Just received my GVNR 16 oz jeans, awesome as always. Keep up the great work👍👍

I’d been eying up the moleskin overshirt for some time, but never bit the bullet and actually made the order.

My partner ordered me one last week, and it arrived within a couple of days.

I have to say, I own a lot of shirts (which is partly why it took me so long to order), but this one is something else. The quality is on another level, and is far nicer than my other shirts by big-name brands like Filson, Woolrich and Pendleton.

Would 100% recommend.

Bought the new summer shirt in April
Quality of the buttonhole was sub standard
Returned the item at my own cost
I had to chase the return
Told it was being fretted ? Yorkshire slang
Item returned the repair was sub standard
Emailed and was told I would be refunded
Then 10 days later told I wasn’t refunded because of I had not returned the item - I was not told to do this
So April to 26 July 4 months for an item that was sub standard and no longer for sale ( I wonder why?)
The whole transaction has left me feeling disappointed in a company that promotes British manufacturing
Poor work or in that other Yorkshire company from 1860 Shoddy

My son ordered some jeans and a jersey from this company in January 2023. Both were fabulous but the jersey was a little too big. He was very busy with work and didn't ask for an exchange until a few weeks ago. Any other company I have ever dealt with would have told him it was far too late for an exchange. HebTroCo were brilliant though and offered an exchange straight away. We sent the jersey back, but sadly the jersey, in the size he needed, was out of stock. They contacted us straight away to offer a full refund for the original garment. Brilliant customer service from Teasha and the team - we are huge fans!

The quality of the 925 jeans is utterly fantastic.
Unlike any other pair of jeans I've ever owned.
They are designed as work jeans but I bought them as casual wear as I love the utilitarian look with their extra large pockets and tool loop and double panels on the front of the legs and saddle area
They just look cool.
Plus the Company themselves have an amazing ethos.
Using sustainable materials and uk artisan manufacturing .
They may be more expensive than your standard Levis or wrangler but I think these puppies will last a very long time .
They are Selvedge raw denim so you must follow the washing instructions to the letter or they'll shrink.

We've become accustomed to artificially cheap clothing, but this comes at a price. Firstly, the exploitation of factory workers in the developing world, secondly, poor quality materials, cut and stitching, and thirdly, the decline of the clothing manufacturing industry in the UK.

None of the above applies to Hebtroco; yes, their prices are higher than those of their high street equivalents, but all their gear is made in the UK, and the attention to detail is second to none. Not just the quality of the cloth (which is often organic, carbon-neutral and that) and other materials (buttons etc plastic-free), but the cut and the stitching all justify the cost.

They have also gone into partnership with one or two other British firms (a South Wales textile sewing factory, a Derbyshire shoemaker using traditional British cobbling methods), so their success is helping others too.

I own three of their items - J5 Works raw denim (my favourite out of all my jeans); Titanium shirt (8oz, unlike their 16oz Iron shirt, but still sturdy enough as an overshirt, with lovely Candiani denim and lots of pockets); navy herringbone twill cargo pants with waist adjusters (an excellent idea for those of us whose waist size varies throughout the summer and winter months).

PS re. waist measurements, be warned: Hebtroco clearly state they don't do 'vanity sizing', so if you order a 34" waist, that's exactly what you'll get (unlike other manufacturers whose 34" is in reality a 35" or 36")

I can't praise this company highly enough, and I shall be buying more of their gear as and when I can afford to do so. I would rather have a few top-of-the-range garms in my wardrobe than have it stuffed full of High St tat.

Tough, hard-wearing, well constructed shirt.
Secure pockets that allow confident storage of wallet, keys, phone, book, sigg bottle.
Sort of shirt I wish I could have afforded when I was of an age for cool, well-made denim garments.

Firstly, sorry to anyone who’s struggling in this heat. It’s my fault. I bought a wool jumper and cardigan from HebTroCo. It’s a win for me, though – not only are they both properly made and such good quality that they’ll probably outlast me – but they’re both so soft. I thought all ‘proper wool jumpers’ were itchy. They’re not. The cardigan in particular is incredible. My head’s been turned. Thanks, HebTroCo for proper products, beyond excellent customer service, and speedy delivery – the world would be a better place if all companies were more like you chaps.

I bought three items (jeans and two workshirts) and there's something not quite right with all three.

