Helen listened to what we said and came up with a holiday to suit our needs
We’re flying locally and to a destination new to us
She was patient and provided us with a breakdown so that we could decide if it was the correct choice for us
After a coffee in a local coffee shop we contacted the branch and made a booking

Looked on all popular holiday websites as wanting to book for August. Decided to pop into Hays Travel in Yarm and spoke to Karen who listened to what beach holidays we liked. Within 10 minutes Karen found us an amazing deal in August for 10 nights all inclusive 4* adults only hotel in Tenerife which we booked straight away. I have gone back onto websites I normally use and still can't find the exact holiday any cheaper.
Karen has also found us a holiday in Feb 27 for a gr8 deal.
Guys if you want fantastic customer service, cheap holidays and no stress Karen from Hays is your gal.

Booked a short break to the sunshine for myself and my daughter. Staff were reassuring and Becki found a lovely hotel in Mallorca which suited our specific dates, budget

Hi I have purchased some travel money today only £50 and I explained it was just for tips not realising there was a buy back of £3.95 added this was never offered as an extra or asked if required just added on which I feel was a little underhanded not sure if the staff get commission.
The lady quickly said that’s £51.08 with buyback you will be able to tap the screen not offering the extra service to the customer.
I called the shop the lady was very polite but nervous with her explanation saying I told you about the buyback but only quickly at the time of payment and not offering this service beforehand.
Come on Hays if you offer a service please explain to the customer do not miss sell.
