My experience of Howdens Coventry Lockhurst Lane is such an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE that I have decided to keep my old kitchen that has lasted for decades and saved myself any further despair. Thank goodness I did not order my kitchen from these cowboys as they made me realise how extremely poor they were from the start.

Please train your staff to check the stock in the warehouse not just looking on a screen, machines only know what humans program into them. Sitting on a chair telling customers lies is not the way forward for any company.
I have gone between three of your outlets to get two drawer units and still haven’t managed to fulfill my order. I don’t know how you intend to maintain a customer base going forward as this is not the first time this kind of thing has occurred, many of the fitters I have spoken to recently have had complaints about lack of interest by the shop staff whereas the warehouse people are the complete opposite, always helpful and obliging.
I’m just glad Calum is back in Coventry, just a shame he is on holiday over Christmas.

They tried on several occasions to fix it but unsuccessful the manager at the Lockhurst Lane branch was really helpful along with the counter staff replaced it with a New one. Great customer service and a big thank you to all who helped. Well done Howdens 👏

If not the worst Company(definitely the worst), on of the worst. Their communication is rubbish, their understand is rubbish their customer service is t9tally rubbish. The only thing they're good at, is ripping off people. They purposely send emails to a wrong email so customer don't reply and then they overcharge ypu interest rates, claim to the Court and charge a court fees. Just purposely and because they want to. They don't post reminders, they don't call t9 remind for a payment, they don't even respect the agreements of a credit that they approve. Strongly don't use and we are not suggesting this company.

We brought a Howdens kitchen with Lamona appliances 8 months ago. The combi oven fan failed. The first attempt to repair it, the company called a company who did not deal with combi ovens which I only found out when I called asking where the engineer was. Second attempt, engineer brought wrong part, third attempt engineer called to say part was damaged, fourth attempt engineer called to say he had wrong part. Still waiting on repair. Disappointed and angry is an understatement. Spent a lot of money on what feels like second rate equipment. Would have gone to Wren if I'd have known. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!!

APPALLING! Plagued with issues from day 1, including:
- Quotes that weren't itemised so you don't know how much ach element costs so you can price compare (despite several requests for an itemised quote);
- When an itemised quote finally did materialise, items had suddenly appeared at an additional cost that hadn't been there previously;
Then came the hard sell — “this price only available if you book in the next two weeks” Ugh!
- Designers leaving half way through the project and handing over to someone who hasn't got a clue;
- Incorrect items sent (chrome fitting instead of brass);
- Informing me that they don't have the items I requested MONTHS ago (explaining why the wrong items were included in the delivery);
- Wine coolers that--when installed--are too narrow to open, remove shelves, or hold a bottle of wine (?! Seriously ?!);
- Items specified during the design phase missing altogether from the order;
The brass “hinges” supplied, were neither brass, nor hinges, but overpriced decorative TAT that were completely unnecessary and are again flawed by design - they actually prevent the cupboard doors opening and closing properly;
- "Full-assembled" units arriving in so many dismantled pieces I lost count and the fitters had to add extra time to put it all together.
Why did I use them? For reasons unknown, they were recommended by the fitters.
However, I would NEVER recommend Howdens in a million years. If you're looking for an honest, transparent, reliable kitchen company, KEEP LOOKING!
