I can say that I received excellent support and service by the Grabacar team.

I had a very specific Japanese domestic market car in mind when I first found Grabacar on-line, and already understood that landing a personal import is a complex process.

The import process demands that car has to pass through many stages including de-registration abroad, collection, shipping, UK type approval and UK registration, so I was looking for an agent I could trust.

I can say that all of these stages were extremely well managed by Grabacar.

And even before I put a deposit on the purchase, Grabacar were able to provide a very reassuring report on the cars condition and history.

Then I was given confidence all the way through as I was always updated with timely and relevant bulletins on progress as we cleared all these hurdles one by one.

In all, a very professional service and I would certainly import a car with Grabacar again.

This was my first time importing a vehicle. (Suzuki Every Wagon from Japan). I looked into the process with a view to arranging it myself, but it seemed mighty complex, so I was pleased to find Grabacar. After watching for a while the ideal van came up, so I took what I thought was a gamble and hit the "buy now" button. Best thing I ever did. Brilliant service from start to finish. Genuinely one price given at the start covered EVERYTHING. (I did add on undersealing the van and delivery to my home address though). The vehicle is exactly as described; communication was very very good, they were friendly to speak to and explained everything. All questions answered quickly and clearly. There were many, as I'd not been through the process before.
There was a very long wait - not the fault of Grabacar at all- due largely to being at the whim of the shipping lines, and also delivery coinciding with UK holidays. But it got here eventually and I'm extremely happy. I would certainly recommend Grabacar to anyone.

Found a 1982 Suzuki LJ80 on Grabacar.uk and decided to go for it. From the first message to getting the keys, the team were great and handled everything. The car arrived just as shown in the photos (maybe even better) and drives exactly as it should. Took about 16 weeks - Buying an overseas car online can feel risky, but they made the whole process easy and straightforward. Really pleased with my LJ80—thanks, Grabacar.
