Sign up for a plan that is supposed to charge you every 90 days, but they will charge you the full rate every 30 (3x as much). They refuse to provide refunds. Claim it is fixed when it is not. They also will not let you cancel, every time you call to cancel they give you a new reason why you have to call back and are unable to.

Horrible service
I had 30$ plan since 2014. Earlier this month I was told as I am considered a valuable customer I was told they have a promotion for 150$ for the entire year for the same plan. I switched my wife and I and two days later I had no internet. I called customer service they put me on hold and they hung up. I called again with the same problem and the person said they never had a promotion like I was told and basically told me I was lying. She called us and said we don’t call back. He refused to allow me to speak to his supervisor. Bad service would not recommend.
Fine if you want a low cost carrier and don't have to call.
I have used H2O for many years. Coverage is good. Customer service is hit or miss. Annual plans that they have right now are the cheapest I have found on the market. If I want to make a change, it may work out fine, it might be a pain. I rarely have to call (I haven't called in 3-4 years). I tried activating a new line for my daughter today. Their website will not get past the "pick an area code" screen. I just get a never ending spinney thing. Tried 2 different browsers but still could not get it to work. I called waited on hold for 5 minutes and then there was a message "There are no agents online at this time." And then it hung up on me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hugo, the H2O Wireless CSR (I believe they were in Mexico), was fast and very professional and helpful. It is a simple glitch, with establishing a new account (little-used 2nd esim line in US) and porting in a number from G-hopper. All sorted, and it was a pleasure to speak with a great and pleasant, professional customer support person. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Check your data balance everyday.
This month, I was surprised about how my high-speed data ended up so fast and I had to complete more but the worst thing is, I didn’t use my hotspot data and after checking today the balance is 0. It is not possible for the customer center to explain me what happened. I need to think about how to save my money.
Long time customer about to go...
I've been a long time customer however I've had a recent experience that I feel should be shared. I got new phones for my wife and I so we had to get new sim cards (no big deal). The problem was with customer support. The woman would do nothing unless we could tell her the exact date we opened our original H2O account (no one would know the exact date after 10+ years). Then she wanted to know the 3 last phone calls we completed. Problem is, we don't use the phone. It's for emergency calls only. After an hour of getting nowhere, we asked for a manager who fixed us up in 5 minutes. What a PITA this whole exercises was. H2O better brush up on staff training before they lose 3 long time customers.
On a separate incident, H2O stopped service on a 3 month old phone making it useless, wasting our money big time. They said that they no longer support that phone (4G phone). That family member dumped H2O and never went back. One more strike and I'm out too. You've been warned, H2O.
Worst wireless company in history hands down
I change my plan from the 20 dollar plan to the unlimited is what I was told come to find out it’s only 60 GB and another thing it’s claiming I used up all my data in two weeks I just ported my number in from AT&T I went back over my bill will AT&T and I’ve never went over 32-38 gb a month so not only are they liars they are scammers also stole my data and personal info off my phone by hanging me then lied and claim the 50 dollar plan was unlimited throw this company in the trash I’m reporting to everyone Better business the attorney general etc.

