Every guitar is carefully inspected and professionally set up before dispatch. We check the instrument’s playability, action, neck relief, intonation and overall condition so that it arrives ready to play rather than simply being taken from a box and shipped. A great staff and a music shop with a wide choice of references, especially for the Reverend instruments
Being a deep fan of Reverend guitars and basses, I was eager to purchase the Lil Linhbacker bass and Merchant City Music is one of the few music shops to sell Reverend instruments in Europe. The staff is really helpfull, efficient and kind. I got my new bass very quickly and I know that it was checked by them. When I received my new bass, the Reverend Lil Linhbacker which looks and sounds so great, I was surprised how quickly I've been accustomed to playing that short scale bass... and how smooth and confortable it was. For me, it's the "Reverend touch" with the serious of the Merchant City Music staff ! Thanks to all of them ! To them : "You're great !"

Very happy with my new Ovation bowl back
From visiting the store to try a few guitars out to picking up my fully restrung and set up new guitar the whole process was great.
Paul & Peter gave me loads of advice based on what I was saying, without feeling pressured to buy instantly or spend more than I wanted. I ended up having to have a model ordered in as it wasn’t in stock, felt really informed the whole time.
Was my first purchase from Merchant City Music but would be my go-to choice every time now.

As a relatively local company I'd have bought from them anyway, but theirs was the best price for what is a fairly niche item, and was delivered without fuss in just a couple of days.
