Howdens - Scarborough Anmeldelser 

We had our new kitchen from Howdens.The design was done by Mark Jackson and the fitting done by Lee Drydale. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the finished job is outstanding.Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Good staff , got what I wanted , all good

The kitchen itself is of good quality, with only a few missing parts that we were able to just sort from bits in the van instead of going back to the store.

However, Howdens Scarborough used a third party to deliver the kitchen and had next to no interest in dealing with our issues afterwards.

Delivery was complete by 1 person who was unable to get the larger appliances into the house leaving them outside and unsecured until I got home.

Howdens then tried to bill £150 for delivery which was never mentioned to us before hand (which was quickly waived once we brought it up)

However, during delivery our driveway was visibly damaged.

I contacted howdens scarborough, howdens customer service and the delivery driver and no one cared to assist in the matter.

The delivery driver lied about organising a builder and the site manager to arrive 2 weeks from booking, but when the day came no one came or knew about it.

After weeks of contact I managed to get a meeting with a builder and local manager, the builder provided was very fair and agreed with my statements regarding the drive.

The delivery company then offered to pay half of the bill (accepting accountability in my eyes) but the bill was double my quote…

I asked if he would provide me the finances for half his builders invoice and I would get the drive repaired and he refused…

Overall
The quality of product from howdens is good, and my driveway is a rare fluke. But the level of care and follow up is poor if you have a non standard issue.

Well impressed with the neat & tidy condition of nick’s warehouse at the Scarborough branch.service spot on too.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Mick the manager at Scarborough Howdens, I approached him to see if he could donate a small Easter egg for a local charity raffle, without hesitation not only did he agree but he went above all expectations and had a whole box full of artisan handmade chocolate eggs and gifts made especially for the charity. These were mind blowing and took centre stage at the fundraising event, people were buying more tickets just to win these masterpieces. The charity raised more money last year because of Mick and Howdens kindness!!
Not only do they sell kitchens, bedrooms and flooring, they give back to the community too, take a huge pat on the back for this Mick, you are a true legend 🤩

from start to finish these guys delivered perfect customer service! there was no pressure and the choice was great. Mick the manager showed us the displays and introduced us to Mark the designer, he cam to our house and measured up, we went back into the store and had a chat about what we liked, Mick was there again and we had a chat like we were old friends, such a super bunch o friendly people with no pressure on us, if I was to buy another kitchen, or bedroom it will be Howdens Scarborough every time, thank you to Mick and the team for making us very happy.

From choosing the kitchen Mark who designed kitchen was very helpful and changed design until we were happy .
Lee Drysdale the joiner was excellent always on time very efficient as were his team Tom electrician ,Alan plumber and plasterer .
Highly recommend this company and also they list of professionals who did the work .

Quick turnaround and great staff

Mark at Howdens Scarborough went above and beyond to help us.
Few small problems which were sorted immediately.
Everyone at the branch was very helpful.
Will be going back again for units for the utility room which is the next project.

products look excellent, good value but once installed will then be able to give a better review.

They are all very helpful staff at the Scarborough branch of Howdens in dealing with any enquiries or orders from Liam on the counter through to Ian in the warehouse and of course the pies and fresh coffee help