A button on the jeans doesn't stay fastened, as do neither of the top buttons on the workshirts.

The biggest issue however was after washing a workshirt on 40 degrees once and then air-drying it has shrunk by two inches, leaving it barely wearable.

Company has offered nothing by way of repair in response to this.

The washing instructions do say wash on 30 degrees, but for something marketed as high quality/hard wearing to have such a reaction after one wash is disappointing (and expensive).

Ordered a number of items, jeans seemed really good quality but returned as fit wasn’t suitable. Refund took over 14 days to be provided and only was sorted once it was chased.

Also purchased the quilted selvedge vest which was great until I washed it when over most of the vest the wool had pulled through from the lining which has taken an age to remove. I followed the washing instructions but will stick to hand wash and spot cleaning in future. Expected better though as that hasn’t happened with other gilets/vests that I own.

Mug and socks were all fine though and spot on.

Whilst it took a few emails and some period of time before a refund was made for a pair cargo trousers which were too big; I absolutely love the brown cardigan which arrived today and fits perfectly:-)

Just wanted to write to say the Tan Buzzard Gloves have arrived and are simply awesome - possibly the best handgear in the world (apart from maybe perhaps Bernie Sanders' mittens). I went for a walk on the day they arrived and saw three buzzards and a kite - and I wasn't even wearing them at the time!

Fit and finish is superb and the quality of the oiled deerskin leather is topnotch both inside and out. He's a clever fella that Ashley.

Well done for another simply excellent product - I shall treasure these for years -they'll age better than me I wager!

I’ve just taken delivery of a pair of your M16 jeans and wanted to leave a review.

Delivered the day after ordering, by a postman who seemed to have gotten the Hebtroco memo and thus introduced today's weather as "sh*te", the M16's feel bulletproof out of the bag. Reassuringly heavy and a great fit - the inclusion of 28” legs is a bonus for us short arses and mean I don’t have to double (or triple) the hipster turn-up. Listed as "the slimmest jean we do" these are definitely not skinny, offering room for a chunky thigh and calf without being baggy, they could’ve been made to measure, so much so that and I can see me coming back for a new pair once these start to fade from ‘new’ to ‘worn’, which I guess won’t be within the year. For me these have the makings of the perfect jean.

Finally ordered pair of indigo G6's after months of procrastination.

Why did I wait so long?

Why do people complain about prices?

Give me quality over quantity any day of the week.

Ordering another pair soon.

Bought a pair of jeans from these guys and I must say they are the best quality I've ever had. Only had a few weeks so still breaking them in (could have stood them up themselves they were so stiff). Expecting to last a long time and I'll be saving up for my next purchase from them. Keep up the good work. DBAD

Bought a pair of the M16 jeans 4 months ago and thought I’d wait a while to review as I wanted to see how they held up to repeated wear over several weeks. I’m really happy with my purchase. I’ve had selvedge jeans before but these are at another level - really heavy, beautifully dark blue, and the fit is perfect. I found despite the weight they didn’t need too long to feel ‘lived in’ and certainly didn’t feel as stiff as other selvedge I’ve bought previously. Really impressed and will certainly buy from HebTroCo again next time in the market for a new pair of jeans.

I bought the Ironshirt, I originally ordered the wrong size.
This was exchanged with no problems or delays.
Exceptional quality I'm really looking forward to see how it fades over time.
I can see why they describe it as almost bulletproof lol.
I've also bought quality wool socks from them (very toasty), yes the clothes are quite expensive but they are UK produced and quality clothing is always going to be at a premium price but I'm happy to pay and will definitely buy from them again.
You can't go wrong.

Since they started I have bought three different items from them and they are each 100% the best of their kind. Expensive, yes, but quality is totally second to none. What amazes me more is how they manage to find better fabrics than any other business and why more people do not seem to make clothes to this level of quality. Eyeing up my next item (limited to no more than one a year).

Customer service from initial request to purchase was amazing (me not understanding the right size to order 🙄)
Material and quality of manufacture was exceptional
However, when I realised that the smock did not suit me it all went a bit wrong!
Item was returned as requested, then I read the “can take up to 14 days to refund” but…….
On day 15 I requested that they refund me, they did, but it shouldn’t take that long or a nudge
Such a shame that you let yourselves down in such a poor manner
