I'd managed to get a fantastic black Friday deal on BT21 merchandise. When I went to collect it, there was a vary large brown box. With another two smaller parcels. I hadn't fully thought out, how big my order would be. I'd done a little shopping. I also have to walk with a stick. The young woman, who was serving me. Offered to unpack my order, to see if she could? Reduce the size. Which I'm happy to say she did. She also gave me a handy tip on where I could buy? A cuddly Red Panda. So Thanks tripled.

The website is easy to use and the customer service is great, I've had no issues with any orders I made and the service offered in the store. Overall a great experience.

I ordered the game in store & was told it would arrive by post in 3 days which it did, Excellent packaging.

Cd's delivered to my local HMV but with one order number but separate/ different types of packaging. Staff were extremely helpful searching though all deliveries to successfully find the second CD.

I ordered an album on line to collect in store. The communication was excellent, the delivery was timed as promised and the collection was slick and straightforward. I always find HMV staff friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. Nothing is too much trouble

Excellent personal service. Not a time wasting courier involved. You order at the HMV store in person or by 'phone you're kept up to date with order progress without being inundated with info and you collect in person. Reduced carbon footprint no special journey involved, routine delivery to store and routine trip to Derbion Centre. Hopefully helping to preserve employment and services in towns and cities which are under severe pressure and easily reached by public transport.

Was very impressed with the overall service staff were helpful and polite I wasn't sure what it was I was looking for but they helped me and ended up with what I wanted and the delivery was very prompt

I was seen by Hannah, she was busy restocking by herself but took the time to help me find a CD that wasn't in store. She sorted out the delivery of it and I got it a few days later as expected.
She gave some good banter, was easy to be around and was a good laugh. To be honest, I haven't met a bad staff member in my local Derby store yet. They're all good fun.
It's one of many reasons I'm glad HMV is still around in the 'download everything' modern world. Not just because I like to own physical media, but because the human interaction element is something I enjoy as well. I hope the higher ups recognise them there for this as well. They seem like a good bunch!