They turned the phones on after they illegally turned them off during the service period I had already paid for, and the data wouldn't work. I tried to get them to fix the issue. Then they turned them off again after they lied and said the sim cards were expired to cover their tracks; I feel. I have proof that this is a lie. I made a phone call and a text. That would not have been possible if the sim cards had expired. Plus, their data configuration specialists confirmed the sim cards are not expired. He also proved that the phones were up to date and weren't the problem. I believe they turned the phones off again so I could not contact a lawyer, my bank, or the FBI to report the fraud they were committing. I didn't have service for the four phones I paid for and two still didn't have service after they recharged two through autopay. The two that did get recharged could make phone calls and send text, but could not use their data. I have proof. I am a disabled American Veteran and I have a pacemaker/defibrillator, and my chest was hurting badly after dealing with all of this.
I didn't go to the hospital. I went to sleep. My chest was still hurting when I woke up the next morning. They turned off the four phones I pay for through their service and now the data doesn't work on any of them, even though I paid for it. I was charged by autopay to recharge all four phones, and they still aren't functioning properly. The data configuration specialists can't find the problem. We tried everything. There are no outages in the area either and, as I stated earlier, the sim cards have not expired as they tried to claim before I spoke to the data configuration specialists. I feel like it is due to them turning the service off when I had already paid. They say they have escalated the case to AT&T and I had to call back on Monday, March 17, 2025. This has been going on since March 8, 2025, that I know of. They turned all the phones off on March 11, 2025. As I stated earlier I am a disabled American veteran who has a pacemaker / defibrillator, and I had no phone service for emergency purposes, and this isn't good. My dad is 100% disabled, and they turned his phone off. My daughter's phone was off as well. I pay for all four phone services through autopay. The debit card was updated when I was told to do so well before this time. Today is March 19, 2025, and I still can’t use the data that I paid for on my 2 phones and my Dad and daughter can't either. I tried calling 611 and that call was even breaking up. The data configuration specialist was supposed to call me back to fix the issue after he got a call back from AT&T. I am still waiting for this call. I have lost so much time on the phone with the data configuration specialists trying to fix the issue that is apparently on their end. No one wants to have to go through this after they have paid for a service. Two whole days this past weekend and on this past Monday as well I have been on the phone with these people troubleshooting when the issue is obviously with their service.
Disaster company
Disaster company! Terrible customer service. I am still waiting for them to get back to me to refund my money after trying to set up eSIM pay as you go, which when trying to activate it doesn’t see my account, even two days after payment. I can’t get hold of anyone! Do not waist your money!!

Money you save will be thrown away in terrible offshore customer service that you will have to call back over and over to get the smallest problem taken care of. Pitiful customer service reps are trained to obfuscate and deflect. If you go on autopay, when you cancel you have to specifically and separately call to request them to stop autopay or they will keep charging you. They charged me for two months after I cancelled. The reps were trained to blame me for being overcharged.

H2O Wireless is a terrific wireless service and whole lot less expensive than Verizon and the like. They're on the AT&T network, so the service is really good and the prices can't be beat. They are in the process of updating their website so I expect that they'll continue to improve and be discovered by thousands more consumers looking for good, inexpensive wireless service soon.

I'm sorry but this is an atrociously horrible operation. Every time I call these people it takes a considerable chunk out of my day. Their plans are fairly reasonably priced but that's about it. As of right now my phone is not working at all due to 100% incompetence on behalf of H20 Wireless. I am anxiously looking forward to my PureTalk sim cards showing up in a couple days but I expect it will take a good while just to get them to help me switch. Absolutely terrible!
Buyer Beware!
I've had the same plan for some 5+ years and a few days ago I changed my plan (from monthly "$15" to annual "$70") via over the phone direct customer service. From hello, it was down hill like a snow ball getting bigger bigger my customer service experience got worst & worst. I was unable to send or receive texts (not ever from h2o). After 10 lengthy & tedious calls to to h2o customer service. it's still NOT working and they will not reinstate it back to the previous plan without charging full price $15 and forfeiting $70. Their policy is without exception is: NO REFUNDS and NO BALANCE TRANSFERS BETWEEN PLANS!

Today I cancelled my H2O wireless service after 7 years of relying on their $20 individual plan. I have had a great experience with such an affordable and mostly reliable service, but am now switching to a new carrier for a family plan. The $20 plan comes with unlimited talk and text, and just enough data for me to get by when I am not connected to WiFi. For data-heavy users, this is not the plan for you. But for someone who mainly calls, this plan got me through high school and almost all of college. I read a lot of negative reviews regarding their customer service, and although I agree that it can be frustrating to be on the line for an extended amount of time, all of the representatives I have spoken to are dedicated to assisting H2O customers. Even when I went to cancel my service, they were very understanding and worked with me to ensure that I could port out my number. You can explore the rest of their plans and promotions for something that better suits your lifestyle, but if you just need a simple, affordable plan, I would highly recommend H2O.
