I placed an order with Heiress Beverly Hills on 11/29 for in-stock items (not marked as pre-order).

Every product page from my order said:
“All orders dispatch within 24–48 hours and ship from the United States.”
The products said (and continue to say) "Selling Fast" and "New Arrival"
Their shipping page adds "Please note, if we are experiencing delays orders can take up to five business days to be processed before being shipped, even if 2 Day Air is selected. "

Worried about the "delays" statement, as I had ordered this for a specific event, I reached out on 11/30 to cancel and was told on 12/1 that was only possible with a store credit. I declined, hoping the clothes would show in time. On 12/2 they said "We'll ship your order as soon as it's back in stock. We appreciate your patience and understanding.". Obviously this raised concern as this was the first time I was hearing that the item wasn't in stock (and I said as much). They then said on 12/3 "We were originally scheduled to receive the new stocks on the 20th, but due to holiday-related delays with our freight partners, the shipment has been pushed back. Because of this, the estimated ship date has been extended to December 6th." In other words, the items were not in stock at the time of ordering, the company was aware of this, and they couldn’t meet their own advertised shipping time.

The FTC explicitly prohibits sellers from soliciting sales unless the sellers have a reasonable basis to expect that they will be able to ship the ordered merchandise within the time stated on the solicitation

Because the delay went beyond what they advertise, I asked to cancel and receive a refund. Instead, I was told (phrased multiple ways):
“We have a consistent policy of offering store credits in lieu of refunds… we are unable to make exceptions to this policy.”

They repeatedly refused a refund and would only offer store credit, even though they failed to ship within the time they promised and I had shared the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, which indicates that I should have received (1) a proactive delay notice seeking consent to the delay, and (2) a cancellation and prompt *refund* if I declined the delay.

As of today (12/7):
1. No shipment notification
2. No cancellation notice
3. No refund
4. Items that I purchased still shown on the website with “24–48 hour” dispatch and in-stock, NOT pre-order. This was the case last week as well.

After looking at other reviews on BBB and elsewhere, this seems to be a pattern: delayed “in stock” orders, refusal to refund, and store-credit-only responses.

I’ve documented everything and filed complaints with both the FTC and my State Attorney General. Given that the business was unwilling to comply directly despite repeated attempts, I've also turned the dispute over to my credit card company to handle.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

I placed a pre-order for a dress scheduled to ship on 07/21. When that date came and went, I contacted customer support and was told there was a “slight delay” with a new ship date of 07/31. That day arrived, and still no shipment—so I reached out again, only to receive the same vague response and yet another delay, this time to 08/15.

It’s now 08/15, and once again, the dress has not shipped. This is my third time having to follow up with customer service. I ordered this specific dress for a specific occasion—my wedding welcome party—and the repeated delays have made that impossible. Each time I inquire, I’m offered a different dress instead, which is not what I purchased or wanted.

If a company is experiencing manufacturer delays on pre-order items, it is their responsibility to proactively inform customers—not force the customer to continually chase updates. They had no problem taking my payment immediately, yet they cannot follow basic business ethics and communicate honestly. I will never order from this brand again and would caution others to do the same unless they are comfortable with repeated delays, poor communication, and zero accountability.

Do not buy from here. Save your money. I had come across Heiress Beverly Hills on TikTok and everything looked amazing. I place an order for two dresses that I needed for a wedding. I ordered the Black strapless colorblock pleated maxi dress and the black draped shoulder maxi dress. I paid for overnight shipping. I only received the black draped shoulder maxi dress. As soon as I received it, I contacted customer service. I was disappointed the quality was very bad, the sizing completely wrong. I reached out to support to return the item and receive a refund and cancel the rest of the order that had not even been shipped. Customer service said that they could only provide a store credit or provide me with a different size of dress. Even for the unshipped dress they weren't willing to provide a refund. Please save your money. This website is a complete scam.

just got a dress that I pre-ordered. their customer service told me they are shifting away from pre-order now and just got a big restock which seems great since most of the complaints are about pre-order. I saw only 1 item on their site is now pre-order and rest is in stock. I was honestly surprised by the quality of the dress when I received it. it was better than I had imagined. will definitely be purchasing another dress soon. was shocked at the quality for the price, really good.

I ordered from heiress and honestly i'm impressed... by far the best quality of fabric i've ordered in this price point (and much higher for that matter). it arrived within 2 days. will be shopping again. I just wish they had more than one model on their website!

I was looking for a dress with lace up back and I found this website. I was first skeptical after reading reviews on this and another websites, but I ended up ordering the dress after finding legit instagram account of a bride wearing the same dress.

They advertise 3-5 business days shipping which is not accurate. It took about 8 days for the dress to be delivered, so I suggest to order the dress ahead of time since what they advertise is not true.

