Avoid this company at all costs.

From the very beginning it was nothing but high-pressure sales and empty promises. We were told they could save us a significant amount on our business rates, but despite multiple attempts they delivered absolutely nothing.

Once they have your money, don't expect the service or results they promised. We were left out of pocket with no savings whatsoever and felt completely misled by the whole process.

If you're considering using them, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, they made big promises they simply couldn't deliver.

HS Consultancy noting but spam calls. i tell them to take my name off there call list. I must get about 8 calls a week of this company, Also i can never get a word in on the call. noting but pests. I feel like i get pressured into making the appoipment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

This company charges you up front for survey work then makes incomplete submissions to HMRC at the last minute which are rejected. Reasons for rejection include: “it did not meet the legal requirements for a Challenge submission” and “information was either missing or not correctly provided”
Their communication is woeful. They missed numerous appointments, nobody is ever available to speak when you call, they never call back and they hardly ever answer emails.
Over the 4 years we have been dealing with them they have achieved zero savings so we are actually worse off than if we had done nothing at all!

I have no option to give 1 star as there is no option for zero stars.
Communication was free flowing and regular from HS Consultancy until we paid for the survey, since that point 14 months ago we have received no communication freely and constantly have to chase multiple times before anyone will even respond, unfortunately then they information provided isn't useful. Would not recommend

We have only begun using HS Consultancy and already got an interim refund for our rates. They have been nothing short of excellent from the beginning keeping us informed constantly i highly recommend

This company I would definitely recommend as they work above and beyond expectations. I have been with this company and they have never let us down. Whatever help we need this company provides.

First class service. Business rates are ridiculously complicated, but Arpan and his team helped me to firstly understand the system and then they achieved good reductions to our premises' rateable value keeping me updated all the way through the process. Unlike other companies I have used there is always someone at the end of a phone to patiently discuss and explain the process and the current state of play.

Came with thier flashy information folder. Promised the world took our money then submitted a survey and report that did not meet Govenment guidelines basicly a 5 year old could have done better. This was rejected by Gov.uk. They had a timelimit to appeal which again said they would then surprise surprise they ghosted us 10 weeks before the appeal. We now have an additional 10K increase in our rate.

Very professional. HS also communicate fully which is refreshing.

Cold caller. We are TPS registered, so if this was a proper, credible business, they would not be bothering us.

Had my suspicions so I googled the director and the newly appointed director Karlo/ Carlo Hulston and rates now i see why I’m in the situation I am with them please do your due diligence

HS Consultancy Group - a company specialising in challenging Valuation Office Agency rateable values.

Has not delivered what they stated they would do, despite being paid £3000 in fees, which was paid in May, but they did not raise a challenge on our business until November, which was rejected by VOA as was a further challenge by HSCG, as being out of time and incomplete .

POSSIBLE SCAM

HS Consultancy initially got us a rate refund of a few thousand pounds. Part of this refund was used up in paying HS Consultancy and now as a result of their work we have had a visit from the rating office and have received a hefty bill of £20,000 and increased rates going forward. We couldn't get HS Consultancy to speak to us on the phone or to reply to emails, so we posted a bad review on Google. As a result of this they got in contact and supposedly tried to get back on the case and get our rates sorted. Now 2 years later we are back in the same situation where they won't respond to any emails and we have got nowhere! I would avoid using this company at all costs. And before they try and say I am not a client of theirs I am a director of Envoprint Ltd!

Contacted me in regard to looking at our rates. Looked interesting, so invited them in to do the work and liaise with the local council.

Had to pay a couple of grand up front. this has been going on for about two years. I get local government goes slow, but these are far better for non disclosure.

Anyway, after telling me I have very good case, it keeps getting rejected. I have contacted them a couple of time, but I seem to have been ghosted

Repeated nuisance phone calls. We are on the telephone preference service and should receive no cold calls at all. Despite promises to 'take our number off their list' and complaints from the TPS to them they keep calling July, January and February so far.
