There was no pressure during this time and once we organised our visit everything was in place from airport pick up to collection for viewings.

After many holidays in Barbados I decided to enquire to some agents about the possibility of buying a property in Barbados. I enquired through agents websites to roughly six different companies based in Barbados and the UK. Hardings got in contact with me straight away. It took the others weeks and in one case I am still waiting.

On my first chat with Gus the owner of the business I immediatley felt I was in good hands as he had knowledge of the island and the whole buying process including the formation of bank accounts etc. Gus has years of business and personal experience in Barbados and this was crucial to me as It allowed him to direct me and guide me through the property on the market. There is so much more to buying a property overseas that you can take for granted.

Gus has been very attentive and very patient throughout this whole process. He has been available to answer questions when ever required. As Gus is an expert in his field he usually knows the answer immediately to my questions. He doesn't have to phone a colleague . This is what sets a good agent apart from an excellent agent.(Gus being an excellent agent)

I have been on two trips to visit property with Hardings. I was impressed by the property presented to me and I was made to feel very welcome.

After having many many phone calls, emails and texts over the past 16 months I have now bought a property in Barbados which I feel 100% comfortable with. I cant wait to get back to Barbados and enjoy the property.

We contacted them by email on 9th May 2022, prompt telephone call received within an hour of enquiry off Oz to ask what we were looking for and budget.

Contacted us daily with properties on the market that might be of interest to us.

We were picked up from our hotel (offered to collect us from the airport but we had already arranged transfer) by Oz and Bobby promptly on the date and time arranged.

We were shown a number of properties during the day with honest pros and cons of all of them.

We put an offer in (19th May) on the first property (typical) which was accepted.

Oz then took us to arrange all official documentation to enable us to purchase the property from getting tax numbers, opening a bank account, signing contracts etc

We completed the sale on 10th June (whilst back in the UK) with excellent communication from Oz.

We are still in contact a couple of times a week with Oz doing all the after sales services on our behalf.

We cannot thank both Oz and Bobby enough for all their help in finding our retirement home in Altinkum.

They both go beyond doing 'a job'

We are still in contact and would like to think of both Oz and Bobby as friends.

My experience of using Harding International to purchase my villa in Didim Turkey has been 100% positive. Having had no previous experience in buying property abroad, I was understandably very nervous about the situation. But the whole process has been smooth and problem free, I would say easier than buying in the UK. Harding's Turkish affiliates, in Didim, Ozan and Bahadir guided me through the whole process and made sure that everything taken care of. Even after the purchase they have always been there to help in any way possible, from sorting out utilities to buying furniture.

i was really nervous when i purchased the property on line i was worrying i hadn't viewed it and would there actually be a property there when i went out. But when i got there Ozan From Harding was there with the keys to my new house and i was over the moon with the property. The company were really helpful told me every process i needed to do to purchase the property and even purchased it on my behalf. It was really easy not like buying in the uk. Can't wait to go back out in April 23.

Amazing company, excellent customer service!

We had great support from Harding Estate Agent in Turkey while property-hunting in Akbuk area. Ozan helped us throughout our search and viewings. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and prompt in responding. He keeps client's requirements and interests at heart. We greatly appreciated his professionalism.
We also had good help from Ozan's colleague Bahodir during viewings.

Unfortunately my experience with this estate agent was far from good. I recently approached them to view a property in Turkey. Fergus responded saying that he was happy to arrange the viewing but gave me a bit of a lecture because I had not responded to his previous messages. Although I did reply saying that I won’t be able to view any properties at this time. I was subsequently bombarded with emails asking if I was still looking for a property, which I did not reply to. However, I apologised and explained that life had been rather hectic. To my amazement, his response was unfortunately yet another very condescending lecture about not responding to his emails in 2020, asking if I was still looking for a property to buy. Surely the fact that I had informed them that I was not looking to purchase a property at that time should have been sufficient. I was flabbergasted to say the least. At that time I was grieving, my brother had died and I was ill which resulted in my having two operations. I explained this to Fergus and he has not bothered to reply or arrange the viewing. He has shown no compassion or understanding of my situation and done exactly what he accused me of doing, not responding. I think his attitude is extremely unprofessional and considering he is a director of the company totally unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this company.

We were not let down again, from the initial discussion re valuation and fees Fergus was honest and approachable, the pictures he took were great, (unlike some that we saw on our house hunting journey) a good indicator of room size, his descriptions were accurate and he sold our home realising its potential.
Fergus and the team were great with the communication side of things, especially during the frustrating times, and even whilst he was abroad he responded to messages promptly.
We are very grateful for all that those at Hardings did for us, we hope not to move again for many many years, but if we do we’d be sure to call them first.
