What a fabulous holiday
What a fabulous holiday! The service from Great Valie Holidays was outstanding, from the initial booking, right through. Every arrangement was perfect, i had a query that was answered promtly and effectively. Every tour went like clockwork. Every transfer or arrangement made was brilliant and efficient. The hotel was stunning. The trips and transfers were great. I really couldn't praise your company more. I have already started looking at what you have for my next holiday. Thank you so much for making our holiday unforgettable❤️

Iceland in winter
Booking the holiday was easy and fuss free. Hotel Akureyri couldn’t be bettered. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, great breakfast and a great location for walking around.
Only be aware even Iceland has an off season. Most museums closed and trips affected. Great value though and we saw The Lights !

Short trip to Akureyri
We’ve just come back from northern Iceland and I must say it will remain one of our favour holidays. Brilliant accommodation, room with a beautiful view of the fjord. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Northern lights experience was just wow!! Akureyri we loved. Great value holidays are what they are called, great value or in my mind fantastic value!!

Good value and enjoyable break
We chose this holiday at relatively short notice with a new (to us) operator and were not disappointed. Everyone we met in Akureyri seemed friendly. Even the official staff at the airport were especially polite and calming! All the excursions were well managed and expertly guided; our Northern Lights tour postponement due to overcast weather was successfully rearranged. We were kept well-informed and everything went to the revised plan. The hotel was warm, comfortable, with friendly staff. Overall, a good value, great experience, and enjoyable break.

Excellent value for money…….
Loved the excursions, although they were extra we thought they were excellent value for money as was the cost of the holiday. The Forest Lagoon is a must, we did it on our last free day which was a great end to the holiday. The hotel was in a good central position, our room was ok, it served its purpose, the staff was lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. Although very short I would do this holiday all over again.

Flights and transfers excellent. Hotel quaint and very friendly staff. Rooms a little snug with no storage, so live out of luggage. Beds very comfy and you have fridge, safe and coffee

This short break on an easyJet flight from Manchester is a chance to see the “real Iceland” and the capital of Northern Iceland is a real joy especially during the winter months.
Stay at the Hotel Akureyri which offers spotlessly clean well located accommodation and a breakfast to die for.

Nice holiday and good value
We just spent 4 days in Iceland and enjoyed it very much. The package was good value, it included a northern lights tour and we experienced no problems. The hotel room was small but comfortable, we would have appreciated more space for our belongings. Breakfast had a variety of food and good coffee.

Akureyri in Iceland is a place to go
As a travel company that we are not familiar with and therefore had doubts regarding the delivery of our trip, including excursions, it is refreshing to say that the delivery was spot on. The flights, transfers, accommodation, food and trips were all great. Akureyri in Iceland is a place to go and it did not let us down with whales and the northern lights both being highlights.

4 night break to Akureyri Iceland…
Our 4 night break to Akureyri Iceland was well organised, the trips we booked as an add on were efficient and very interesting. Hotel Akureyri annex was comfortable and clean, breakfast offered a wide range of food. Flights via easyJet were on-time.
