THANK YOU so much to the TWO Food Panda delivery drivers who arrived at my family's home address in one car for the flawlessly fast and friendly home delivery of the absolute delivery Springvale Gold Leaf restaurant food to us, my patents, sister and I are so grateful to them for that and for bringing our food to us perfectly in tact and piping hot! When they arrived, each driver took one bag full of takeaway food our and each handed it to me so carefully and courteously to me.
According to the receipts attached to the food, the order number was #6451 1118 and the order was paid for and placed at 7:14pm, arriving in such a timely fashion. Both delivery drivers were so nice and friendly.
My parents, sister and I can't thank these two absolutely amazing Hungry Panda delivery drivers enough for doing an absolutely incredible job delivering our food which was actually to celebrate my parents 45th wedding anniversary on 10/08/2025. These two delivery drivers deserve every reward and acknowledgement from Hungry Panda and all their customers, my family and I included. We are so grateful and honoured to them for the major part they played in making my parents 45th wedding anniversary celebration a tremendous success! Thank you so much to them and thank you so much for letting them know all I said, it's all deeply appreciated!

Une expérience très mauvaise. Le commerçant ne cessait de retarder la commande, et le système affichait constamment un changement de livreur, repoussant sans cesse l’heure estimée de préparation et de livraison. J’ai contacté le service client pour signaler mon incompréhension, et on m’a répondu qu’un livreur venait d’être envoyé sur place pour vérifier la situation. En tant que client, cela signifie clairement : 'Très bien, j’attends que le service client me fasse un retour après la vérification.' Mais à la place, le service client n’a rien communiqué et a tout simplement fermé la fenêtre de discussion. Alors qu’ils savaient que le problème n’était pas résolu et que j’attendais un retour, ils ont fermé unilatéralement le canal de communication. Ce n’est absolument pas professionnel pour un service client. Par la suite, on m’a également dit qu’il n’existait aucun canal permettant de transmettre un retour directement au responsable du service. Il n’y a aucun moyen de déposer une réclamation.

A terrible experience. The vendor kept delaying the order, and the system kept showing changes in the delivery person, constantly pushing back the estimated preparation and delivery time. I contacted customer service to express my concerns, and they said they had just assigned a rider to check what was going on. As a customer, that clearly means, 'Okay, I’ll wait for the feedback after the rider checks.' But instead, customer service gave no follow-up and simply closed the chat window. They knew the issue wasn’t resolved and that I was waiting for a response, yet they unilaterally shut down communication. That’s completely unprofessional for customer service. Later, I was also told that there was no channel to escalate feedback directly to the department head—there was no way to file a complaint at all.
Use ubereats or doordash instead
Orders take an hour to deliver at any time of day no matter the distance so when your food arrives it is guaranteed already cold or barely warm. This may be because delivery drivers or taking an excess of orders at once.

0 of I could. Drivers accept too many jobs at a time so you end up getting cold spoilt food. Waited over an hour from food being ready for collection for the driver to driver everywhere else but here. Customer service is useless

We didnot know that Hungry Panda Australia charges $490 for initial set up cost for restaurant. Above 25%-30% order value 😥. What a suprised

Very bad customer service for not taking care of your orders. It happens 3 times I ordered a meal at 9pm and courier suddenly disappears after I been waiting till 10:45pm so at time time all the restaurant are closed and you won’t have your dinner

I placed an order through HungryPanda and was overcharged without clear explanation.
Customer service claimed I had signed up for a membership, but I never agreed to or authorized that.
I requested a refund and cancellation, but they refused to resolve the issue.

Most times the delivery times are 90mims plus which means the food is sitting in the car for at least an hour. Not good enough.
Possible connection with fraud
My daughter downloaded Hungry panda app as promted by staff to receive free bubble tea. Her and her friend has both done it at the same time. The next day they both received fraud alert from bank, about unauthorised payments, all together about £90 for my daughter and £600 for her friend.
We strongly believe that the app has something to do with it.

Ordering from a mobile phone is terrible, the app is awful. Names of food items are abbreviated, not even sure what is on the menu. Why is there no option for pickup? Checkout experience would have been bad in 2004, let alone 2024.
Add an address, is this your address? Wait I forgot your address can you enter it again? What is an address? Save your address? Now which address do you want to select, maybe the only one that you spent the last 10 minutes trying to enter into the app?
Enter your card info and it automatically saves the card info, no other options. As if I could totally trust this horrible app to secure my personal details. Hope I remember to go back and delete it as soon as my order arrives.
No refund for buying moldy coconuts online
The fresh coconut I purchased online was found to be completely moldy after unpacking, and the shell was full of green mold. After contacting the customer service for a full refund, I was refused and only offered a refund of a coconut and a coupon of 10 pounds. I had already bought such a quality product in their store, and they also offered me the coupon to use it in their store in the future. Originally, overseas students shopping on the Chinese online shop is to get a trace of home warmth, did not expect here not only did not get fair treatment, even more difficult to protect their rights.
The worst website to order from
The worst website to order from. I ordered bubble tea over £50 worth- placed order at 7:45pm took over three hours to arrive at 10:45- driver and hungry panda said they attempted delivery- Despite the fact that I had to send live location to driver via WhatsApp to located me, despite leaving near a bus stop. Three of my drinks were spilled and undrinkable, I reported the incident and attached pictures, till date no refund. Shame on you!! Please save yourself the hassle. I wished I’ve seen this awful reviews before placing an order.
This company is a disgrace
This company is a disgrace. Their drivers/riders have absolutely no regard for the road rules. I didn’t see one stop at a red light in Melb CBD, and I saw several near misses with pedestrians. Is it going to take someone (else) to get killed before the police or council act?

ordered food only for the delivery driver to delay delivering such by 40 minutes late and cold ( i spent £32 and they offered me a £2 coupon back though i had to HAGGLE for £5 which is disgusting)
Terrible Service
I paid 126 AUD for 5 portions of food, but the restaurant never received my order. It turns out that Hungry Panda didn't place my order at all, despite taking my payment. I tried contacting them multiple times to resolve the issue, but they never responded to my calls or complaints.
This level of service is unacceptable. Not only was I charged for food that I never received, but the company also failed to provide any support or resolution. I will not be using Hungry Panda again, and I would advise others to avoid it as well if they value reliability and customer service.
