Bought a Scooter for my Son - Issue with the back wheel and he had managed to break the brake lever - seamless client service experience, Scooter was collected and fixed and return - couldn't fault the process - CS Team Catherine and Joyce where very helpful - We live outside of Auckland
I know Honey Whale get a fair few bad reviews but i started out with a t4a scooter, absolutely loved it. But i have just recently upgraded to a t8. Omg that thing gets me up the hills awesomely. I'm not a light rider so needed something with a good weight limit, and I found it!
The few times i had to email them, (unrelated to the scooter) they responded really fast. 5 stars from me, and just in case no one believes my review, I'm in no way affiliated with Honey Whale, just a happy customer.
Brought the M2 Max on 15/08/26 for our 8yr old son. After 6 days of normal use the rear tyre had worn out and punctured. Seems to be combination of poor design (rear wheel locks up under normal braking) and poor quality (tyre). Son’s friend also got one and same failure on his also. I had read the reviews but honestly expected my boy would get more than 6 days use before a repair. Have ordered replacement tyres from Storm Rides, hopefully they are better quality.
The Honeywhale B20 ebike is great value. Have not had a single issue with it. It's well engineered and built. This bike is seriously great fun to whizz around on. I've bolted a box on the carrier and it's so handy for popping to shops. I regularly do a long ride on it too. Comfortable and smooth. Highly recommended.
I got the T4A, I don't really like it. It breaks alot, and it sucks the range. The good thing is when it brakes honeywhale sends out parts straight away. I think my scooter is just a scooter issue, not a brand issue. My friend has the E9MaxN and its lasted him great.
I purchased the honey whale e9 max last September since then had multiple issues mainly with the tires replaced them with tubeless tires and still have the issue of rear tire deflating
When it comes to communication honeywhale is bad. Does honeywhale understand NOT all customers enjoy talking to bots???? Be extremely HELPFUL if a human could talk. I have a simple issue and your process is at time lost. NOT EFFECTIVE
Dont buy from them I done 600kms and the tyre rolled off the rim they made me buy a new tyre and chipped my rim repairing it damaged the rubber pad and just shocking to deal with nobody awnsers the phone the website says they open when the shops closed everytime iv been in there customers ate returning there scooters with issues
Don't buy an E9 Max Scooter, or for that matter, any other Honey Whale scooter. The poor workmanship, and constant mechanical problems has caused me no end of grief and expense, not to mention all the time spent trying to repair the bloody thing!

I would not recommend the honey whale e-scooters they are rubbish. We got the H3 model and have had nothing but problems since day 1.
It's advertised as an off road e-scooter but it can't handle gravel, or grass or a footpath with a small Crack in it. Punctured 3 tires. On stones. Constant error codes. It's not easy to fix. 10000 screws to find the battery component for a reset. We couldn't get that far. $90 for a tire change. Because ir can't be done at home.
Absolutely do not waste your money
I bought an escooter with explosion proof tires. Was surprised when I had a puncture about a month ago. To take off either wheel, it is bolted so tight to the point that the tool that unscrews the screws for the backwheel has broken.
Before any of this happened, found customer service to be practically non existent, until I asked for a refund through afterpay. I have spent close to $100 on wrenches and lubricants, but still can't get the front wheel off.
Suggestions: Don't bolt it so tight, proper customer service and have tires that don't get punctures.
I have a US-1 e-bike that will not charge and I have not been able to figure out if it's the charging system in the bike or the charger. I have also tried to contact you so many times with no response that I have no idea where to get the problem fixed. I now have a useless US1 motor e-bike sitting in my in my hallway.
Bought my bike on line. Talked to the company prior, good advice and support unfortunately my bike arrived with a faulty part, awaiting a replacement, will upgrade my experience to 5 stars when the matter is sorted.
