A very efficient operation
I did not believe that Howdens could deliver within 10 days so actually had to ask them to delay delivery to allow us to get on with the floor. The items arrived
early on the designated day after a 1 hour prior phone call from the driver. All the kit was present and correct. We had an issue with the tower units which needed to be routed to take the metal margin strips. My carpenters were unfamiliar with this and preferred the tower Larder units which have the inset ready cut out at the factory. I asked to swap out the tower units and two replacements arrived early next day. I have to say that the logistical operation Howdens run is first class. I am guessing that their business model has reconfigured to take account of sticky European borders and covid.
