Popped in with a friend this afternoon, I was after a pair of Gortex walking trainers. Lucy was overseeing that area this afternoon and was a massive help, not just going backwards and forwards for me ( several different ones I chose you didn’t have in my size 5 so needed to choose others until one was found in my size and she thought outside the box and brought both colors so I had a choice 😊) but helping several others who were choosing and trying on, we all kept her busy. She took it all in her stride, a lovely smiley young lady who didn’t get flustered, great customer service :-) and I left with what I went in for, happy days.

Click and Collect
Ordered two items via click and collect. Heard nothing for over a week, so rang the store to enquire. Was informed one item was there, but they were still waiting for the other, which they assumed had been lost in transit. Nobody had bothered to let me know this.

Bought but not received.
Bought the tent last week. Still not delivered by Evri who claim to have attempted to deliver which is not the case.

Great customise service in store
We bought online but only after going into the shop at Monks Cross in York. We were really impressed by one of your staff members who took the time to really help my husband choose the right walking boots and showed him a surgeon's knot to get the fit right. The wrong item was sent to us
The wrong item was sent to us, it got mixed up with another order. I took the item into store to return it and they told me that they had issued a refund. We have still not received the refund and therefore we have no item and no money.
You can improve by sending out the correct item in the first instance.
You could refund people when you said you are.
Or you could send out the correct item out to me now please.

Brilliant Service and a Great Purchase
By using Go Outdoors price match policy (with my membership card) I was able to make a massive saving on the advertised price.

Fantastic store
The York Vanguard Go Outdoors is absolutely incredible. The store is huge and very well organised and maintained.
I had a great experience here yesterday. I'd like to mention that Lewis on the checkout was very polite and professional, he helped with an issue on my membership card quickly and is a fantastic member of the team.
