 5 - they earn them through excellent service!

Our driver, Raju, spoke well and was very trustworthy. Hotels very good. Only issue was the guides who always want to take you to buy carpets etc in expensive places. Just say no.

We planned a two week trip with India by Car and Driver, and had a wonderful experience. They were really communicative during the planning and enabled us to do everything we wanted. We planned road trips and three internal flights, with transits, all of which were promptly done and no problems at all. We went to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodphur, Udaipur, then flew to Varannasi, flew to Goa and flew to Mumbai. The driver Suri was wonderful in the northern parts. Drivers were basically taxis in the other locations, but that was fair enough as only one town in each, and all planned perfectly. An amazing experience that would not have been anywhere near as good without them. We left our valuables in a safe once and they fixed it all by going by bus to pick them up and arrange to meet us elsewhere en route to return them all for us, great service. Thank you!
