GO Outdoors - Preston Anmeldelser 

My mum and I came into the store today and was advised the store closed in 5 minutes.
We quickly rushed to the footwear department to purchase some sandals for my autistic son. We struggled to find any his size when a young colleague Alfie helped us and explained what they had in stock and what they didn’t. As my son is in between children and adult sizes we couldn’t find a pair and was about to walk out when Alfie said they had a size for my son in a different colour - they were perfect and we went ahead and purchased them! Alfie is an exceptional colleague who should be recognised for his outstanding customer service!!

We had reason to return our recently purchased tent to Go Outdoors in Preston.
We were promptly dealt with by Mark who was excellent to deal with, he was so helpful and really good to discus various camping issues. The whole experience with Go Outdoors was so efficient and would not hesitate recommending the Preston branch and a big thankyou to Mark

KOJO SUPERSTAR!! I wanted some new walking boots and I couldn’t have wished for someone better to help me. I wanted to try 3 different brands, merrell, north face and scarpa. He talked me through the differences in the materials of each boot and brand, and answered any questions I had perfectly. There was next to nothing he didn’t know about the stock in store ! He has been there 4 years and is so so knowledgable. Absolute credit to the Go Outdoors team. He didn’t rush me to make a decision or stand over me whilst I tried all the boots on, he let me take my time and see what worked well for me. Can’t praise him enough!

I was served by George at the Preston Deepdale branch, and I can honestly say this is the best customer service I have received in a long time. He was polite, extremely helpful, and went out of his way to sort out my Duke of Edinburgh discount, all smoothly and with a smile. It is so refreshing to see such excellent service, which is so often lacking in today's younger generation. Thank you, George!

Alison at Preston, Deepdale was great. We arrived at GoOutdoors Preston the day before a camping trip to buy 2 chairs. The choice was very limited as they had been selling many chairs due to the recent heatwave. Alison advised that a delivery had just arrived and there were chairs on it but it needed unloading and checking. She took our number and said she would call us later that day. Within an hour we received a call from Alison who had reserved 2 chairs for us and left them at the till. What can I say, great customer service, very helpful, can’t fault our experience

I arrived close to the stores closing time and felt still welcomed. I gathered all the items I needed and were assisted when necessary. Checking out was easy and not rushed. Thank you to George, for the great checkout experience and for giving his full attention to the customer.

This is the second time I have ordered online in recent weeks and the second time I have not received an email or text to say my order is ready. I have had to leave it a couple of days each time and go in in the hope the order is ready. Both times it was which was good but I'd be extremely annoyed if it wasn't.

Products were great value.
However, it was the service that stands out. George helped me out to the car as I had a full trolley of camping gear - fine young man for doing that.

Fast efficient service and friendly staff

Kojo was incredibly patient and helpful whilst I tried on virtually every walking boot in the shop! His recommendation was spot on - they fit like a glove and now at home with me! He even delayed his lunch break to finish serving me. Thank you - I wish more retail staff were like this.

Went in for some fishing tackle for my son. Having not fished for years myself and knowing lots has changed. Calvin was extremely helpful, told me what I needed, but also showed me what to do with it. Will definitely go back when I need more. Thankyou very much

We visited Go Outdoors in Deepdale today and we were served by Kojo and Arthur. Kojo was very knowledgable of the products and so helpful when we wanted to try on different boots. Arthur was also very helpful and patient when it came to us applying different discounts, price matches etc.
Great store, great customer service and brilliant staff!
