I used Howard's to let my property in Lowestoft. I asked when I went in for information how much notice I should give to take back management as my husband had a heart attack and I couldn't manage it myself temporarily. I was told I could take back management without notice. I went ahead explaining I didn't have a printer and wanted the contracts in paper format. They were never sent and reading small print on my phone was impossible. When I tried to take over my property I found that in the very small print I had to pay one month's rent plus vat to take it back. I was furious as there had been no house checks done by Howard's as they had agreed under full management. The carpets were ruined. They threatened my tenant even after I took control back clearly in writing and I told had them clearly they were not to have any more to do with it. Finally they totally lost my keys. They sent me a £100 bill for a resume of what they had charged me in fees for a year to. Definitely do not use and if you do really read every word of the small print, check your own property and be prepared to have your tenant worried for money not owed. Also to have to change all the locks when they loose your keys! Don't go there.

Highly recommended. I have just purchased a house via Howards Great Yarmouth. Daniel Denney, Hayley.Burton-Pye, Carina and the team have all been absolutely brilliant from moment I started viewing properties to having a offer accepted through to completion. This wasn't a straightforward purchase as there were a few very frustrating obstacles due to other matters not related to them. They did everything they could to help. This team were super helpful no matter who answered the phone they all knew what was happening and gave frequent updates with phone calls and emails. Always professional and always extremely helpful. I would definitely purchase or sell via them again. Thank you all very much for facilitating the purchase of our dream home.

Beware Howards Estate Agents are untrustworthy do anything to get a quick sale repeatedly acting on their own behalf unprofesional and totally out of order are sharks only interested in killing off to get hands on your property proceeds. Dont be taken in by sales talk are not to be trusted ...

Went to the gorleston office meet Georgia really friendly and professional made us feel at ease , nothing to much trouble would highly recommend

Just pulled out of buying property through Lowestoft branch, dont support buyers at all, poor communication and have not even contacted us to ask if they can help resolve issues that they are fully aware of, or to see if they can assist with finding more suitable property, GO ELSEWHERE if possible

Unbelievable!!!! Phoned and explained I was looking at a property on-line, but was unhappy at the price as the lay out clearly required remodelling. Called "sir" even though my voice is clearly female. I hung up.

Just wanted to say that anybody looking to shift a house in the Lowestoft area need look no further than the team at Howards. The advice, attention to detail and market knowledge provided was exemplary. We used two other Lowestoft estate agents (who were shockingly awful) before turning to Howards, and to say the difference in service level was a million miles apart is an epic understatement. The upshot is that, thanks to Howards, my partner and I have been able to secure the house of our dreams. While the whole team deserves a pat on the back, a special big up should rightiy go to the Manager, Mike Smith, for his efforts in assisting us.

I would definitely recommend Howards and in particular the Gorleston-on-Sea office. Jacquie Skipper, Head of Property Management, and Lynne Lawne, Property Manager, were more than helpful. We rented a property and they both were efficient, friendly and extremely reliable. The communication was always prompt and on point. There was never a bad surprise and everything was always clear.

Definitely recommend Howards in Great Yarmouth! While a bit more expensive than their competitors, we decided to use them to sell our house as they were way more 'upbeat'. All the staff were easy to talk to and very helpful throughout. Carina gets a special mention for her never-ending enthusiasm, persistence and excellent negotiating skills. Tried to view 3 different properties that we were very interested in. The first we got a call to say there was a problem with the footings but despite the fact that we are in a position to make repairs this was not established by them and no viewing offered. The second time, we asked for an appointment but heard no more. The third time we were told the vendor would show us around, we turned up 5 minutes early but no one showed. Called them to be told they were sending someone to show us around. No one turned up so we rang and cancelled as it was a hot day and standing around outside was too much. Then received a call to ask why we had not turned up. Incredible inefficiency and lack of communication. Hoping the next house we like is up with a different agent.