The dress was delivered in a little package and overall I am pretty much happy with the purchase. The material is shiny and thick (sort of Zara/nicer H&M style). It is actually very similar to the material my wedding dress is made of. But honestly, I do not think the dress is worth $300… make sure to read the return policy, since it states that they do not refund - only give store credit. The sizing is pretty much true size. I was little bit between sizes and ordered the smaller size (S). It is tight around my waist, but I think size M would be too loose even with the lace up in the back (my chest is more S size). The dress is still little but sliding down even with the boning, so I have to tie the laces tighter plus I think I will add some sticky textile tape to ensure it stays in place. Also it makes my chest very flat from the side view but from front view the dress looks nice. I think I will try body tape or boombas. Overall, nice dress, but probably not worth $300 with no option for refund.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. It is a scam. They sell all of their items on pre-order so that they don't need to guarantee you will receive your items at ANY point. Then, they offer zero resolution when they miss their committed ship dates.

Please beware! This company is not legitimate. The pre-order facility is simply a way to take your money. However, they do not have the stock and will not get it in. They have also refused to provide me with a refund stating that they do not offer returns. Returns of what? The order was not processed, no goods were delivered. They have said I should simply choose a different dress on their website instead. This is so crooked and abysmal customer service.

I absolute love heiress Beverly Hills! I first learned about them when I was looking for the perfect 21st birthday dress and fell in love ever since. Such great quality and so full of elegance. Sabrina, the customer support rep has been super helpful and kind with any questions I have about my order. Great job for having her on the team!

I placed an order during Cyber Monday sale but have yet to receive it. I also emailed their customer service team but, unfortunately, have not received any response.

While waiting for my order, I noticed on social media that they are actively sponsoring influencers wearing their clothes.

It’s a scam . I bought a a dress on 11/13/2024 for $156 and they keep saying it is out off stock and don’t want to give my money back

Same story as the others - purchased a pre-order black sheen corset dress on November 11 with expected ship date of November 15. My card was charged immediately and I was sent tracking information for an item that was never picked up by the carrier. Contacted customer service later that month looking for answers. "Sabrina" told me that the company was experiencing delays and I could expect my dress December 10th. That date passed with no updates. I reached out again and haven't heard back. The company deleted it's Instagram and I can only imagine that it did so to prevent other would-be shoppers from seeing all the "where is my order? Customer service isn't responding" comments. I've never left one of those before, but I only discovered the missing instagram account when I went looking to leave one. The item is still listed for pre-order, now with anticipated ship date of January 10. Was hoping to wear this dress for NYE. Obviously that's not happening and I suspect I won't get my money back either.

Sent me a tracking link that did not work. I have reached out twice to customer service and got no response. I have no NYE dress. Really disappointed.

Purchased a dress that was a preorder item in November for my company Christmas party in December. I contacted customer service when I noticed that after the expected ship date passed and I still hadn’t heard anything regarding my order. I spoke with Sabrina who informed me that they were having some issues with freight and that the ship date was pushed back again. Time went on and now the new ship date I still hadn’t heard anything and the size that I ordered was out of stock. So I emailed Sabrina again and asked her if I could change the size of my dress since the size I needed was no longer in stock. And I was then under time constraints because I needed the dress for my Christmas party. Sabrina made that happen for me, changed my size to ensure that I received my dress, and she shipped it 2 day express. Her customer service handling this matter was top tier! The dress fits like a glove and I can’t wait to wear it Friday night 😌

HORRIBLE!!! They stole my money!! I ordered a black tweed dress and after one month they told me it was out of stock and they will send me by Dec 12 as overnight shipping. Then they said they ran out again and next shipping would be January 10. They are trying to force me to pick a different dress and I don’t want another dress! I want the dress I ordered!! They refuse to give refund in the form of original payment, they only offer store credit. Now they stopped responding to my emails when I asked for my original dress! This website is a scam!! They are stealing your money and poor costumer service from this person named Sabrina!!!

Orders a dress for $250 on here. The dress zipper is messed up. I kindly asked for a refund & I was told I can got get a refund for a defective item. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I have the expectations of a better quality for the price. The dress is not up to par!

First, I waited about a month for them to send it, and now that it has arrived, the packaging is very ugly, classless, and worthless, and I really don't like it. Then, the dress is a medium size, like a large, and the stitching is bad, and the quality is poor. The bottom of the dress on the right is longer than the left. It's awful for $300.

I pre-ordered a beautiful tweed dress on November 11th, with an estimated ship date of November 15th. Upon messaging customer service, Sabrina informed me that the new estimated ship date is November 29th. On November 30th, I kindly asked if there is anyway if the order can be cancelled and if I can receive a refund. I was informed by Sabrina that based on their shipping and returns policy, all orders canceled/returned will be for a store credit only, but they received new stocks and my order was being prepared for shipping. She asked if I wanted my order to be shipped still and I said yes.

The next day I receive an email stating that they will ship my order as soon as it is back in stock. Now all of a sudden they didn’t receive enough stocks for the size I ordered. Sabrina then informed me that “the estimated ship date posted on the website is not 100% accurate, it can be shipped at a later date depending on the stocks arriving in our warehouse.” She also informed me that my dress will ship at the end of December.

Soon it will be going almost 2 months and I still do not have my item I pre-ordered. Why put an estimated date to lie and take customers money when you know it is not 100% accurate?? SMH!
