Had a great hike with Markus. Met us at the dock. Very helpful, pleasant and informative. Really nice experience.

It was a fantastic excursion with unforgettable panoramic views and hearing stories about the locals. The waterfalls were magnificent and so were the snow-capped mountains. This excursion is worth trying as long as you are in a good mood to experience an adventure.

Jeg havde en fantastisk tur med Jens Peter som guide,og anbefaler alle at komme rundt på denne måde. Det bliver en meget personlig oplevelse, når vi bliver kørt rundt i privatbil. Jens Peter har stor viden om Færøernes historie og er god til at formidle den og svare på spørgsmål.
Man når virkelig meget rundt på de 3 øer i løbet af de 7 timer og oplever det fantastiske landskab og får gode historier og fortællinger om Færøerne 8g Færøernes befolkning.
Al den viden jeg fik med ville jeg ikke have fået ved selv at køre turen. Det er ikke viden man bare lige læser om det. Tusind tak for oplevelsen.

Anita and Tummas of Heimdal Tours are the best. I had three fantastic days with them, visiting and hiking to some of the most spectacularly beautiful scenery I have seen. They were punctual and, especially, patient as I peppered them with one question after another about life on the Faroe Islands. They even provided really tasty lunches. I cannot recommend them or the itinerary more highly. I hope to return and explore more islands with them.

I took the tour called Top-rated Faroe Islands Highlights Tour on August 25th, and I only have positive reviews to give. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind, and she could answer all the questions me and the other tour participants had.
The tour covers the major must-see places in the Faroe Islands, and the tour guide also took us to places which were not really included in the tour.
It also helped that we us a group really enjoyed each other's company, even though we did not know each other and came from different parts of the world.
Not only did I see the most beautiful places and enjoyed breathtaking sceneries, I also learned a lot from the tour guide about the Faroese people and their way of living. I truly can recommend this tour.

I visited the Faroe Islands in October/November 2025. I was several times in contact with Guide to Faroe Islands In advance). I got always fast as well as helpful answers to my inquiries, bookings were easy to do and reliable. The webside is very helpful, too.
If you plan a Faroe trip, you should check this webside in advance.
If you like rough nature, just visit the Faroe Islands.

In may 2025 We visited the beautiful Faroe Islands. Thanks to Guide to the Faroe Islands I was able to plan a lot of trips during our stay from 15 to 22 may 2025. Also booking ticktes for some sea tours was very easy. This site is a must for travelers to these beautiful Islands.

Hogni von der Agentur war sehr zuverlässig und alles hat bestens geklappt. die Papageientaucher auf Mykines, die Kalsoj Insel mit dem Kallur Lighthouse und der James Bond Gedenkstein und die spektakuläre Natur haben uns sehr gefallen. Für jeden Musikliebhaber ist die Musikszene eine Perle. Der tutle store ist ein Muss.

I was planning a trip to Faer Oer islands and in the website I found such useful information. They offered several solutions and I decided for a 5- days self-drive tour. As soon as I booked I was given all the info about the hotel, the car pickup and the tunnel fees included, although it was months in advance.
I also found suggestions and tips for trekking and exploring the area.
Communication was always clear and timely.

I had an absolutely incredible time in the Faroe Islands with Guide to Faroe Islands! I did the 7-day tour and every day was better than the last. The islands are truly stunning, breathtaking, and serene. Every day was a new and exciting adventure, with a nice mix of relaxed, driving, exploring days and more active hiking days.

I initially wanted to rent a car and drive around on my own but then decided against it. And I'm so glad I did. Having a local guide made the trip even more special. I don't think I would have made it to half the places if I had been on my own. The more remote locations only a local would know about ended up being some of my favorites.

Sveinur was a fantastic guide! He made sure we got to do and see everything we wanted to, and he went out of his way to make it a special experience for us. I really appreciated that he checked the weather for the next day and made adjustments to the itinerary to make sure we had the best experience on each island. He was also extremely funny and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history and culture of the Faroes during our trip.

Hogni, the owner, was very responsive whenever I had questions before and during my trip. The website had a lot of information for me to compare tour options, and it was very quick and easy to book my tour.

I had an unforgettable trip and left with memories to last a lifetime. I hope to come back one day soon to explore more. I highly recommend a visit to the Faroe Islands and I definitely recommend Guide to Faroe Islands if you want a memorable trip.

This tour package is the perfect blend of hiking, sightseeing, and free time to explore Torshavn on your own. It's hard to write a succinct review of this tour, as every day was incredible! I was blown away on a daily basis by that day's activities. The hikes and the surrounding landscapes are simply stunning. I also really enjoyed the boat tour of the Vestmanna sea cliffs and exploring small villages on the non-hiking days. And, the tour truly benefits from having a local family serving as the tour guides. Johan, his father Hans, his sister Hansi, and his brother Andreas were incredibly warm and friendly. It really added to the experience to hear about the island's history and culture from locals who clearly love their country. I also visited the islands as a solo traveler during a national strike. Johan and his family kept the tour running smoothly during what I'm sure was a stressful time. I feel very fortunate to have booked this tour and to have been able to see so many places during a single week. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Faroe Islands!!

Great Selection of Tours - Responsive Service.

What drew me to their website was the range of tours available. It meant that I could plan my holiday by just using one website. Unfortunately, due to the general strike, I had to cancel the tours I had arranged, but the team were really responsive and promised a full refund. I will rebook with them once I have new dates in mind.

We booked 5 tours with Guide to Faroe Islands and found them to be extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of the strike action taken place in the FI, we had to cancel our trip. Guide to Faroe Islands were most understanding and fully reimbursed out tours with no hesitation.

We had the great pleasure to visit the Faroe Islands in May for 4 days.We took 2 "Guide To Faroe Islands" tours.We had the good fortune on each tour to experience the services of two OUTSTANDING guides.
Sadly we cannot remember the name of the elderly gentleman who conducted our 4 hour tour but the guide for our seven hour "See it All" tour was Elsa Maria Beerentsen.

On both tours our guides gave generously of their time and on the 4 hour tour we had our guide for 5 hours and on the seven hour tour Elsa Maria was with us for nearly 9 hours.

How lucky were we. Their knowledge of these beautiful, breathtaking islands was immense and we were continually fascinated by their personal stories as well as them telling us everything we wanted to know about this paradise on earth.

We cannot recommend "Guide To the Faroe Islands"highly enough.We came away feeling we had received more than our money's worth.

The only thing we feel sad about is that we only saw puffins at a distance flying through the skies.

Other than this, it was a perfect trip which we would recommend to anyone.

This travel company is world class. Professional and efficient and importantly, operate from a deep sense of love for and knowledge about their amazing country.
